It seems satan is doing his job very well. This guy is misguided. Gives his life to Jesus as if Jesus our messiah is the Creator of existence 🙄. I'm so glad after reading these comments to know there r so many of us who are awake and are not deceived by this new age spiritualism. Praise Jesus for opening our eyes to the deceptions.
Don’t look on the outside. This guy is turning on the tears weeks and weeks after his “conversion”. Remember, Satan comes as an “angel of light”. Jesus warned that these last days would be characterized by deception. Heed that warning!
Of course, we would all love to see him saved. That does not give us reason to not be discerning, “wise as serpents”.
Not so much about being awake, but about reading the Word. Anyone who has read more than 2 pages would know that this man is not hearing from the same Spirit that inspired those writings. And if he is, then may God search my heart and show me the error if my ways. But for now I will stick to what the Word teaches and that is to test every spirit to see if they are from God. And we test by comparing what he is saying to what is written...what has been given once and for all to the saints, the Lord won't come now and give us new revelation through someone that became a Christian 5seconds ago. Even Paul spend 3 and a half years alone before he went to anyone. I sincerely hope this guy will keep searching for truth and not stop and set up camp at this new age version of it.

My only hope is that Riaan continues to grow in his walk with Christ. To find sound mentorship to help him unlearn certain things and learn the Word of God. This is a journey and many things will change as he develops.
Although there are so many things I disagree with, I am hoping that his journey leads him to Christ and ultimately Heaven. The best we can do is pray for him.

Without reading the Bible it is impossible to learn from God and having a real conversion, knowing the real sense of the evangelism, regretting sins and being healed from it, it actually is a long process (I speak from myself) and something to be built step by step while we accept to empty ourselves from our latest beliefs and than to understand what to do, let’s pray for Him to learn from God’s words and may the Holy Spirit guide him to the Truth 🙏🏻🙌🏻 This encounter with Jesus was the first step of his Salvation I’m glad he is sharing so people will be encouraged to search, “who search will find it and for those who knocks it will be open” as it is written 🙏🏻Hallelujah

I don't know what led me to this video, but I'm thankful that it found me. I'm truly weeping and feeling "knocking" at my heart. I've felt that love yet strayed away because of how fellow "Christians" treated me. Because of hurt. Trauma. Sadness overwhelms me daily. I need help, Lord. don't look at false converts, look at Jesus, read te new testament. We are saved when we turn to Jesus and believe in what He did for us on the cross. The gospel is that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, He was sent to earth by God, born through the virgin Mary, lived the perfect sinless life we can never live. Jesus was nailed to a cross, suffered greatly and died on the cross for our sin! Jesus was then buried and on the 3rd day Jesus was risen from the dead by the Spirit of God. If you believe this and truly believe it with all your heart you will be saved! you must accept this truth and believe, confess that Jesus Christ is now your Lord. The result of salvation will be a hunger for reading the bible, you will desire to repent of sin, that is to no longer want to willingly sin, you will desire to pray and spend time with the Lord in prayer. Call out to Jesus, He cares for you!

First you have to be born again. An encounter is no substitute for biblical conversion by repenting and putting your trust in the work of Jesus. He is already doing deliverance etc and he has hardly been a "Christian" - dont be fooled.
Good word Dana, glad to see you in the comments. The times I’ve been so on fire - my theology may not have been all on point but what I love about this is how much Gods love impacted him. We must not forget a theology that roots us in the unmerited and unconditional love of God.
He said if you question him, he will question you, if you have the holy spirit. Instead of saying you should question me as you should anyone. He didn't quote the bible really and didn't say if he read it. But doesn't go to church nor think anyone should.
I am so incredibly proud of Riaan. It's the start of a new journey and he is so authentic and real about the process. If we can all be real with our process and realize we neeeeeeedd Jesus deeply everyday. Riaan shows humility and I can see Jesus working through him, it is beautiful!!

