As a Jeff player I just wanna say that Aftercare is such a useful perk It's literally Bond, but has unlimited range, works for both you and other survivors, and rewards you for playing altruistically I use it like Object of Obsession; look for the survivor in chase, and relay the Killer's position to my friends without needing to give away my position every five secods
Well then just use empathy plus ur gonna get hooked whether you like it or not plus OOO help you while ur in a chase and gives a passive 6 percent speed to everything
I'm a Jill main because I've loved Jill Valentine and her story for her entire existence basically and I gotta say when blast mine works it's so good and fun to use
Well on defense of Urban Evasion (even though I don't like it) it can be used for Hag, Pyramid head, Huntress, Deathslinger, (Maybe Myers for when they stalk while looping them), and basically Blendette.
>Jeff’s perks are just so bad they aren’t even fun! LIES THIS MAN TELLS ME. Let me break it down for you. • Aftercare Severely underrated, amazing information tool, a perk willing to carry entire games if used correctly. Solo; you can learn of killer position, team position, hatch location, gen repairs, hook saves, and etc. You can gesture through walls to even communicate with some teammates about killer positions. This has saved me a good few people. SWF; Solo benefits + added ability to communicate. I will die on this hill about this perk. It’s just so good to me. Personally the build I have in mind for my Jeff will be Aftercare, Iron Will (optional), We’ll Make It, BT, and Saboteur (optional 2). Altruism and information is just my main game. • Distortion This perk is fun as it is a direct information tool as to what aura reading perks the killer may have. This further translates into pointing out things like lockers for your team if it comes to something like BBQ. SWF, it’s even better. You are an information machine capable of shutting down aura reads, and even able to save games by using said info. • Breakdown Situational at best, but it does reduce possible tunnel off hook. I personally don’t use it, but I could see it being pretty fun with certain builds. Maybe like a power struggle build just for memes. Overall, I think Jeff got done diiirty in this ranking. 2/3 perks are solid, his cosmetics are extremely good, and you can mask his noises well even without iron will if skilled enough. Super cool survivor with fun perks!
A few years ago I used to pair tenacity with unbreakable because back then, most killers would down me and then try to slug other survivors and I'd crawl away and get back up. I used to love running that, but as I kept playing, having those 2 perks paired together is very situational depending on the killer. Some will leave you alone, some will immediately pick you up when you're down and if they do pick you up immediately, you basically have 2 perks utterly useless and that really crippled me as a survivor. Thankfully I grew out of that.
So with Yun Jin Lee, her perks are are about gaining benefits from your dying teammates. Fast Track is easily the worst since you earn little value out of it and gets no value if your team isn't getting hooked. However, it pairs amazing with Stake Out since you can gain so much progress in a single skill check and if you get a lot of tokens, it's like installing a brand new part. Just follow the equation y = x +4 where y is the total progress on a generator, X is the amount of tokens you have (each token represents 1% and comes into a multiple of 3) and 4 representing the base value of a great skill check hit. Basically, at worst, you can do 7%, but at 4 hooks, you could get 16%. Smash Hit is arguably the worst exhaustion perk in the game, but since your run timer starts the moment you are out of animation, you could just leave a chase and gain a bunch of distance from the killer with this perk. This doesn't pair well with anything, but if you use this successful against a killer that lacks in speed, you automatically win the chase. Self Preservation is the best since it cloaks you from the killer for a short duration. You can either use this against a killer who needs immediate hints of a rescuer and essentially get out of dodge when someone takes a hit for you. It works stupid well in the cornfield maps and inside indoor maps, so I recommend.it if you can control your turf. I think her perks are C tier; they are dynamic for specific play styles and I have to appreciate it, even if its not that good.
I use smash hit and it helps out alot especially with the perks you said plus hyperfocus and it's 16% plus how much a great skill check gives you I thunk it's like 8 percent? So 24 percent which is crazy
Yun jin main, gotta say her perks are made for one playstyle alone, a selfish one, you are letting everyone else get screwed over while you scurry off and pop all your saved up fast track tokens on a great skill check and basically almost have a brand new parts effect, and smash hit is great against newer killers who don’t know how to avoid pallet stunning
I actually find Aftercare to be a really useful soloque perk and it's the crux of my full support build. Running We'll Make It, Prove Thyself and Borrowed Time with it makes you a beacon for survivors that you heal up and rescue and the fact that everyone sees your aura anywhere as well means that good survivors that remember your perks can easily meet up after a hook, flipping pressure that killers can get. There have been plenty of times where I use this build to set up a randevu point to keep the whole team healthy while we trade hits with killer, organize a hook camp rescue or try to swarm a heavily defended gen. We'll Make It can also really help snowball your Aftercare if you pay attention to where allies might be or just get lucky finding injured people.
