What is preventing the thread passing over the bead from being cut by a trouts tooth there by causing unwrapping of the dubbed body ….or did i miss something
So good question, once the fly is finished in back and front, it should keep the bead stuck! Good pattern and balances the weight on the hook shank imo

Thread dam in front and behind the bead. The initial thread wrap is just for bead placement