i felt the same way but i believe he’s on the right track. i trust that God has him exactly where he’s supposed to be and he will continue opening his eyes to the gospel TRUTH and Jesus. he said something about Christ consciousness in his facebook video. he’s a brand new baby Christian, technically.. it has taken years for me to grow bit by bit in my faith and i’m still growing every day. God is totally in control. we just need to pray that God continues showing him. God showed me this a long time ago. if that’s how he has to bring some people into his house, i believe that may be the way some of us will come. i have a husband who is totally agnostic and i think God draws us all in our own way. try not to be too judgmental and harsh. we are supposed to show LOVE and GRACE, after all. and he said he has experienced God’s grace and the love of Christ. i believe he really did. i heard his facebook testimony. it was very raw and i have also felt that same presence of the Holy Ghost. it changes you dramatically.

I agree. I know how long it took me to “get it” and how many times I had to get my butt kicked before I stopped trying to live and do things my way, and I am just a regular person. I believe God will keep working on him and get him there eventually. We’re all still learning daily. We’re all works in progress.

No thanks. Read the bible cover to cover at least 4 times and still an Atheist. Cannot condone the flip flopping of the Old Testament and the contradictions of the New Testament. One does not choose to become an atheist - you ask questions and study and then realise you are being brainwashed and ruled by fear and mortal men who want control - nothing to do with a god. Religion is also a matter of geography - depends where you are born as to what deity you believe in (or is forced on you). Atheism is nothing like being a christian. @@moirafox6247 you’re reading the bible in the letter and not the spirit. The Holy Spirit is the one that illuminates the word. The kingdom of heaven is other worldly. It teaches things in antithesis to the world. Where the world seeks revenge Jesus says turn the other cheek. Where the world hates their enemies Jesus teaches to love your enemies, to bless those who curse you and so good to them.
The kingdom of heaven is for those who are child like and can humble their heart. Those that see nothing wrong in themselves will never find the truth. Because we all fall short of the glory of God. The bible needs to be read with open eyes which only happens by turning your heart in repentance. When you do that your eyes are opened and you are filled with the Holy Spirit. The whole fabric of creation points to God. And the historical man of Jesus proved himself to be God when he, as confirmed by 500 eye witnesses, rose from the grave proving everything he said to be true. That is why the historical account that is the bible ans his words captured in there are so worth exploring (with an open mind). I suggest starting in the New Testament and not with a negative confirmation bias. You will only find when you truly seek, not when you are seeking for flaws to discredit it. The wisdom on God is that he hides things from the wise and prudent and reveals it to mere children. I also suggest you be careful who you listen to when it comes to Christianity. Christ as is outlined on the bible should be the example not any person.

It’s actually hard to judge. It’s just quite scary that he saw “Jesus” after doing the first half of the ritual. And second, I’m not sure if Jesus shows Himself as a middle eastern man to people since it actually contradicts what John the Beloved experienced in Revelation. John actually cannot comprehend Jesus’ face. It was too bright and His eyes were blaze of fire. Lastly, God does not have sex (neither male nor female) however it is clear in the Bible that He pertains to Himself as a Father and he uses He and Him always which is somehow contradicting to what he says in the first half of this video that God is “Themselves”. I’m wondering if the presence that he saw was actually Jesus or the cluster of demons he was intentionally calling. Anyway, I pray that what he says is true and that he finds the real Jesus if he was actually deceived. Also, praying for others who are actually watching this to be discerning. God bless

A person who started an organisation to oppose Christianity specifically. Changed his appearance to make a statement, and has encouraged hatred and division.
Now that the spotlight he so desperately craves has gone dead, he flips again. Like a lizard sliding on his belly to the grass on the other side, with fantastical stories that everyone takes as the truth.
And suddenly the creature finds itself the centre of attention again... Until the attention fades and he finds another controversial angle to work.

On the surface, it seems legit, but upon listening to this interview, this seems to be some kind of "new age Jesus" he encountered. A message of unsanctified love is not the gospel. Nor is one where "no forgiveness" is required. That is not to say that God doesn't love us unconditionally - He absolutely does -and He loves Riaan - but Jesus didn't come to just preach love - His love died for our sins so that we could be free from sin, not so that we could all just live as we please in the name of loving everyone! No, Jesus died and rose again so that we could be free from the bondage of sin! Remember the devil can appear as an angel of light. The bible says to test every spirit! and this one doesn't line up with the word!

