This is a type of album that I would never ever expect from Skies to release for real. As a true fan ( I was in the 0.001 in 2021 ) I know all of the songs he made no matter if it is a unreleased one or even a freestyle. He used to talk about real things such as his struggle to live, his passion to become famous and affect millions in a benefical aspect and so on. However, in this album, I cannot see the real skies. I’ve heard a lot of drug related sentences which worries me a lot and all of the beats are so wild like you can hardly even hear what he says. When I remember songs like cloudy skies, clique or I, I can clearly tell that there is a massive difference between them and new ones. It just doesn’t feel the same. The tone of his voice, music videos, lyrics, beats so pretty much everything. And I believe that it is something related to the change of skies himself. So sad to see a musician who once was my favorite fall out like that.
He still has a lot of great unreleased snippets like Gone in the Wind, Candy Rain, Ganja, Through the Vines to release. I’m not sure if he’s dropping any of these. I do agree, big change in his music, probably the lean and other drugs.
@@Sadjhjit is sad because they’ll probably remain as snippets for years. I do not know how or why but everytime he picks his most shity ass song and relesases it for no reason. He announced LOADR2 and he even did a survey regarding it on instagram to see if people are hyped about it or not but at the end. That’s what we are left with. An unexpected album without any features in it. Not even landon cube. I actually understood that he was going to fall out when he made songs with some people that I haven’t heard of. For some time, he has been doing this job for money and not beacuse he likes it i guess
@@Ki-yf9yl Yeah he stated he’s doing it for his son unless I heard it wrong, but he does songs with smaller artists if he likes their music. I don’t think he chooses the worse songs but there are definitely better ones he could release.
This album was trash, the flow is all off Thousands is the only fire song Most other songs on the EP sound beginner as hell with cliche bars and I love Lil Skies
I don’t like any of them except drank talk, even drank talk, there all 80% croaky monotone type voice with some effort in the voice, and yes the bars are so basic aswell
this will grow on people.