I'm not sure about Dwight being on 11. As a Dwight player his perks. Using Bonding really helps gathering up the team and prove thyself if used with bonding can make generator tasks faster and using the Leader perk literally multiplies the prove thyself perk. These perks only come in handy if you work together with your team.
@@Hyrule409 I think it's because my comment is outdated. I'm pretty sure there were changes made to Prove Thyself and leader. I haven't used the build in a while now so yeah they probably don't work now.
@@Crispy-Chips still, dwight should be in top 10, he is quite quiet when injured, and his perks are good, leader not so much, but bond and Prove thyself are really really good.
@@KytoYT id say that the investment is fine but it takes too long to invest. id say it would be viable if they dramatically increased the skill check rate or automatically force skillchecks at certain progress rates with the work so the build up is more consistent (aka, at say 25% healing progress it triggers a skill check and another at 75%, so that way your going positive after the first heal, and then the rigged skill checks benefit you past that.) thats just my idea for it though.
I don't think it's very good. I rarely get the thing build up until the very end. Just simple healing speed buff perks are better because they work from the start with no negative side affects. It's biggest problem is you can fully heal multiple people and not get any skill checks, which isn't even a rare thing to happen. it's just not good right now tbh, it needs a second stat that gives you more skill checks.
@@KytoYT I have the perfect build for you ! Autodidact obviously Second wind to get a value for yourself 😤👍🏻 And empathy to show you injured teammates in solo q!!
I would love a video ranking survivors by their sound. When I saw the thumbnail of this video I thought Jeff was the lowest because of how loud his breathing is
As an ash main I think flip flop is good especially when it gives you one of the strongest effects its just sad that it only works on sluggers but still flip flop remains one of my favorite perks
Smash hit is actually pretty good. It gets you a 4 second speed burst after stunning the killer, so they’re stuck in place for about 2 seconds and you’re basically guaranteed to escape.
Honestly fast track is amazing for me, I've gotten so much use out of it on gens! At level one, it's alright, but at tier three and it stacked all the way up, it can be so clutch on that last gen
Steve main here: have you seen what his baby sitter perk does now that behavior has reworked it (and agreed camaraderie sucks especially if your solo queuing) (also Second wind is pretty good but it definitely is situational) but hey Kyto please look back at Steve's Babysitter perk because now its a very viable perk especially paired with other perks
I tried to use "Wake Up" for about 20 games, and can say that it's quite fun to use. 3 out of 20 times, survivors see what gates I was opening and being chased by a killer, they run to my position. 2 out of 20 times, I was able to ipen the gates right before killer land a hit on me. Without this perk, I would open the gates right by the time killer's attack cooldown will be over. 4 out of 20 times, injured survivors just ran to me so that I could heal them. So in 10 out of 20 times it was useful, and in 10 out of 20 times I died and didn't even get to the point, where I would open the gates. This perk is very good for Solo survivar with such perks, like "Left Behind" to track the Hatch, Kindred so that others could safetely save you, and 1 Exhausting perk, like Adrenaline or Lithe.
Wake up helps you find exit gates on some maps, helps you open them for your team, and it most situations would allow you to camp a gate while killer closes hatch and you get a free out
Fr. My friend uses head on and when we play on coms, i bait the killer to run right in front of the locker my friend is in. He stuns the killer about 95% of the time, so it’s an effective combo. Pretty toxic too
Flip flop, power struggle is amazing mostly if your playing with another friend you just tell him to buy some time. So I wouldn't put ash as worst. And mettle of man is alright.
2:00 fun fact: second wind, or renewal as it's referred to now, doesn't remove off the record, so you can run off the record, decisive strike, renewal and deliverance, to become the ultimate annoyance for like, Sixty seconds.
Don't be hating on Distortion and Open Handed, they're both utility perks. Distortion is underrated and can provide useful information throughout the trial. Open Handed has excellent synergy, now that its range has been buffed, with the majority of all aura reading perks and addons. Perks including Bond, Windows of Opportunity, Visionary, and Kindred, Plunderer's and Better Together.
Agreed!! Open Handed is pretty strong with its buff. I still don’t see why you would use distortion over any other information perk tho. It’s just off-brand Object of Obsession.
