    Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future.., I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life!!

      Starting early is simply the best way of getting ahead to build wealth , investing remains a priority . I learnt from my last year's experience , I am able to build a suitable life beause I invested early ahead this time .

      It’s precisely at times like these that investors need to be on guard against the next certainty. You don’t have to act on every forecast, hence i will suggest you get yourself a financial-advisor that can provide you with entry and exit points on the shares/ETF you focus on.

    This is like a, I can relate video, My relationship of 8 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her

    the loops of expectation…
    I’m so glad you spoke on this topic because it would seem like it’s a common sense thing to not get caught up in the gratification of pleasing others, but because it’s so easy to fall into, we don’t realize we’re in it until we’re in too deep. What a wake up call.

    I’m 17 and really struggling a lot with imposter syndrome. I’m applied for competitions and work experience programs and so much and I constantly get rejected again and again or I don’t win any competitions. Idk what to do anymore. There’s so many students out there that have accomplished so much and it makes my constantly doubt myself of whether I’ll even make it to University. I really want to do Law at University College London. But the more I look at others, then look at myself, my rejections, losing competitions, I have no more hope

      At the moment you are focussing on the very top of the top and only their successes not their failures, nobody is perfect no matter how it seems and those who get to those positions of apparent ‘perfection’ don’t get there from pure natural talent.Those who are in those positions will have got there through hardship and effort. You’re already better than 95% of people applying for unis by the fact that you are applying to these competitions and that will set you apart even if you’re not winning them. Universities are looking for people who have a deep interest in their subjects as those will be the best students, not necessarily academically, but the ones who want to do well and you’re showing that right now. So keep trying, don’t get me wrong, but what you’re doing now with the competitions is great! There will always be a bigger fish so try not to get too bogged down on how others are doing and focus on yourself and your academics as once the others are out of the picture you’ll really begin to flourish. I’m sure you’ll get a place, wishing you the best!

      I think the best way to look at it is realise that everything is perspective. Comparing yourself to others and what they’ve achieved is the thief of joy. I’m 25 and i was in your exact position when I was 17. Rejections constantly. But you have to remember, life operates on something called the Law of Averages. For every 9 rejections you encounter, that 1 might be the yes you’ve been needing. And in life, all you got to do sometimes is gain that 1 yes for your life to change. You’ve probably had 100 no’s and the next one may be a yes. Listen, if I were to tell you that you had to go through 20’rejevtions and on the 21st you’d get a yes, would you still go through it ? Of course you would, because you already know that your time to succeed will come. But In this life , we never know. But that shouldn’t stop you from keeping on consistent. Consistency is the only thing that will eventually reward you, and if you just keep going, your time will also come. This is your life , and your life only. No one should ever compare to your life because your journey is unique in itself. Keep your head up king and keep going, I promise you’ll get through this, just like you got through the other struggles in your life. I believe in you.

    Im not sure if the reason why I don’t understand the message it’s because I’m still at 1:21 or because I’m 15 and inexperienced in life or simply because I’m stupid, but if I detach from my desires, have no ambitions, won’t that make me a dead person just surviving each day with no goals? Because when you have a goal you do something in order to gain something in order to reach your goal. But if I detach myself from that, how will I succeed in life?

    • @rubyariaw
      @rubyariaw Місяць тому

As human beings we give and receive and at some point weather we may know or not, any work that you mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally put in, eventually the outcome is expected.

I feel like im the only one who values the bound between us, the time we do spend together. I am feeling really low today, i've been crying because i feel disappointed. This video made me realize it was the expectations that made me low and sad. I've been expecting some things from them. Some things that i would do ,already did, in a friendship. But everyone is different, i forgat that. Its okay to move on and meet new people but at this point i will let people be. Be the thing that they are. A lesson, a great bound that will last, whatever. I will not be expecting a lot and putting my happiness into other peoples hands. You do you and i will do me. Which is okay. Its the expectations that hurt, not people.

    I would really like to see a debate on the ideas you promote with other philosophy content creators, if that was on a podcast I'd watch it.

    Interpersonal relationship is to suffer is what I take from "other people is hell". All/most suffering is attributed to social interactions etcs.

    8:45 I feel this quote is a genuine misconception and is very generalized. Yes we can project on to others ignorantly or based on our internal world but at the same time we experience behaviors which we take away solid lessons from. The quote is somewhat dangerous imo because it leans towards an ideology like, if I am positive then others will be positive- which is incorrect - although it’s somewhat true. Thats getting into interpersonal relationship dynamics and communications which is a whole conversation on its own.
    My take away from you mentioning that quote is: you can’t control others yet you have control over yourself 😊