@professa then you did not read my comment correctly. The devil can also appear looking like Jesus. Ultimately, the fruit of true salvation should eventually show - that would mean a true encounter with God's love would empower you to repent of sin and depart from new-age ways (which this man seems to be not only involved in but fully using to heal people via crystals and spirit guides - all of which are forbidden in the bible)
The evidence of a true work of God will always be conviction, repentance, forgiveness and new life. Without conviction there will be no repentance. Without repentance there is no forgiveness. Without forgiveness we can not experience the new life in Jesus. Only in this new life can we truly experience God’s love. I hope and pray that Riaan will come to true conviction, repentance, forgiveness and new life in Jesus.

Don’t be deceived
I listened through to give it its due. Look, something did happen, I am just not sure what. It sounds more of a damascene moment than repentance that would come from a true Jesus encounter. I was new age, and in fact anti-Jesus, (because I was wilfully ignorant, indoctrinated, and barricaded, - not because I was 'positioned' or philosophised into atheism or such). When the Holy Spirit entered me one evening after a period where I had made my heart available, Jesus's truth was so clear, that much of my 'stuff' just simply 'fell-away'. I knew instantly my folly and the strongholds that were in place. I had no doubt about my new-age orientation having been deftly suggested to me as 'divinity', where it was simply a deviation and a ruse for me to think I was participating in divinity. No-one better to play an angel, than an angel, right?! (lucifer). It sounds to me that Riaan was in a seeking mode already, and clung to Satan overtly for some time, but at some point his heart opened further, or the emptiness of the leaky cup of satanism could no longer 'nourish' him, and so his seeking 'broadened'. The danger I see for him, is that it does not seem to me to be Jesus that appeared, because he still speaks much folly and new-ageism. I cannot see this being possible if the encounter was authentic. Too much thought-process is still present in his thinking (i.e. he is still 'self' orientated). BUT, and it's a big one, I hope he keeps his heart open and not let himself be deluded that he has 'it all' figured out now. One matures in Spirit through the Christian journey, and that counts for even the wisest humans at the point of their turning towards Jesus. He should remain the 1 of the 100, and give himself some more time to process. Just saying. I know what I know, and not by my strength.
For me, the biggest red flag is at 59 min, where he says no he doesn't need church, and I was like oi, the scriptures do not agree with you. Hopefully, he finds true repentance and learns to carry his cross daily.

He’s right about Christian’s not showing the love of Jesus. We’re not supposed to judge unbelievers. We’re supposed to show the love of Jesus and then HE will deal with their sin. I also noticed he was trying to explain how we all need each other, because we all have different gifts. The Bible says we’re given different gifts (Holy Spirit) to help each other. We are the body, Jesus is the head. He doesn’t seem to comprehend how important it is to tell unbelievers how to be saved though - Jesus said to spread the gospel. How can they be saved, if we don’t tell them?

I have chosen to follow Jesus of the Bible and it said that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow(Hebrew 13:8). Yes, He is calling us to love one another but not to embrace things that contradict His words. I wish this fellow to please God and get peace that He promised us. (JOHN 14:27).
We can’t conflate acceptance and love. How can true love accept the drugs that are destroying you? The promiscuity that is giving you STD’s never mind pulling your soul apart. How can true love accept any path that leads to death and hell? And the wide path leads to hell. How can love not scream for you to get out the way of an oncoming truck? How can love lie to you? Nevertheless truth delivered from love hits differently than truth delivered from a pharisaical, condemning spirit. Because there is no condemnation in Christ. We all come as we are with a heart of repentance And it is Jesus alone who does the transforming.
So in love, to Rian or anyone else that may be seduced by the doctrine he is espousing. Be careful you are not deceived, because the devil himself comes disguised as an angel of light. In fact Id say that the highest form of satanism if you go by that term is to be like Satan himself who is the most subtle and greatest deceiver there is. Christ consciousness is a new age deception that will put your soul in danger. The letter kills and the spirit brings life but if anything you hear or see is not confirmed in the word of God which was Holy Spirit breathed, then it is not coming from the author; the Holy Spirit but from a demon.

