I’ve been telling people this for YEARS!!!! the Bible clearly says, we will know them by their fruits. So if you know the fruit is rotten, why be around that person. I can forgive you, without reconnecting.

You are unable to give me what you took. What you took from me you are unable to pay. An apology don't give me my time back. You can't give me back the trauma of trusting you. To forgive you, I have to write it off as bad debt. I can't hold my moving on til you get a revelation of what you did to me. C'mmon! Wisdom!

Reconciliation doesn't mean connection. Be very careful especially with people on social media who are like this.
People have a knack to try to probe into our business or have hidden agendas. If someone removes you from their life and wants to come back, you have to test them by their fruits. Did they actually change? I've known many who haven't, and the Lord will allow you if he says so to let the connection go. People sometimes fail to realize that love doesn't have to equate proximity. It's why discernment and prayer is helpful in every season of our lives.

Well, that started out good, but somewhere along the way we lost the plot.
The cross is the biggest example of forgiveness there is, or ever will be, and I'm pretty sure, it was to reconcile us back into relationship with HIM.
Seriously! What other reason would there be?
If on the other hand, you want an excuse NOT to actually forgive, but to only pretend, or give lip-service to, said act of forgiveness, this WOULD be a great way to go about it.
It gives you the sanctimonious look of being righteous without the actual commitment to acting it out.
To forgive someone in this way is only a backhanded way of hurting them further. Anybody could see through that. It is the act of reconciliation that proves the forgiveness stated was genuine.
If scripture is to be believed, it is the act of forgiveness that brings about change, NOT the other way around.

When i say "I've slayed the day", I've actually prayed throughout the way. Thats why i can stand here and say, "Pray!". 👩🦳🙏🫵