Aftercare is underrated if you ask me. I use it all the time...and it happened many times that randoms saw I am safe on a gen and knew they can come over to heal etc. Helps a lot on maps like Midwich too, when randoms dunno where the gens are. Also this perk helps me a lot, because I get to see all 3 randoms when I safed or healed them once ....and I then know exactly when someone is on a gen or doing nothing ^^ Funny to see randoms crouching around until they realize I can see them too
@@KytoYT true too haha ! Most fun for me with this perk is I can show the others with pointing where the killer is going. Comes in very handy for example when I am the last one with 1 other, the killer looses me in chase and then bamm
if i would start the game i would go in this order : David ( DH & WGLF ) then stop and go to Bill level 40 and then Meg level 40 i dont see any reason to ever buy Ace, Quentin, Jeff, Steve or any other low tier Surv for their perks alone, best bet is to wait for Shrine if u are not Rich that is. Overall i do agree on that list but Ace is put way too high, Ace in the Hole is pretty much the only decent perk and even then it sux :D def candidate for worst Surv
I feel like it should be something that charges up if the killer is within a certain radius of a hooked survivor. And then maybe it gives both people endurance :D
@@KytoYT that’s a very good idea! I don’t understand why a survivor has to be 16 meters away. It’s meant for face campers mostly and then going to get u just makes the mk die. But if they had endurance and maybe they had a prompt that told u someone had it, it could be a good change. Something I want is to be able to see others builds. It could help a lot for fun like if someone brings a no hook build, saboteur, break out, etc. because I would bring boil over for example. Or if my team brings self care and urban evasion, I know I need to bring stronger perks.
Ok as a Tapp main I am legally required to talk about how stake out is an underrated perk. It is actually really good to find out if a killer is near you so if you are working on a gen and then stake out activates then you can easily know if the killer is getting close to you depending if it turn offs soon after. And the fact that it gives you the ability to get great skill check bonus when getting a good skill check makes it really good. The only downside is the tokens which are easy to get and the fact that a stealth killer can not trigger it which is the same for other information perks.
Stakeout is actually great if you’re doing a challenge to hide in the killer’s terror radius, or you’re trying to gen rush. Do that with urban evasion and spine chill and you can dupe the killer and get some major stakeout stacks. I’ve gotten a lot of value from it.
I picked up Jake as my favorite survivor early on, and I never leave home without Iron Will. I'm terrible at getting chased, so I've relied heavily on Iron will to break line of sight and stay hidden instead. Never underestimate the power of shutting the f*ck up. :)
I 360 killers a lot in chase, but atm I am grinding out jake so I can unlock his Iron Will teachable. Luckily it is only level 20 till I can unlock the teachable, so I don’t have to grind him out as much
I have an idea for Object of Obsession. So basically it’s like it is now but instead of going off every 30 seconds, after 30 seconds the perk will light up kinda like spine chill (and while it’s charging it will have the thing when something like second wind or lucky break is going up) and once that happens you can basically press a button while standing stole or walking than it activates so you don’t have to give away your location when you don’t need to
Honestly I think you should get ace, as an ace main, he is by far the quietest character in the game. Might as well be the Michael of survivors, and ace in the hole is really good
My man did Felix dirty. True, any means necessary isn’t great, but visionary actually is a solid perk when employed correctly, and built to last is absolutely goated. If you finish a gen with visionary and then cross the map (to avoid trapping yourself in a 3 gen), it won’t be too long before visionary activates again, and it’s vital when playing solo Q as it almost eliminates time spent hunting for a gen. Built to last is *AMAZING* as it (cumulatively) gives you almost two extra uses of an item. That’s two extra uses of a commodious toolbox with extra charge addons, or a death ray flashlight, or a ranger’s medkit. It’s awesome
Am a feng main and ive been since her release bcz shes just a very stylish yet best survivor for both looping and stealthing bcz shes short and ive never had to worry about chases bcz of lithe, it is the best combo for me bcz i can pair it with dance with me and quick and quiet, iron is also solid
I think better together is a fence that perk for solo q because say that that finale gen need a to be done and the killer is defending one that is near completion you could be on another gen and you teammates could see that and one could go there and another could distract. This isn’t the only use, it is a pretty could info perk like where you are so the survivor knows not to head that direction so you can get that gen done
I’m shocked that you put Dwight that low. His perks are sooooo good. bond can help you keep tabs on what your team is doing, prove thyself allows you to zoom through generators. And leader is really good for getting back in the game. I know it's ur opinion so this is mine
As an ultra beginner Technician is definitely not garbage. Ive busted so many skill checks and going against killers on the same level as me, its saved my butt countless times and has helped me to repair gens without being discovered 🔥
Built to last + Streetwise + Technician + Self Care, then bring the purple toolbox with the additional charge add-ons. The killer will be looking for you specifically.
