I love music that sounds like this. I feel like this kind of music should be categorized in a genre called ethereal.
There isn't enough music that occupies a similar realm, honestly. I'd recommend checking out Mt. Doyle, some of his mixes manage to find some similar sounds. Sorrow and Kimyan Law if you like Gali's older sound.

This album got me through something deep and forever has a special place on my heart. It's always on repeat when I have my long moody drives just drifting (especially Let Go, Redeye is what I loop the most)....
A "Renaissance Boy II" or sequel with the same mood would make my whole damn decade 🙏
A Renaissance Boy II would go so hard with this sound. Oh my lord it would be amazing. However, I expect that he'll prob do something slightly different, to be fair. But one can imagine, right haha

it's been several months later, but I still can't stop listening to this song. It just reminds me so much of summer 2020, particularly the feeling of staying indoors (bc, y'know, covid) and replaying this song when it released at midnight..then replaying it as I went grocery shopping the following morning. Redeye is very catchy with superb production, it's just so badass and cool that I thought for sure it'd be my fave from this album. But this song...there's something about this song. It feels very bittersweet and nostalgic. That part at 2:14 is so intense, honest. When I hear it, I wanna dance but, also low-key, cry?? It makes me sad for something that I didn't necessarily experience in real life. Maybe I'm overthinking it lol, but regardless, this album was one of my highlights in 2020, a happiness that was desperately needed during such a harsh year.
First time I heard Urban Flora I was blown away by the level of production it went under to result on that!! A total masterpiece!!
But, so far, Renaissance Boy is topping that x100!!! Omg!! You are an amazing specimen Galimatias!! Thanks for your music!!

@@TheShankaclause exactly! Imagine how much better Urban Flora could have been with Galimatias jumping on the tracks alongside Alina Baraz! And I mean, Alina's voice was a great choice, and I see a lot of people hating on her for not giving enough credit to Galimatias for the EP but let's be honest, the tracks are whole songs without the need of her vocals, that says a lot of the level of production Galimatias put into the album!!
GALI has proof himself when it comes to vocals as well! So I'm super hyped up about this album!! ❤️❤️
*quick update, I just found out that the male vocals and sound effects in the Urban Flora EP were from Galimatias himself.
@@borregopassions It could have been dope but imo I think having Alina do all the vocals allowed him to focus solely on the production. I've noticed that in Urban Flora tracks there are more nuances than the 2 tracks from this new project thus far. Although im sure other tracks from this project also have incredible production moments
