- Here is a small clip from my father, Jerry Savelle’s, memorial service this past Friday. Words cannot fully express how much my dad meant to me or how much I love him, but here are a few funny stories and some of the things I have learned from him over the years.
I hope that this tribute not only honors his memory but also inspires you to live your life with the same integrity, strength, and passion that he demonstrated every day. Thank you for sharing in this celebration of my dad's life. Your prayers and support continue to comfort us during this time.

You know when my mum passed I found a painted rock whilst cleaning her room at the nursing home. It read ITS OK TO CRY.

I'd just begun to appreciate your dad's influence in your life when he passed away! My heart aches for you knowing how integral he was to you becoming who you are now and I can only imagine the pain of losing him. What glory your eulogy brought to Jesus’ Name with what you shared about the anointing in a name and - His Name, Jesus, above all names and sharing about your “miracle fingers” testimony.
Terri, I lost my beloved Daddy when I was 17 and understand the grief you are feeling in those moments when you just want to see his face or hear his voice…I’m so sorry. Hugs to you and my condolences.

Terri, I just started listening to you about two weeks ago. Hadn’t heard of you before, but really needed what you said and kept listening. Because of you, I’ve also been listening to your dad. That’s a legacy in and of itself.
See, I was brought up in the word of faith movement in the eighties but my dad didn’t continue the walk. He was anointed but fell into deep sin and our family exploded. I fell away at age 13 but came back at 22…and kept to “safer” ways of interpreting scripture, skittish, shying away from anything like what had built up my dad’s short, powerful, faith-filled moment in the Son. That was to my detriment, I see now. For 25+ years I have been denying my spirit the empowering rocket fuel of the teachers that I needed to thrive. I think that’s why I’ve grown in fits and starts instead of steady advancement.
The Lord has called me to so much more!
Well, that deprivation is over. Because of your dad’s teachings I am diving right back into the deep end of believing in the covenant promises of prosperity, faith to faith and glory to glory kind of trajectory … and you can bet I’ll be listening to you, too.
Thank you for being a cheerleader for dreams. Your dad stayed in there and cheered you on. Keep sharing what he passed on to you with those of us whose dads didn’t, please. We are more than overcomers, but we need more boosts to remember it 🔥
