Yasser is undoubtedly not only the most professional commentator but the most fun one to listen to.
And for us insomniacs, the lowkey ASMR

Agree 💯
MAGNUS IS JUST A BEAST!!
This is mental 🔥🔥. Magnus wins 10 blitz games in a row over the board against top youngsters
Problem is they're too young. They have a while to go before they're at their best, and get a bit more experience, amazing young stars for sure. Magnus is an absolute beast though, it's scary. Magnus is the best player by far right now. It will likely be a while before he has a definite successor to him.
Magnus will always be at the top till he retires. and even then nobody comes close. he's right there as the GOAT
Wei Yi came close. He scored 25.5 vs Magnus 26.0. And Wei Yi is only 24. In a few more years, who knows ?
@@elimlinrr6898 dont forget magnus is getting older too
@@elimlinrr6898 24yo is not that young in chess, and at that age Magnus was already in the goat conversation.
@@AdiStarcPvPBesides, Magnus plays two tournaments in one day.
@@elimlinrr6898dumbass, hes saying in general
What happened to all of the younger players! They ran into the King!
as always, grateful to live in the magnus era and able to witness his mastery/sorcery in the present. congrats goat ♥
10 games in a row should just be called the Magnus.
It's bizarre how satisfying witnessing pure dominance in a particular field is.
Wei Yi may have lost but I'm impressed with his performance.
magnus goat but wei yi has always been super strong, he just wasn't active. nobody talks about it but he has won the game of the century (against lazaro bruzon 2015)
Gukesh played well, but I am impressed by magnus
Also congratulations to Wei Yi! Outstanding performance!
Always magnus strikes at the end...😂
I always enjoy with Yasser as commentator ...he is the best for that ...hope every big tournament they invite him
I don't have words to describe this man, literally the greatest of all times.
When i saw magnus being extremely disappointed in his performance yesterday I knew everyone was cooked 🔥
He's like Incredible Hulk. Don't make him angry 😂
His competitive spirit is one of the things that separates him. How often have see seen him come from behind like this? You expect it now.
Good day! Warm greetings from the city of Santa Monica, CA, USA! Let’s go Praggnanandhaa!
Jovanka Houska is a breath of fresh air. She really understands these position and is so knowledgeable. One of my fav commentators.
She fits in great because she understands her role and limitations. But she can't even differentiate Pirc from KID (when Black had a knight on c6 and Yasser correctly called it an odd reverse Pirc for White).
Down boy, down boy!
@@VincentSmith-zs3ep 🤣. No I’m serious. She seems to have a very good understanding of the games and positions as she is commentating.
@@myopenmind527 Yes, agreed. She's a lovely lady. Easy on the eye helps as well.
Tanya Sachdev has a thing or two to learn from this lovely lady! Jovanka ftw
You should definitely put the bar next to the small digital board when players are on the main screen. It helps the average viewer to understand what's happening on the board and increases intensity of emotions.
im not a chess player , i know the moves but the commentary was enjoyable , i was able to follow along somewhat and really enjoyed the excitement they displayed with some of the moves. tom
Magnus will win it all. He’s just too good. There is nothing the rest can do..we can just watch him win 🤷🏽♀️ Gukesh coming last is worrying- remember Ding won the WCs during tiebreaks …Ding was strong in that format too but Gukesh is very weak in Rapid and Blitz. So in case the WCs this year go to tiebreaks then it’s going to be a tough one for Gukesh
King Magnus!
Magnus is a genius. How he came back to top the list is unbelievable!
Amazing games, especially that blunderfest between Wei Yi and Prag 😂 it really shows just how dangerous time trouble can be even for the best players.
GOAT 🐐
You all were genious, and the crew too! ❤️
I dont know what to do with my life after this concluded
Respect for the GOAT
Magnus is a supercomputer 🔥
magnus reminds of kasparov both are very compettivte
🐐🐐🐐
Glad to see Wei Yi joining the world elite after quite a few years of struggle. Love his playing style too!
wasn't really a struggle, he was on hiatus due to university.
This loosing and making a comeback is becoming habitual for Magnus now.

