I just saw one at the last one - the Caravan ATS from Kingdom Camping RV in Millersville, IA and their unit offered more, for less, imo. Especially for going off-grid while off-road.
That is impressive!!! That storage in the back was a very cool surprise, I kept guessing what is that until he said. Glad your enjoying your trip to my home state.
For anyone watching, don't deflate your trailer tires off road. Keep them solid. You will turn your trailer into more of an anchor than it already is. Deflated trailer tires increase rolling resistance. Deflated vehicle tires increase contact surface of wheels that supply actual traction.
I was wondering about that. I'm familiar with airing down the truck tires - I would have thought that the QD for the air line would be located near the tongue to more easily reach those.
Unless you’re on the beach. You absolutely want to deflate all tires on the tv and the trailer on deep sand. Learned the hard way. Otherwise your trailer will dig right in.
I disagree. Unless you’re towing with an engine that strains to pull this thing, the extra rolling resistance is negligible. I’d rather air down and give the tires the flexibility to handle rough terrain.

Overland Expo East is at Arrington, VA this week, Oct 7-9. My favorites, the Kimberly Kruiser series, will be there. It is not American made, and while the top-end T-class model is luxuriously expensive (well north of $150K) , it can carry 98 gallons of water, has no need for a black tank, and can be equipped with a small washing machine.
this is great. Looks solid and made in usa. Love the rugged looking outside with the green inside and everything you can think of on exterior and interior. can't wait to see it in person.
You are right about they Irving the Australians a run for their money. White this one is not at the same pricepoint, it makes me remember the Bruder. This 20.3 is great. With that big fridge and 75 gals of fresh water, people could boondock for 3 weeks if there a dump facility nearby. I watched the RV Miles video and he showdased the 20.2. I assume it will be a separate video on this channel. The 20.2 is perfect for outdoorsmen. Two locking doors and options for a combination of fishing rod holders and/or long gun rack and it will be perfect. The outside kitchen is impressive too. From the RV Miles video I heard they will have a bunkhouse version too. I really like that these are rugged but you will not miss the home comforts. If you can get some specs, please post them at the beginning of the video like Josh the RV nerd. Most of a potential buyers considerations can be addressed in a spec sheet.
All I can say is: That’s Freaking Awesome ‼️ Thanks for sharing… If I’m ever in the market for an Over-landing Rv… This one won’t be overlooked…. A+ Pause.!!!
Soo unless the trailer blows over .. w/ hurricane winds .. you’re fine parking & sleeping by a bottom of a cliff.. (where rocks may fall down on the trailer). .
Rivited aluminium frame will go to shit off road specially that A-frame, would've been better off with a 2"x2" box section frame then 6"x3" A-frame that runs down to the suspension and you will have the same ground clearance and a wider frame. Those "rock sliders" that sit higher then the frame and the wheels and wheel archbsit further out means that will do sweet F/A apart from take up payload. The propane bottles are tougher then that van but you put them behind a thin sheet of alloy to be pelted by rocks...cool. Look at the black series frame vs this frame and look at the inside width compared to this due to this rv having the wheels outside of the frame marking the inside alot skinnier. Those axles won't last on corrugations due to the axles being bolted to the suspension arms, there is a reason us aussies have a fully welded swing arm/axle stub. That much storage on the rear of the RV is asking for sway due to being rear heavy. Black series aren't that popular in the AUS for being offroad compared to other brands (zone RV, titanium, JB caravans, Vacationer, and many others) This reaks of americans trying to one up Australian ingenuity but failing to meet the mark by alot to be form over function.
I’ve seen some overland trailers reaching up to $160,000.00 so it’s no surprise this one would be in the $100,000.00 range. These companies continue to raise the bar.