at the lower ranks we can a little bit argue, but all in all I would confirm with this List. I also think that Iron Will is the best Perk in the entire game, but the truth is, there are Stridor and Plague, which makes Sprint Burst not only to the best Exhaustion Perk in Game, it's also the best Perk in the Game at all (for Survivors)
I think that was a pretty solid list, but I think I disagree with the placement of Feng and Meg. So many people use Sprint Burst the wrong way and walk from objective to objective to save their exhaustion. Technician is so good for new players who may fail skill checks a lot and Alert/Lithe are good or new and experienced players. I think both Feng and Bill have more utility for new players than Meg.
This list is kind of like making a tier list if killers by seeing how their powers synergize with other killers abilities... still a pretty good list though *other than jeff who isnt in the #1 spot he deserves* lol
I main feng because she's tiny and can hide easily. Use this survivor, and you won't get caught. I also recommend Kate. I had only 6 hrs of gameplay when I mastered all loops using Windows of opportunity. I recommend you buy and get Kates perks. I currently have over 7k hrs of gameplay and I know all loops but Windows of opportunity is good for beginners.

Aftercare is underrated if you ask me. I use it all the time...and it happened many times that randoms saw I am safe on a gen and knew they can come over to heal etc. Helps a lot on maps like Midwich too, when randoms dunno where the gens are. Also this perk helps me a lot, because I get to see all 3 randoms when I safed or healed them once ....and I then know exactly when someone is on a gen or doing nothing ^^ Funny to see randoms crouching around until they realize I can see them too
true!! aftercare is good, but you lose it after getting hooked, which kinda sucks 😩
@@KytoYT true too haha ! Most fun for me with this perk is I can show the others with pointing where the killer is going. Comes in very handy for example when I am the last one with 1 other, the killer looses me in chase and then bamm
if i would start the game i would go in this order : David ( DH & WGLF ) then stop and go to Bill level 40 and then Meg level 40
i dont see any reason to ever buy Ace, Quentin, Jeff, Steve or any other low tier Surv for their perks alone, best bet is to wait for Shrine if u are not Rich that is.
Overall i do agree on that list but Ace is put way too high, Ace in the Hole is pretty much the only decent perk and even then it sux :D def candidate for worst Surv
I’d say better together is pretty good on solo que
Camaraderie would be good if it didn’t work for just 34 seconds. It could be better if it was a minute, giving ur team more time for face campers
The only downside is the tokens which are easy to get and the fact that a stealth killer can not trigger it which is the same for other information perks.
but you can hear the terror radius if the killer is getting closer, and you can also just hit your great skillchecks
Elodie is queen 😘💅
But Felix will always be my favorite
Same Felix IS best
Stakeout is actually great if you’re doing a challenge to hide in the killer’s terror radius, or you’re trying to gen rush. Do that with urban evasion and spine chill and you can dupe the killer and get some major stakeout stacks. I’ve gotten a lot of value from it.
when the resident evil chapter comes out, where would u rank Jill & Leon? 👀
We waiting 🎤🎤
Both are easy A’s. For me Jill is S
Top 5
my main used to be Meg and now it's Overbeck so I'm happy to see both of them in the top 2
I picked up Jake as my favorite survivor early on, and I never leave home without Iron Will.
I'm terrible at getting chased, so I've relied heavily on Iron will to break line of sight and stay hidden instead.
Never underestimate the power of shutting the f*ck up. :)
that last sentence is literally life advice
I 360 killers a lot in chase, but atm I am grinding out jake so I can unlock his Iron Will teachable. Luckily it is only level 20 till I can unlock the teachable, so I don’t have to grind him out as much
0:53 ASH:so you wana test the mettle of man?
9:55 Well, that didn’t age well 😅
I have an idea for Object of Obsession. So basically it’s like it is now but instead of going off every 30 seconds, after 30 seconds the perk will light up kinda like spine chill (and while it’s charging it will have the thing when something like second wind or lucky break is going up) and once that happens you can basically press a button while standing stole or walking than it activates so you don’t have to give away your location when you don’t need to
hmmm that seems kinda cool and more consistent. it’s definitely in need of a small buff!!
Honestly I think you should get ace, as an ace main, he is by far the quietest character in the game. Might as well be the Michael of survivors, and ace in the hole is really good
Yun Jin perks are so good. :(
My man did Felix dirty.
