When you walk into a Uniqlo store, their clothes are affordable, and their store design is clean that you don't feel like you're in a cheap place. Meanwhile, walking into an Old Navy store, it's absolute chaos, the floor is gross, and it's dim. A contrast to Uniqlo's clean stores with faux-hardwood floors and bright lights.

The thing I love about them is that it’s good quality while staying affordable. I mostly stick with them for my essential pieces like blank oversized Tees, there sweaters are nice too. They aren’t chasing trends but are still putting out “in style” staples that you’ll likely have in your closet for a long while
Aside from jackets, suits, and jeans, about 90% of my clothes are from Uniqlo. They're great.

I like that they tend toward a modern basic aesthetic. Zara gives a European flair and H & M is in the middle. Bravo Uniglo. They are poised to change retail even more as we go toward more a Star Trekian future.
Uniqlo is the only clothing site i visit frequently to see what's new lol. Even after leaving nyc, i still seek out Uniqlo (either on the site or poshmark) bc i just trust the quality and i generally feel safe ordering the same size every time
Honestly, Uniqlo probably makes up atleast 50% of my closet, I have never been disappointed in anything that I've bought from Uniqlo and their clothes fit me sooo much better than any other brand. As a guy with thick thighs, a ballet boy butt and a narrow waist it is almost impossible to find pants that I can pull over my thighs that aren't way too big on my waist but Uniqlo mens jeans fit me perfectly! I tend to get most of my basics and graphic tees from Uniqlo and then fill out the rest of my wardrobe with statement pieces from indie brands and thrift shops.
I’m a huge advocate for uniqlo, it’s one of the only Japanese brands that i can wear. I love their practices and how no matter who you are you can shop their and still have you’re own style. I was amped when they first came to Canada 🇨🇦

When you combine affordability with quality and great selection it's guaranteed to be a hit with everyone.
I think they should come to South Africa because Zara has been closing their stores but them.closing their stores has not ended the need for.their clothes so if Uniqlo would come i really think they would have an audience.
South Africans can barely keep Zara floating....like they can't afford it which is why some of their stores are closing

I remember getting my first Uniqlo oxford button down shirts in college, and they lasted me forever. I always liked how they focused on the everyday things more than trying to chase trends. Really tasteful lineup of collabs too. The Undercover, +J and Engineered Garments ones were so good. The Star Wars x Nigo/Tetsu Nishiyama/Jun Takahashi one for UT was cool too!
Uniqlo is clearly the number one street wear brand, now. Great collabs. Pure style. Unique pieces. I will be pleased to see a Patta x Uniqlo collab. Loool tell em.
Uniqlo great and has been a huge part of my style evolution for over 5 years. I first heard of uniqlo when I went on a trip to China and that kickstarted it all.

I used to live in San Francisco where there were 2 Uniqlo stores! I miss it so much but I'm now back to my tiny hometown where there's literally no chance of a Uniqlo store opening. Atleast their website often has free shipping and the measurements/sizing is always spot on.
When u got like more than 20 in your city, u definitely wish less uniqlo and more shops like Carhartt or Stussy....

I'm a big person and whenever I start to wear brand new jeans, it turns into trash in a year. It's been 2.5 years and most of the time, I'm wearing my Uniqlo jean and it still stands strong. I don't think I'm gonna change Uniqlo to another brand.

I buy more high fashion such as kapital, ch, miyagihidetaka, ect, but in an everyday sense, Uniqlo is unbeaten. I have a few shirts and the quality of the materials, fit, and printing is truly top-notch. match that with decent prices and the sheer longevity of the clothes and Uniqlo is one of the only large corporations that I can truly get behind.
Can't believe you mentioned the latest GU x Undercover collab but not UU (Uniqlo x Undercover collab) from 2012, which imo is one of the best Uniqlo collaborations standing just behind +J and [UU] still needs to make a return in 202X
copped some $3 jeans in Asia at GU back in 2018 and got it tailored for $4, definitely my favorite steal of all time

uniqlo is awesome. super functional clothing. i get my golf gear from there too. shits on nike and everyone else for 1/4 the price. has lasted me years. uniqlo probably the only clothes i buy that's made in china/vietnam/india. otherwise im all made in usa japan canada europe.

