Honestly though . I’ve lived in California my whole life . I am 36 yes now and I don’t really get surprised anymore when earthquakes happen and I am not getting why people who say they are from Cali yet they act like it’s the first earthquake they’ve experienced?!?

@@Lulusvideos1 ~ Good for you! Here in the Bay Area, I constantly urge my friends and neighbors to prepare, in case. Many think it's just not going to happen in their lifetime so they won't take it seriously. It may or may not, but it's common sense to be ready.

I think it depends on the depth of the earthquake as to how much you can feel the shaking in correlation go it's Richter scale rating.

In my country there is a standard protocol for all newscasters to follow when there is an earthquake on air to calmly remind the viewers what to do and communicate the relevant information in a calm and efficient manner. I feel a bit surprised that in California they don't train their anchorpeople in such a routine for when there is an earthquake.

When people ask me why I left California and moved to Wisconsin, this is why. Earthquakes are a rarity here lol.
I have lived in California for 72 years and have never had an earthquake cause damage to my property. It is just not an issue. However, the most significant earthquake I remember was the World Series earthquake of 1989.
