I honestly want to believe the reason why The Listener gets their ass WHOOPED left and right in every one of Vit's videos is that they are a very unlucky soul that gets reincarnated over and over again, only to screw up and die young without accomplishing each life's true purpose. As a result, God took it upon himself to stop this bullshit and chose another soul as their "guardian" to save their ass in each life. Now these two poor buggers are forced to reincarnate around the same time and vicinity in each life because one of them really sucks at staying alive.
I am not going to confirm nor deny this theory as the cosmic implications of either would be catastrophic but I applaud your reasoning

Thanks, but writing requires talent which I don't have any. Even if I had, what would have been the overall plot? The book would just be a string of unfortunate lives in different centuries with nothing to connect them.

I know I would really calm down a lot if someone started to talk about their life as I was being treated, since it would distract me from thinking about the pain and the blood...