So far in 2021 I’m digging their offerings when it comes to tops. Their bottoms I feel like could use a bit of “catching up”. I constantly buy new shirts/jackets/sweaters because they’re always offering new cuts. Their jeans have basically been the same since I started shopping there a couple years ago 🤷🏻♂️
Their graphic tees are 🔥. And I wear their hoodies and casual bottom up shirts on the regular since they are good material and they go on sale regularly . And they lowkey since everyone in north jersey still shops at H&M,Zara’s , and Forever 21

My wardrobe basics is mostly uniqlo, for staple items like jackets or outerwear I'll usually go for something more high end/better quality. If you wear any of the Uniqlo outerwear you run the risk of wearing the same stuff as everyone else here in London, not that it's necessarily a bad thing. For example the fleece/parka/seamless down is worn by sooooo many people in most cities I'd wager

interesting, slightly changed my mind on labelling uniqlo as fast fashion.
would hope with such development that they release more basics in more unique and interesting cuts
the thing is, fast fashion caters to every single new thing consumers are wanting at that moment. uniqlo goes at its own pace, centering itself around more basic pieces, with occasional collaborations. zara and h&m copy the designers they want to capitalize on, uniqlo doesn’t.
I’ve been round a Uniqlo store and was impressed with what I saw, but I plumbed to spend my cash on Stone Island down the road, next time I’m in a store I plan on spending some cash though.
They're perfect for your basics. I know they have ubiqlo U but I wish they would expand a bit more tbh. They are still my favorite brand to shop at tho.

I’ve really slept on UNIQLO, and have always shopped elsewhere for my basics. Some of my reasoning has to do with UNIQLO’s odd website design. Maybe that shouldn’t matter. But I know it’s had an impact for me.

I have been buying uniqlo t-shirts for many years but am getting tired of the same old colors. Great quality for the price. Anything I have purchased from Uniqlo has been very good value for the cost. I wish the larger sizes would not sell out so fast.

Love UO but I do miss when the brand was low key cuz the quality was bit better imho.
Standard Uniqlo may have missed a step BUT Uniqlo U, JW Anderson, Uniqlo +J, and their sports utility line is some of the best quality Uniqlo has ever made.

Only thing I don't like about uniqlo are shirts. I'm a skinny guy so I wear a small yet I'm 5'10" so their small shirts tend to ride high. Everything else is OK for the most part but I avoid their shirts at all cost.

Frankly speaking, I don’t see much creativity or artistry in his graphics, concepts, or use of typography. If anyone can explain his popularity, I’d appreciate it. 2) How does UNIQLO use artificial intelligence? 3) As mentioned in the video, UNIQLO's styles are mostly basic. How does UNIQLO differ from what I’ll find at the Gap?

Uniqlo absolutely sucks now. Don't believe me? Check their size charts, go home and measure your garment. It won't be close.
Context, I'm 6'6 tall (2 meters for the rest of the world) and dudes like Reggie, and Tim Desaint are always repping and praising Uniqlo for precision cuts and perfect fits. I started shopping at uniqlo when I first went to Japan in like 2008, long before they were in any stores in America. I loved their stuff, fits were exactly what you'd expect, quality seemed premium (Still have one shirt from there that fits like a glove) but lately, QC, Customer service, and sizing have taken a MAJOR DIVE. Uniqlo is literally making garments smaller than they label to cut cost. I've written back and forth with their Customer Service reps who are all in high spirits but literally have no idea whats going on. I'm not knocking the people that work there and bust their asses to get us a t-shirt in the mail, but the major corporations who choose to fuck over the consumer. Compare a parka from 2014 (which used to be 39.99) to the parkas they put out this past winter (79.99 - 129.99) and they're cheaper, thinner, smaller, and ill fitting. Let's stop hyping Uniqlo, and hold them accountable for there shit Reggie.

I’m just an information guy. The hype comes from the data and facts. What’s funny is I don’t really shop at Uniqlo myself outside of a few things from +J and undergarments. So I have to take your opinion just as seriously as anyone else. If you had a bad experience that sucks and people should definitely consider it IF they are giving their opinion on it. I like some Uniqlo stuff but like I said before my position is one of data and facts above all else. At least in this particular series of videos. ~Reggie
