- Well, here it is! The first of my (hopefully) many cartoon network video game reviews. I figured I'd start with something familiar, seeing as this is something a bit different compared to the videos that I had been making over the past 5 years. It's still surreal to me that this idea of mine is finally being realized after all this time.
For this video I decided to take a look at Relish Rampage, seeing as it's a game that I've played once before but never really go into all that much. I wanted to give it another shot, this time looking through a more critical lens... and yeah my opinion didn't change much. Still, it's cool a game like this got made at all.
Let me know what you all think of the new channel assets by the way! I fully expect some people to not like them because it's unfamiliar and that's okay, but I really wanted a new appearance now that I've moved on to a new era on my YT channel. I switched colors from red to purple because I don't want to be associated with red and black as much anymore, plus I like purple as a color much more.

Man. The Powerpuff Girls is probably one of my biggest inspirations, writing and storytelling wise. I seriously hope I can create something so popular that it gets put on a flipping Delta airplane. That would be a dream come true for an aspiring animator like me.

I like how the cgi emulates the art style . Kind of a shame that current cgi animation can't study this and Dragon Quest 8 for cel-shaded emulation.

I've currently been binging your entire PPG 2016 playlist over the past week. I'm currently half way through Oh Daisy! After I'm done with viewing this unoriginal pile of wasted potential, I'm probably going to need a month-long mind break. So I guess what I'm trying to ask is...
How the hell do you stay so persistent?

10:23 my opinion is that a good game can teach you its mechanics without needing to use a specific tutorial, rather organically fitting it into the gameplay. Not to say that any game that falls back on a tutorial is bad, just it could be better. There's always some way to organically fit in a tutorial.
Look at classic Mega Man. Teaches you gameplay through...well, gameplay.
Oh,lord...VIS Entertainment...They did Earthworm Jim 3D way back in the 90s...That's gonna be an interesting ride...
You played Deesaster Strikes too? Gosh I loved that game when I was younger! Though I admit I didn't know exactly what I had to do at first. Tho after researching, I learned and enjoyed most of the game and what it did offer!

I own relish rampage cause i probably asked for it at some point since my dad has a ps2 and i love the show. Did not beat the first mission bc the controlls for ps2 were awful and them flying genuinely made me confused and motion sick. im glad to hear im not the only person confused by the town layout.

To Be Fair, Sedusa was in this Game Because She Only Has 3 Appearance in the Show itself (Sans Cameos) and She Needed to Be Here just to Remind People She Existed. Heck The Amoeba Boys Made More Major Appearances than Her and They are Just Harmless.

I'll be looking forward to the Dexter's Laboratory Deesaster Strikes video. I remember getting it with my Game Boy Advance on Christmas Eve of 2002 when I was 10 along with both the PPG games on that system, "Sonic Advance" and "Fairly OddParents: Enter the Cleft." I could never get far in Mojo Jojo A Go-Go because it was a shooter game where you constantly had to dodge things and it was hard. I did have a lot of fun with Him and Seek since it was a mission based game similar to this, though I always got stuck on the Mojo Jojo Frogger mini game which was my first experience with the Frogger style gameplay.
You should absolutely talk about the website flash games, like fast and the flurrious and Attack of the Puppybots.
The cel shaded graphics in this game reminds me of the 2006 Family Guy Video Game
Spider-Man 2 is a fun time.
See if you can find a playable version of Showdown in the Sky to review?
Get used to the Bam level of quality, since they had the license to Cartoon Network games at the time

I also only got that PPG game a few years ago from the flea market. Im glad I sold it after completely. Personally I say "Him and Seek" is the better PPG game

i remember playing relish rampage on the ps2 for the first time a year or 2 ago, i was so frustrated with that stupid ass bus mission in i believe the 2nd act, the game is very mediocre in my eyes, but maybe i'll speedrun it one day

The best Powerpuff Girls game. The GBC games had potential, but bad execution let them down. The N64/PS1 game was abysmal, and the GBA games were okay. This one is pretty solid, especially for its sense of speed when flying around the city of Townsville.

as much as I'd remembered this game of Powerpuff Girls of Relish Rampage back then When I was a kid and it didn't hold up well Great start to these video game reviews if I may recommend you try to review Adventure Time Pirates of the Enchireddian as well as SpongeBob Battle for Bikini Bottom rehyrated edition

No. Those are shows & games that were made to tie in to eachother. Both came out as games at first (Ghostly Adventures & Boom: Rise of Lyric)

@@EggFighterXB- The first episode is based on a video from that Pac-Man & Galaga 3DS crossover game from 2011 (The Show was in devopment since 2010). It's literally the same but shorter & with a different voice

I remember watching playthroughs of this as well as getting nightmares of the pickled citizens’ models.
I tried playing this game before but I could never play it to long because I always got dizzy from it.
I don't think I could play it as an adult because I suffer from dizziness

If they ever decide to make a new PowerPuff Girls game, I think they should just make it an arcade Beat em up (Streets of Rage, Final Fight, Double Dragon, River City ECT)
I always remembered the lock on system of this game being sorta messy, often locking onto a smaller mook instead of the target I was going for like a certain thing I'm supposed to destroy or a boss. Not to mention the punch/kick range is really small so you have to get super up close to damage an enemy, often getting you taking damage in the process, so I usually waited back for my eye beams to charge to not worry about taking too much damage.
I'll say this, the music in the game is actually pretty sick, very faithful to the "drum and bass" style the show itself is so known for.

I knew there was something familiar with the pickle invasion when I played this game years ago. I literally was thinking "Wait, have I seen this before?" while playing it. This game isn't as good as I remembered it being sadly. However, I remembered the "Hooray for Mojo!" and "Excuse me, Bubbles?" exchange for years for some reason lol.
I know PPG was very popular in its heyday, but I never knew it got its own airplane cover.
And what's up with the Professor in this game? I know it must be difficult to translate a blocky 2D design into a rounder 3D form, but couldn't they have done a better job with it?
The only Powerpuff Girls games I've played were the 3 Gameboy Color games.

I actually had this game and it was very long time ago like pretty much a few months after the game came out long ago, so I have some vague nostalgia for it I guess lol

well hey. on the topic of dimensions. lego teased something involving the colors of the dimensions toypad. [the later toypads added orange] so hey. maybe we'll be seeing the game jump from a frustrating toys to life game to a normal lego game! and THEN you can recommend the ppg content [EDIT:so i found out the tweet teasing what could've been dimensions 2 or a dimensions port was a teaser for a lego con. yeeeahhh we possibly aren't seeing dimensions ever again]
I've heard that rumor and I tell ya what, I'd be happy because it would mean getting to experience the game without the frustration, but at the same time it would be ill-timed considering I've already started working on that series of videos right now haha. I'd hate to get halfway through it for them to announce "by the way we're releasing the full game" because it would make the entire project moot on my end. But hey, I suppose if everyone can experience the full game for a reasonable price then it's for the greater good. Guess we'll find out in a few weeks!