I was really liking the trailer until I saw the inside and in particular the bed. There is no way of installing a better mattress as it folds over. Same reason I hate Murphy beds. I was also surprised at how little room there was. There is virtually no place to actually work in there. I get rid of the larger fridge and have more space. But it’s the bed that made it the absolute no go for me. Also the question that I would have is that if everything works off of the Garman pad and it needs Wi-Fi if you’re out in the middle of nowhere and there is no cell signal. It will be very interesting to see how they develop their product line.
It's nice to see a manufacturer step outside the box and do things a lite differently. Most of them just see what the competition is doing and then rip off the design. Let's face it, it's a box. There are only so many layouts you can have in a rectangle. There's no doubt that this one will be very pricey, and they probably don't expect to sell a bunch of them, but it gives them something where they don't have to get cheap to compete with every other manufacturer. Absolutely wonderful use of outdoor space.
I really like this trailer. American made is good! As cool as the Australian, China trailer is the fact that it’s made in China is a deal killer. They really have ticked every box!
Agree. I'm surprised at how many adventure trailers that have Chinese manufacturing. The brands using China never seem to advertise that. I have found that if a manufacturer doesn't mention build location, it is probably made in China.
If they made a basic structure for the bed of a pickup truck with that material (and built in rails for installing large solar panels on top). An over cab bed, windows, motion sensor lights n cameras that double as security. I think Id have gone with a deeper and rectangular kitchen sink with a board over for cutting/counter space. I agree with others, go smaller on bathroom sink for more storage. *Maybe have a mini pull out - tall deep but narrow (like they have in kitchens for canned goods?) But small scale for a 'medicine chest'? Easier to access than trying to find stuff in deep dark cabinets in a corner behind a toilet. Especially hard for us verically challenged! 😉
Could use some help inside with window in back and sound buffing inside so your not talking in a cave. The back needs a spare and roof need some racks for ATV’s 👍

76 gallon water tank, 30 gallon black & 30 gallon grey tanks! 20’ body length, a little over 7000 dry weight/8400 gvwr
this is great.
All I can say is:
That’s Freaking Awesome ‼️
Thanks for sharing…
If I’m ever in the market for an Over-landing Rv… This one won’t be overlooked…. A+ Pause.!!!
damn. That is coool. holy. !! this may be my dream trailer. .
Soo unless the trailer blows over .. w/ hurricane winds .. you’re fine parking & sleeping by a bottom of a cliff.. (where rocks may fall down on the trailer). .
Is the outdoor kitchen under the awning? If not then they missed the mark….
Black series aren't that popular in the AUS for being offroad compared to other brands (zone RV, titanium, JB caravans, Vacationer, and many others)
This reaks of americans trying to one up Australian ingenuity but failing to meet the mark by alot to be form over function.
This unit is the overlanders ritz!!!! Homerun for forrest river!!
Finally they're starting to do it in the US!
I’ve seen some overland trailers reaching up to $160,000.00 so it’s no surprise this one would be in the $100,000.00 range. These companies continue to raise the bar.
I think the x195 is like $200k !? And the Bruder exp8 is $187k
130,000
Game changer truly.
That is a wow but to why i'm commenting. JD you my man need to put that Super Man cape on sir, we all are in awe of you, fly up here to Detwa cover the auto show have a heart attack, head home, have a few stints installed .head up to Elkhart for the RV show, make it back to Texas for the State Fair and do your usual professional thing , Interview Andre & Nathan at the end of the show, dude they say things are bigger in Texas but there aint none bigger than you except possibly Mrs JD, Have you given her a heart attack yet, she must be a gem, take care. Doug

7000lbs!! 😮 surprisingly heavy for that little trailer. Takes it out of most half tons when loaded up
Quality ain’t light bud.
Awesome overlander trailer. You need to evaluate this one for sure.
100% love this! But it's more glamperlander than overlander.
This may be my next unit it looks amazing can’t wait for them to be available
Love it.. I need one that sleeps 4!
I would love one of those behind my Defender
It's nice to see a manufacturer step outside the box and do things a lite differently. Most of them just see what the competition is doing and then rip off the design. Let's face it, it's a box. There are only so many layouts you can have in a rectangle.
There's no doubt that this one will be very pricey, and they probably don't expect to sell a bunch of them, but it gives them something where they don't have to get cheap to compete with every other manufacturer.
Absolutely wonderful use of outdoor space.
I love it. Its perfect! Love love love the outside kitchen
Awesome ! I would love to own this one, it definitely caught my eye !
I need a bunk house like this I find these are only fro couples and a dog but never for a wife and 3-4 kids. 😢
Disregard my question. Found it ... these are 26 ft length. Upcoming ones are 22 ft and 26 ft again, but different layout.
No link to the web site for the other floor plans??? Thanks for showing the under belly.
Look at the Roamer X - it's off grid, off road AND SEAMLESS trailer built in the United States.
14:14 Damn. You took the words out of my mouth too!!! 😎.
Love it except would rather have slimmer fridge with slide-out pantry next to it