I main Tapp and my favorite perk is Stake Out hahaha it help me to get more BP
If u want more bp play david and use were gunna farm forever (live not farm I just call it that)
@@NobodyKn0ws102k hahaha and also stack with Borrowed Crime
Am a feng main and ive been since her release bcz shes just a very stylish yet best survivor for both looping and stealthing bcz shes short and ive never had to worry about chases bcz of lithe, it is the best combo for me bcz i can pair it with dance with me and quick and quiet, iron is also solid
I like ash for his looks I don’t use his Perks
Me 2
Me as a Steve main seeing he isn’t the worst: oh thank god
His perks are hiding his best feature
Me being a nancy main watching this 👁️👄👁️
Hey, I was the person who was Zarina❤ Thank you for including me in your video😁
ayyy thanks for having gameplay!!
11:22
Self care is a killer perk
🤣 sad truth
But joke of the year
I bought "feng min" And its lvl is 30 but its permanent Exsousion perk does not work in game😢😢
Leon flash is funny when used properly and bite the bullet is underrated
Everyone knows Steve’s real Perks are Flashbang and head on every Steve is a meme Lord
"Self care which is a killer perk" LMAO. No more true words were ever spoken.
Alternate title: ranking adept achievements from hardest to easiest
Jeff’s Distortion can actually be helpful when popping gens. It helps you know if the killer has BBQ
Ash is the best character in the game and you can't convince me otherwise
Prove thyself is goated
okayyy left behind is a mandatory perk for me to have lmaooo i apologize. only because i’ve had bad luck for yearsss finding the hatch💀
I’m shocked that you put Dwight that low. His perks are sooooo good. bond can help you keep tabs on what your team is doing, prove thyself allows you to zoom through generators. And leader is really good for getting back in the game. I know it's ur opinion so this is mine
Dwight would definitely be higher on my list now, i’ve been trying out both his perks more and they’re SO helpful
hi, i subbed and i like the content u do, keep it up
thanks man!!!
As an ultra beginner Technician is definitely not garbage. Ive busted so many skill checks and going against killers on the same level as me, its saved my butt countless times and has helped me to repair gens without being discovered 🔥
“Self Care, Which Is A Killer Perk” lol
Vittorio mains: Am i a joke to you?
Everyone else: wait a minute who are you?
Do a tier list for best survivor with noises and skins
Cheryl will be the most quite oneee
Built to last + Streetwise + Technician + Self Care, then bring the purple toolbox with the additional charge add-ons. The killer will be looking for you specifically.
As Jeff main All of his perks are underrated distortion is literally perk that negates aura reading and breakdown is good not bad
I've gotten back into dbd and I love going through your videos for tips! :)
glad I can help!!
I like how he said these survivors are only based off perks but then quintein smith gets shit on
I’m a Dwight main in my opinion a decent starter I enjoy using his perks with friends ect it’s alright in my opinion
at the lower ranks we can a little bit argue, but all in all I would confirm with this List.
Love how half this video is "This perk is bad do not use it, one of the worst perks in the game" with zero explanation. Good video
if i explained every perk and why it’s bad, this would be two hours long
Felix now is OP, his built to last perk let’s me gen rush so fast.
i'm a kate main and i absolutely love her !!! ❤
This list is kind of like making a tier list if killers by seeing how their powers synergize with other killers abilities... still a pretty good list though *other than jeff who isnt in the #1 spot he deserves* lol
Steve is my Main because of his nice hair Shi still be getting those dubs thoooo
When he said jane everyone loves her the tag on the top right says “Nah Nobody” 😂
Congrats on 50k I got a question for you qna, if there was one dbd player you could play with who would it be and why
As a Meg main I am grinding for DH so I can switch between that and SB but I will forever run adrenaline where possible
Listen, left behind has saved me so many times xD
As a meg head
I totally agree the Meg is better than all survivours.
Jeff’s perks are the best with the right scenario.
Solo que with aftercare and you’ll see it’s awesome
Run distortion with some buddies and you’ll see it’s power
And run breakdown with a sabo build and you’ll almost never get hooked sense 180 seconds is way to long
Stakeout is good for knowing when a stealth killer in nearby long as it isn't cramped map
This is so brutally opinion wised
As a Meg main. I am crying, v git recognition v needed
Me and the 3 other ace mains chilling in the basement
Stake out is good for rift challenges that call for great skill checks, but that’s about it.
Can believe you’d do my boy Jeff like that😢