This interview makes my spirit so happy. Speaking about how Jesus has flooded us with those feelings of love. If Riaan believes that he is saved, he needs to work out his salvation as is prescribed by the Bible. Some of the things Riaan says here is heretical and very contradictory to the revealed and written Word of God and sound like he has a better truth than what was already revealed. It is as if Jesus is doing a 360 on everything He has actually taught and the Old Testament teaches.
@Muzi Nkosi He also doesn't take correction from anyone who instructs him to follow biblical doctrines and says that they must question if they are saved. This is not the Spirit of Christ, Riaan is busy with deception, even if he doesn't know it. This spirit he met is not Jesus, it is a deceiving spirit. We must call it for what it is and call him out.
He is still a young believer. He will eventually get there. As long as he follows the gospel and God, then he will grow in knowledge and increase in spiritual growth

@@ConnieJooste My problem is that "Jesus" is not the Jesus of the Bible, Riaan still practices witchcraft and setting up "healing centers" with with people who are not in Christ and will practice witchcraft with him, and he is apparently still in a homosexual relationship and that "Jesus" is silent on those sins. Granted we all sin, but God will never stay silent on that. This is a very different Jesus, he is all about love and good vibes when the biblical Jesus would tell Riaan to sin no more.

This man isn't converted, he has no biblical view of God. A few concerns among many is he says he doesn't feel a need to preach (which is good considering he doesn't know God)., doesn't want to go to church, says god is all love and when he asked for forgiveness was told there is nothing to forgive him for, Jesus wasn't just man, all religions are accepted as long as they have experienced "christ", he's still living a homosexual life, etc. Bretheren don't be deceived, discern with scripture to prove yourself saved anything less isn't Christ but from the evil one. I did not grow up in a church and I did not get involved into even up until today any type of Christian community. But as time went on in my walk with God I do now consider myself a Christian. And I would love for this man to read this comment that I’m placing her because I am not somebody who is coming from a doctor native mindset. I am coming from a place where I myself have done rituals I have tapped into spiritual realm portals I have talk to spirits and I also ended up finding Jesus in the same place. No in the beginning finding him and being in his presence is loving and has compassionate and has overwhelming as it is as I continue to remain faithful to my occult practices a lot of the “ Spirit lead engagements“ that I was going through was not always the same spirit. You do realize that the devil disguising himself as an angel of light is not something that people just talk about until you experience it yourself. I’m not saying that he did not meet Jesus but I am saying that the devil will try to use New Age practices to throw on top of what you’ve just encountered with the one true and living God in order to not only confuse you but to confuse those who hear your testimony. This isn’t some thing somebody told me this is exactly what I went through. I was never one pure pressured to read the Bible, and for a long time I did not think that I needed to. I was always getting my revelation from spirit itself and a lot of times I was constantly feeling drained constantly going through spiritual warfare and I didn’t even know how to fight these battles. Until one day I finally got so frustrated and tired with what’s going on and I told God in prayer that if the way that I’m choosing to see things is not right and if it is hindering my relationship with him if it is putting filters on my eyes and causing me to be blind and causing me to be deaf spiritually to please revealed to me the truth and I literally heard him in the most sound voice say “these things, will turn on you… But I never well. And then he showed me a Vision of the Bible and I knew that it was time for me to actually go into that with an open mind. Once I did I started to understand that having a relationship with God means that this isn’t just about me here and what I want to know and what I want to see him as. He left his word here on earth so that we can know him so that we can understand him not just as a religious god as people would say but as a person as a friend as a companion as somebody that we can have a loving an intimate relationship with. Am I telling this man to run towards a religious label and consult for Christian? No! But that is some thing that I ended up making the choice to do later but out of my own free well. Don’t get confused by this whole “Christ consciousness“ because not one person in the world has ever had to die and get murdered for that belief system. But people have been killed stoned to death and sacrificed because of the true living and active word of God. Many people say well no the Bible was written by men and no it was changed throughout the years so many times. First of all, God use man to write the Bible what else would he use? A giraffe? A dog? That’s ignorant. And second of all, all of this talk about revisions but if you go through every manuscript as ever been written throughout the past 2000 years yes you’ll see the changes in the language and you might see changes in choice of words but every single manuscript that is found in the gospels of Matthew Luke John and the letters from Paul and revelations are all pointing to the same exact message. I myself used to believe that the Bible was faulty and I didn’t need to read it it was just going to confuse me and it’s just some man-made religious “bullshit“ but there is true freedom and the word of God and when you really allow yourself to have an open mind and a open heart to it you not only had the proper tools to go through this life but you also understand A very big principal that will help you remain stable in your walk with God and it’s this. Nothing is ever truly new. Especially under the sun. Life is a repetitive pattern of cycle after cycle. Call himself is the same yesterday today and forever. This isn’t to say that he won’t do something new. Because Jesus Christ is new. But he did not come from under the sun he came from the heavens and was made flesh. And when you follow Jesus and abide in Jesus you’re able to understand fully with your eyes wide open understanding the beauty and also the passion of life and how to overcome this world. This book was made for all of us not just a select group of people. And understanding God is one of the most important things that a man can ever do in this life is to truly understand who he is. We are called to test every spirit and test every truth, so how do we know how to test the spirit? It is found in the Bible. I know I’m going to get a lot of hate comments about what the Bible has to say about sin. But if you look even more closely with the research I’ve done is that man loves to make sin seem like it’s a fight that you have to go through on your own and that it’s a suffering process. But the Bible specifically states that when you lean on Jesus he takes away all earthly desires to the point where it’s saying flat out that the Holy Spirit is so powerful, that it is literally taking away the identity that you once had before you came to him and the things that you wanted before that are not pleasing to God you will no longer want. But a lot of people stand in disbelief and don’t understand and don’t even know how to practice this because they don’t even truly believe in Jesus. They may have been forced to follow a certain religious view of Jesus! So if they don’t have any face with their religion then Jesus can’t work within them. So to summarize it all I really hope and pray with all of my heart and all my soul at this man continues to understand the true one and only living God. Because Jesus and God is as one he is the alpha AND omega and I’m praying over this man that revelation and truth will be revealed to his him like a sword through the soul and spirit!

