  • Senior Counsel Roysdale Forde, in a recent podcast, discussed the negative attitudes within the People's National Congress Reform (PNCR) hindering young members.
Ford critiques the traditional mindset requiring new members to 'wait their turn' and advocates for youth leadership. Former Mayor Ubraj Narine supports Ford by sharing his own experience of gaining public office without "prior experience".
Ford urges the party to recognize the potential of young leaders, highlighting the global trend towards younger political leaders. Addressing the sidelining of young people, he calls for the party to revitalize its youth movement and change its approach to attract and empower younger members.

I agree with you Roysdale. When the new entrant is clearly demonstrating abilities to deliver he/she has to be supported. Old, failing leadership is not an asset.
