@@Alienvertex Yeah, because he sees the same clowns in the same spots week after week. I guarantee you, after several months your patience would start to wear a bit thin too
That shopping cart is stolen, which is theft. And yet the 'authorities' neither return it to the store it belongs to NOR cite the homeless man for being in possession of stolen property. The woman in the blue skinny jeans sure has a cush job. Wow, stand and chat. She needs to get down with the struggle and start calling the thief 'BRO' !
There’s literally _always_ a tent in that little circle area 😅 The city needs to plant some cacti 🌵 in there or something. Plus, that’s the same guy from last week. He just doesn’t listen, does he?
What happened to locals who used to enforce a code of behavior at the skatepark? This is such a special place for the community to have an entitled transient post up and trash the place.

The dude camps in that circle ⛺️ every single week. Every Friday at the same time they gotta tell him to move because he’s lazy and won’t bother to get up 30 minutes earlier. Next week they should just throw _everything_ out! He obviously has too much random shit anyway. It would actually be doing him a favor.
@flanagamer can't they just trespass someone from the beach... That way, if he comes back, he can sit in the back of a police car and watch everything, get thrown away... He's too arrogant with people that are being fair to him... For someone that's supposed to be homeless he sure does have a lot of new stuff every week... I think he's selling more than postcards
@@bigbob16 I dunno - At a minimum, they should give him a citation or small fine every time, since he does this every week knowing damn well he’s not allowed. Then at least he’d be inconvenienced to have to go downtown and take care of said citation every 30 days. Eventually, maybe he’d get the hint. In FL, he’d be in jail by now. If he doesn’t like the rules, he can go get a job and an apartment, or at least a storage unit.
The guy said something false. Outreach workers are NOT going to assist him with housing. At best they will put him on a wait list. Give him a listing of congregate shelters in the area, or if he very lucky, an emergency motel voucher. In my view, that’s not long term assistance. Hence the encampments. I call it the non-profit scam. It began in California, however with what I’m reading, New York has taken it to a whole new level.
Just wondering how you know this about the waitlisting? First hand experience or, any sources that I can learn more about this? I'm not sure I understand the racket at a city level. The worker seemed pretty confident he'd get help and glad to see a counselor on-site but this whole thing def stinks
They give tickets for illegally camping. These tickets turn into warrants, which then turn into jail time, eventually leading to prison. Gotta keep the California penal system working and fed 👍
Nobody was given a citation. They almost never give citations. I've watched this channel for about 2 years, and I think I've seen Santa Monica police give 2 citations. I don't think I've seen LAPD ever give a citation during a clean-up.
Nobody is going to state prison for illegal camping. Citations are valuable tools to change behavior. Potential jail time can be exchanged for willingness to accept help and services and get these people off the street. Many of these people refuse accept help and to change their lifestyle. It's not compassionate to the individual or the community to allow this to continue.
@@Kevin-g5b lol. You've obviously never seen the twin towers downtown La, or been hauled off the boardwalk down to lakeside. Hells I bet you don't even know the names of the street gangs of Dogtown. People get tickets all the frikkin Time on the boardwalk. You're funny 🤣🤣

💯
He's making tons of contractor money, don't worry.

That green tent has been there for few days.🙏
If these people are not following rules of the park, they should be trespassed from the park. 😮

I want to know why he isn't cited each and every time he does this.