As an agnostic atheist I found this podcast educational and a lot of what Riaan said aligns with how I imagine a higher power would be if it were to exist. I would be interested to hear further details about the conversation he had with God and the answers he gave to the questions atheist and non-believers have regarding the existence of God.

Dear Esther, what did the apostles do when Barnabas first brought Paul toe them? Did they just accepted him of the bat and said 'yeah, we are so glad you know the name Jesus now'? No! They tested what they knew to be truth against what Paul was saying and they found him to be true. When we measure what riaan is saying against the Word of God we can clearly see it doesn't line up. And it is way more loving to show someone their error and have them repent, than accepting their error and be complicit in their deception. We should love the truth so much that we would be willing to hurt someone's feelings so that their mind and souls might be truly won for the Kingdom of God. I can't speak for everyone here who expresses concern for what they are hearing him say, but as for me, I thought for a very long time I was saved and I wasn't, it's the worst feeling in the world to be deceived like that, I wish it on no one. The big problem with Christianity are the Christians , the big problem with atheism are the atheists and so it goes with every large group of people everyone is flawed. I look at the thread and it’s easy to pick out the righteous , all knowing Christians, implying he’s offline “ not Christian enough “ the usual crap. This guy has just given his life to JC his journey is just starting, he is on fire and experiencing a spiritual awakening his road is long and the context of his walk is where he’s been. Who knows where this ends up or the road he takes. The phycological make up of humans is that people like people like themselves so this guy represents everything that the stock standard Christian can’t deal with. I hope his road is narrow as he focuses on the gospel and the truth, I hope he is strong because the religious, righteous, happy clappies are going to judge him. I hope he is surrounded by people that show him love and compassion and then direction.
