- 40s of the twentieth century. Russian Bolshevik occupiers are seeking to establish their own order in the newly occupied lands of Western Ukraine. The UPA partisan army opposes the Russian occupation and fights for the restoration of the Independence of Ukraine. The local population and relatives of the UPA soldiers do their best to support the brave fighters for independence in the liberation struggle against the Russian occupiers, and for this the Russians and their minions brutally suppress the Ukrainian population, starting massacres and deportations of Ukrainian families to Siberia. The UPA soldiers are trying to prevent this, but the forces are too unequal... The rebels can only take revenge and punish the executioners.

The film “Executed Dawns” was filmed in 1995 at the National Film Studio named after A. Dovzhenko by director Grigory Kokhan. This picture raises questions of national memory and historical justice. The feature film “Executed Dawns” highlights the struggle of the UPA with the NKVD detachments and the plight of the relatives of the Ukrainian rebels.

Этот фильм был снят в 1995 году. Снят на территории уже самостийной Украины. Здесь могли снимать и придумывать то, что уже было выгодно Украинской власти. Вот как фантазировали, так и сняли. В основном все злодеи говорят на русском языке. Ну оно и понятно. Так хотелось режиму Кравчука преподнести своему народу свою сказку.

@@user-bo8ip3pf3p вы хоть вдумайтесь, что было написано!! Был выражен смех по поводу того, что татарин говорит в фильме на украинском, ведь этого не было. Про выселение....так выгнали не только татар, но и другие народы. А в тюрьмах каждый говорил на своем родном языке, как и в жизни. Для татар украинский родной язык? Нет, конечно, вот это и было высмеяно
