I left in the 60's, Impossible to recognise my hometown. Nostalgic!!! Was at the IIT inauguration in 1952 as a Kid Remember the tower, which was the old prison.

Kumarjit, I don't know you,but am indebted for sharing this beautiful bird's eye view of my beloved town where I grew up, whatever I am is solely due to this place. Every corner of this city carries so much memories of childhood, all comes flooding down. Kharagpur is no less beautiful than many famous cities we see photos of. Yes, the Subarnarekha river's view was truly breathtaking. IIT looks so beautiful, especially the old tower. Do share more pics of our Kharagpur, absolutely loved it!
