You missed a crucial part of the endgame combo. Activate Mirrorjade, sending Brigrand to the GY, then you can negate Mirrorjade with Rindbrumm so you don't have to banish a card on the field. You can also use MJ's effect next turn since it was negated this turn. Brigrand can then search for your second Mercourier in the EP for an additional monster negate. Rindbrumm can also bounce back the Bystial Lubellion for follow up if you want it to. Another thing is, you don't necessarily need to go into Lubellion and then Mirrorjade, with Branded in White you can go straight to Mirrorjade with banishing Albaz from deck and sending Guignol from the field to the GY. Guignol has the same effect in the GY as on the field so you don't lose your interraction, since White only banishes materials from the GY and not the field. There are situations where you'd rather go into Lubellion first though; for example if you have an Albaz in hand you'd want to discard it so you have an Albaz in the GY for Rindbrumm's second effect to special either itself or an Albaz from GY. Also with 7 light monsters and only 2 monsters that benefit from banishing in your entire deck (1 tragedy and 1 merc since you need the 2nd), and also with the incredibly low chance that you'll hard draw Regained Allure is just not a good option imo. You'd not want to banish an Albaz while running 2, your one copy of Ad Lib or a Saronir since you need its GY effect. Run more starters like Foolish (which can get a Saronir in grave as well as your standard access to Aluber) and Gold Sarc (which gets you access to Cartesia as well as Aluber) instead.
Sorry, the combo portion i did stumble over my words a bit and it probably wasnt clear enough, but i don't like to negate MJ with Rind because Rind is a "when" effect meaning if your opponent responds to MJ, Rind will miss timing and ill be forced to banish something. With this deck gaining a lot of popularity, you'll find yourself facing off with opponents that know the ins and outs of the deck, meaning theyll likely hold an interruption for that exact interaction. I like to make Lubellion instead of going straight into MJ because shuffling Albaz back into the deck is key for the grind game, and seeing as a lot of people are main decking blowout cards its likely your board will get cracked, so youll have to anticipate two to three turns ahead. I love your reasoning for allure because its very similar to my original approach to the card. However, what sets it aside from Foolish and Gold Sarc is the fact that it lets me dig deeper into the deck. Now more than ever, seeing your side deck is crucial, especially in the Kash match up. But i will definitely start testing without it (likely replacing it with 2 Thrust and 1 Talents) and I'll make sure to update UA-cam on my success (or failures lol).
@@YGOHouse solid reasoning tbh, appreciate the response! I am playing triple Albaz so the discard wasn't always worth it with my testing, but I can see Lubellion being pseudo-mandatory in a 2 Albaz version. As for the MJ effect, there aren't many interruptions going second that are worth keeping for so long in the combo imo. All the popular Handtraps amd Bystials would have had better use at that point. And worst case scenario, you can leave a Bystial Lubellion on the field and you can kinda safely banish him since you play 2-3 in the deck and have lots of ways to access him. As for Allure, it's a very hit or miss card. Even in the previous format I replaced it with Prosperity for digging deeper. Sadly with our current ED you just can't afford to do that.
No way, x3 Albaz is a must. If a copy is hit, you're relying on only one and sometimes that get's really hairy. Secondly, he's essentially a walking super poly. I literally use him to break boards. Kit is honestly a brick imo b/c of redundancy, he can fix hands, OK but later on he really doesn't do anything that other things can't already do. I don't run him but have kept a copy just in case he becomes a must.
I just love the fact that you play dark magician is literally months that I’ve been testing with him andi I really don’t understand why people shouldn’t play him now he is dark is a spellcaster it can be foolish by granguignol is just awful the interaction he have with the deck
If you have Albion shrouded dragon in GY, activate it's eff, send Branded in white (cost) to the GY to return Albion to the bottom of the deck.... During the end phase, does branded in white eff to return to hand can be activated?
I would prefere using albaz from gy and guignol from field to directly make jade. Yes you dont have both albaz back in the deck but you dont discard, and guignol in gy is better than on field, for example if the opponent uses drnm or eclipse.
Do you think Tasking and the absence of Tearlaments will be enough to push Bystials out of the super splashable spot they were in?? That's the only thing stopping me from doing the combo that way. The new format is very young, its hard to make these sorts of theory calls before we really get a chance to see the meta stabilize.
Oh I see the dark magician now yeah you branded fusion send it and albaz for lubelion discard shuffle back albaz or any dark dragon and dark magician to make it
Branded Fusion, dump Lubellion and Dark Magician to make Lubellion. Lubellion effect, shuffling back Dark Magician and Albaz or itself to make Dragoon.
That's what I used to think until I been playing the deck. It's a 4th aluber, 90% of the time free extender if you get stopped. And another lost/mercourier target when you've gone thru a lot of resources or don't want to grab Albion. You should honestly try, I have came to love the card. Just except the put one back effect but that's negligible
Who tf is running super poly this format, that card is terrible lmaooo. What matchup would super poly work in other than the mirror? And one dark magician makes it a bad deck? You’re tweaking, just looking for something negative to say
I love the Dark Magician into dragoon combo but hex seal let’s you go into Albion and dragoon. Which expands you’re following combos even further
He wants to pop things
@@monterasta47 lmfaooo yes i do enjoy popping things.
No es necesario es un estorbo
How do you not have more views? Great video! 👍
much appreciated!!
Why is no one talking about the Luigi mansion music that game was a 10/10
My only compaint is that you didn't use the Arkana/Pandora artwork of Dark Magician 😅 it fits the Branded Despia theme much better lol
ooo i might just have to take your advice, but i just love the pose he's hitting on the art i used.

What do you think about adding edge imp chain?
Good budget option if you can't afford the Bystial Lubellions. Besides being a plus 1, I'm not a big fan of the package for the post PHHY build.

it's so broken!! I dont think anyone will be surprised when it happens.
It will get hit because the new support will make it better
They can’t have the last of the best fusion deck go untouched especially if you look at the ocg
Hero’s don’t come close this deck in terms on consistency and power.
Kit is completely unnecessary. Might as well run another tragedia

@312desolation and you don’t think people are playing around it? Why run that over other board breakers that hit every matchup?
