So weird watching this in 2021. Imagine we used to talk to each other, touch each other, be close to one another, and share dinners with friends and strangers alike. I hope we all get to experience this again in the near future without any severe trauma rolling in the background instead of "I Wonder"
style is timeless, fashion comes and goes, one moment you could be the most fashionable person and the next moment you could be out of date. in my opinion, he did this to show that style is timeless, no matter what era, you could fit in/look great, black and white creates the effect that style is eternal
Best bits of this video are the fact that it's in b&w, John Malkovitch randomly appearing here & there & good god, 2:06 has got be the definition of sheer italian coolness & class, imo. Salute !
Perfect video!. i am 18 years old and the sartorialst is a HUGE inspiration to my everyday wardrobe. I hate the way kids my age are dressing. I want to be classy and these guys are truly and inspiration. Who is the person in 2:08 on the right? i love his hair and the man in 2:28? I love how he mixes tattoos with class. TRULY AN INSPIRATION, THANKS SCOTT
Apart from Being well dressed they all look to be having a good time and liking each other's company , and being full of life a really nice bunch of men .
Awesome! Others should not be too harsh to judge these men negatively. They are just being themselves and are not hurting anyone. A bunch of men having a good time! nothing wrong with that.
Don't give up on that sentiment dude. My friends are mostly the same way - everyone thinks that my striving to be well-dressed is too encompassing. Dgaf what anyone says: don't let people dictate your style :D
You know, at first I felt like being without color was totally missing the point, but then I realized that that's not really the point of this, you're right. We can see their color combinations in the many photos of them online... here, the idea is that they're here together, meeting and being fashionable men in the same room.
Since these are meant to be some of the best dressed men in fashion, it would be nice to see their colour combinations. That's a pretty important aspect of clothing that's missing here
It doesn't matter how well your clothes fit if they are in horrible colours. Many of the great dressers of eras past wore very bright dandy colours and yet are considered stylish now because there only exist black and white photos of them
i feel you man. Im sorry people comment on you in a negative way ( i have not been made fun of and unfortunately my parents support my dressing style.) We should bring the level of class kids our age have forgotten behind "Swag". Your not alone, i even think that we will be rewarded for dressing classy, just my opinion.

Take the mask off your profile picture could be a start
How sophisticated!! Next time, I want to be the chef to cook dinner for these exclusive guests! Thanks for sharing!

Seen this 8,7,6,5 years ago and I'm back again. I would love to do something like this. once a month or something.
Thanks Scott. I have been waiting for this ever since you posted the first stills.
Graceful dinner. just filled with intoxicating class and talent. my kinda rendez-vous!! Ta ta!
That was so refreshing to watch. Ahhh.
This video is truly amazing, thank you.

There should be a much longer version, that would be amazing!
This is so magical.

I LOVE SPREZZATURA
VERY ELEGANT
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wonderful
Por estos detalles vale la pena vivir
¡Superb Style!
Nice to see so many great faces in attendance - the Peart brothers and Wooster are definitely ones to look out for.
I could watch a video on solely the hand gestures that took place at this dinner table.
Check that, it's Cecil Gant.
yes it is, hes a designer too -.-
Thanks for the class fellows

Oww this is looking sooo good!!
Much love from the Netherlands,
Amin from Trashness (you're like a god to us)
That this could happen in my life time... Having been to Florence 4 times I know this restaurant... maybe next year I'll get the nod :)
Wooster - worst dressed, as usual...
Really, really, really nice! Thanks for this Scott :)
Pure dopeness.
Could you tell me which camera you used to shoot this video? Amazing!
I could swear I just saw John Malkovich drinking wine.
1:10 Malkovich!
Love it....

Elegance in spades! I swooned a little bit.
A guest list in attendance would be nice.
Attitude....style...gallardía....Sprezzatura!
Mucho estilo y camaradería
Se puede apreciar que mas allá del color, el estilo individual prevalece.
La comida con mas clase que he visto en mi vida
Someday I will be able to join the ranks of the well dressed. In time, in time.
The man on the right at 2:08 is Michael Bastian.
Anyone know what languages they speak? Very curious...
That's Justin O'Shea mate, He is the head buyer for MyTheresa. And yes you can combine tattoos & class. He has tons of it x
분위기 짱 좋아... 나도 언젠가 저들 같은 사람이 되야지
yup, definitely Malkovich @1:10!
Who's the natty fella in the stingy brim that first appears in the foreground at 0.38 - 0.42? I'm sure I saw him on Savile Row yesterday.
It’s a pity they did not capture the color of that scene
people's interaction is amazing :)
Perfect World

This cover version is by Roosevelt Sykes, the YT listing is wrong.
Make that benevolent gentleman dinner 26 next time Scott, I want an invite.
this is the paradisse
Old jazz standard, "I Wonder", though I'm not sure who's doing it.
How the F I ended up here and what the F I've just watched I have no idea......
But I enjoyed just watching it.
lovely

Is that John Malkovich at 1:10?
Given the title, what did you expect to see ?
and in my opinion, this video is straight stuntin'
Why is colour not also an important component of personal style?
I want to know who are they at 0:38 the two black guy?
i feel you man. Im sorry people comment on you in a negative way ( i have not been made fun of and unfortunately my parents support my dressing style.) Spot on!
Cecil Gant - I Wonder
It says so in the description.
What is the name of the background song?
can someone tell me which song is played in the background? tks !
Great song. Cecil Gant "I wonder"
God damn, the seems like the most beautiful men in the world!! I want to be there!!
Yeah, I was expecting him too.
Needs more Wooster.
2:15 Malkovich Malkovich?
Is that him?
What song is this?
Élégance! !
what is the song playing please?
Anyone knows who is the man at 2:19?
Ballin
Bellissimo senza dubbio!!!!
spot the cheeky john malkovich
"I Wonder" - Cecil Grant
Indeed
PIERCE BROSNAN?????????
I guess this is exactly the intention.
i think this video is more representative of style, not fashion, and hence why its in black and white.
it would be well appreciated if you had a dinner with both men and women...
My invitation got lost in the mail... again
thanks man.
2:45 ok, the guy in the middle obviously likes to hang with the boys ;)
Pitti peacocks in black and white? Come on! GIve us the colour version!
So excited...I spelled wrong. (THEY) lol
Ciao Luca!!
I thought the same.
Приятно посмотреть :)
That's theclassyissue
Dang it! I still can't do it right! SEEM. * sigh*. Don't drink & type, I guess.
❤️
You are right but the fit is way more important.
Haha, I believe you can change your vote. But, no worries, it's UA-cam. :)
john malkovich at 1:09 =)
How is there not a single woman at the table?
Because it’s a man’s meeting. Get over it
FOMO boiling over.
@TheDemigawd Cheers to you! Not everyone will understand why you dress like you do but oh well. Life is too short so stay classy!
when you look like a million dollars though, are you even allowed to talk about mundane stuff? ;-)