All the best 🙂
I'm glad I predicted Magnus would win the tournament! Congratulations!!
Magnus 🐐
magnus 👍👍👍
He always does trail and error at the start of the tournament and wins all the games at the end to makeup
that fork was insane against wei yi
Everybody plays chess, but Magnus wins.

You cannot use engine to check blitz game and say the player make mistake, mistake, mistake.

Gukesh came in last and challenges for the WC. Speaks so much for the WC tournament.
Johvanka hates carlsen haha but does nothing matters
Pragg is the feature champion⭐
Glazin
Guys what is gct points that prag got 7
So this whole thing is a part of grand chess tour. So basically players play a ton of tournaments in this tour and based on performance in each tournament they earn grand chess tour points. The last tournament, the person who has gained the most points wins around 200k
Corona stop that get away
Goat will always be the GOAT.....
But Indians are soon going to be at the Top
Like Flukesh?
@@SR-fs2fd 17yo Gukesh > 17yo Carlsen

@@SR-fs2fd Go and play with him then comment like this
How the hell did Magnus win?? Or how the hell didn’t Wi win???
Not having even a chance to see fight for the 3rd place, where Polish Duda played - in Warsaw the host city(!!), while Wei Yi had zero chance after Carlsen's draw - is to me totally disrespectful and shame. They just indicate the fact, but I if it was US player from for example Armenia, they'd show most probably the hole game. 3rd place means nothing it seems.

Rrr! Unwatchable coverage of rapid chess as usual. You said you were going to 'focus on' games! To me that means literally sticking to a decent camera position of the board and clocks and following the game in its entirety.
Great view of the board of Gukesh v Yi up until 12:02, but after that I switched off. Can you NOT switch screens for your analysis, just put insets in the corners if you want to do hypothetical lines / analysis etc? It's really important in rapid and blitz to keep the camera focus on the board continuously, because time is such a central element. Because when we return to the physical board at 20:10 it's changed out of all recognition, and the action is missed.
Can you imagine panning away in the middle of a tennis match for 8 minutes while commentators discuss and hypothesise? And when do you ever see the commentators faces during a tennis match? Never.
Please do better in the next tournament.
Flukesh cannot become the world champion with a performance like that. Ding needs to save chess from mediocrity.
The fact that you chose to write that shows you haven’t reached mediocre in your own life.
You clearly haven’t achieved being even mediocre in your own life
The betting company shoving their face in chess after all other popular sports to make even more profit from an addiction. Besides that, because they pay for it, they have the ability to control the outcomes. Who the hell is that dude? What are his links with chess? Does he even know an opening or what en-passant means? Man, you're in this business to kill people and take their money, get the f out.
I don't think we need Anastasia here, and she does not fit in analyzing games
These commentators put me to sleep
Magnus pi$$ed on candidates winner🤣
is this tournament over or there are few more days??
Typical 400 elo comment
@@AtulRawat-sf2lw Over, Thanos won!
this is rapid & blitz. Gukesh won the candidates in classical chess.
@@SergheyKatastrofenko Thank you for clearing that up, i'm sure no one knew that.
Never want to hear this woman again
The young gen all need to learn the end game. Nothhing about Magnus. He makes so many mistakes and proper players would have punsihed him. Many games were given away. Silly. Wei is the real winner for me.
Guess it's because studying the endgame is very boring,,most players don't like it
Cry
If there's an evaluation bar in Garry's time, it would've been swinging like crazy. Humans make mistakes and that's why it's thrilling to watch.
Real winner but didn’t won?
what kind of logic is that🤣they all played the same opponents.. if the youngsters were better, wei would not have been able to escape so many lost positions. and magnus on the other hand did not have a single lost position that day. it's so blatantly clear who played better.
KASPAROV > CARLSEN
Not sure about that.
no, plus carlsen is best speedchess player ever
Nahhhhh
In your dreams😂
