Great video! Cavani is obviously one of the best when it comes to movement but I think Mario Gomez also deserves a shout, how he anticipated and moved in the box was very impressive. He is for me also a very underrated player because you almost never hear people talk about him but he was one of the best strikers in the world at his prime. Got 25+ CL goals, top scorer euros 2012, 10+ goals in a single CL campaign etc..

He also had plenty of long range goals, he had trivella goals, dribbling goals, volleys, his general playmaking too was full of flair. I agree he gravitated to the finesse, and Suarez was an all round better finisher maybe, but Henry had tons of inventiveness. His 2 biggest strengths was his physical power+flair.

AM i the only one who always notices a lack of Raul mentions from videos/topics like these?? Like i am so confused...Raul was one of the greatest players i have seen. Guy was elegant , technical, high iq and so good. Cultured 10/10. Woah easy on the Halland praise prior to the prem a lot of his goals came running through on goal. In the prem generally his physical stature aids him against the weaker defenders in the box. When he's matched up against stronger intelligent defenders he can't get free in the box. Your vastly over rating his movement. However he is still a great striker

When he faces intelligent and strong defenders that can both track and manipulate space and his actions, his movement looks ordinary. I don't like comparing eras but halland against 00's defenders (who were just as big and physical but far superior interms of defensive acumen to today's average defender) would score goals but not at his current clip

AM i the only one who always notices a lack of Raul mentions from videos/topics like these?? Like i am so confused...Raul was one of the greatest players i have seen. Guy was elegant , technical, high iq and so good. Cultured 10/10. Its even more surprising considering there are so many mentions of villa and Torress...when Raul was three times the player both of them were. Especially Lyes, i dont think he rates Raul much for some reason but he rates toress and villa very highly. idk its just something i noticed..Raul is actually so underratedman when we talk about all timers..also he is far better than van persie too

For me Benzema and Suarez came to my mind when it comes to heading but Drogba was cold.
benzema was one of my favorite players but headers wasnt his specialty, although he was good at them. from setpieces he was basically 0 off the top of my head

Woah easy on the Halland praise prior to the prem a lot of his goals came running through on goal. In the prem generally his physical stature aids him against the weaker defenders in the box. When he's matched up against stronger intelligent defenders he can't get free in the box. Your vastly over rating his movement. However he is still a great striker

@thetruth4654 I'm not disputing his strike rate, the issue I have is with the value you put on his movement particularly in and around the box with less space. When he faces intelligent and strong defenders that can both track and manipulate space and his actions, his movement looks ordinary.
I don't like comparing eras but halland against 00's defenders (who were just as big and physical but far superior interms of defensive acumen to today's average defender) would score goals but not at his current clip
