John Lone did an excellent job playing Kinjo. His slow and predatory ninja movement before he unmasks is really unnerving. You can tell that this guy is a stone cold killer.
That is both the most honest and realistic response I have heard. Ironically after seeing a Steven seagull movie where he rights on the wall the anticipation of death is worst than death itself.
John Lone stole the entire show with his looks. I was on the edge with eyes glued while watching this scene. This is the best scene throughout the movie where an unarmed girl demeans and questions the credibility of a professional killer. My fav movie.
JOHN 3:16 FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD, THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE.
@@AwakenedJus You gotta use common sense, it's not always about tangible evidence (although that helps a ton) Throughout history there have always been the need for the services of spies, assassins, saboteurs etc, from Europe, the Middle East & Asia - Japan (Nihon) was no different or exempt from this. The Shinobi were simply Japan's spies & assassins just like their Chinese precursors - the Ye Ban Tou (who for many centuries) have been practicing these arts long before the Japanese learned these covert arts of warfare. Why else would a "ninja" craft lethal poisons? Definitely not for self defense - you don't use poison to protect yourself on a mission lol you use it for murder, plain & simple. Sometimes they used other tools & weapons for the job. If you would like to learn about the Chinese roots of the "ninja" look up Les Conn & Noelle Conn - they are excellent researchers who've uncovered much evidence of their history, you'd get a kick out of it. 🥷
This is an unrealistic film produced to attract weeaboos with a fantasy about Japanese culture. Don't be misled into believing that there are still many acting ninjas and samurai carrying swords in modern Japan or that the Yakuza still employs masked ninjas dressed in black to assassinate their rivals.

These two were cast after gaining recognition from the movie "The Last Emperor"
I remember when this movie came to theaters. I got the worst reviews. Don't trust reviews. The Hunted rocks.
They said the same about TAKEN (2008) and it Smashed the Box Office 🎉
John Lone is a beautiful man. I rarely use the word 'beautiful' for a man. But I think he is the one who deserves this word.
you are beautiful too jennifer
Absolutely right, especially his eyes which can be soft and powerful at the same time.
@Ivan Karaschuk White women also give compliments. Please check.
I use the word beautiful for men and women alike, no prejudice or taboos or gender bs for me. It is what it is.
So The Last Emperor kills his own wife.
2:01 Kinjo would've love to have her be part of his clan for her courage in facing death like a warrior.
Whoever played kinjo is an amazing actor
He is John Lone.
Watch the movie Iceman.
He also played as China last Emperor.
The woman here, acted as the China last Emperor concubine. Two same actors here again, together .
Whoa!! That's the first time you don't hear the overexaggerated metal scraping sound from a sword being drawn 😂😂
But it's a beautiful sound, tho lol
@@ShadowDancer_ yeah, it's pretty cool, but it'd be better if it were real 😆
@@dichonelawson5218I agree, it's definitely a lot better with the realistic sounds.
If someone actually hired ninjas to kill me....i'm not sure if I should be honored or terrified
Both.

Well you probably get killed not by a katana but by a sniper rifle, cause if modern ninjas exists you can bet thatt they would be using modern weapons
joan chen was beautiful in this

John lone killed this role was calm and creepy as the villain
I used to work AMC Theatres. I remember this scene like if the popcorn was popping in the kettle...
Funny cool how vivid some scenes are in our brains
I was surprised how much I enjoyed this, mostly because of Lone, Lambert, and Chen, rather than the movie itself.
If you're ordered to kill her quick, why bother giving her choice to die fast or slowly. Wether the script was badly written or bad acting.
he probably thought she would say quickly and was suprised by what she said
Maybe the dirtbag bf ordered him to do the opposite of what she asked.
This is such a forgotten gem
They worked togheter in the last emperor, great movie from 80's
There can only be one
Poor Christopher Lambert, he is not the protagonist of his own movie.
Best movie ever
And The Joy Luck Club
Nu dați tot filmul acesta doar secvențe 😢
Kinjo: Die quickly, or slowly? Choose!!!.
Me: Can we talk about this first?.. I can give you my car insurance to pay for the damage...
It’s ricky tan.

Shinobi were not Assasins for hire. Furthermore why would he give her a choice in how she wants to be killed if he has orders it be quick?😂
There were different types of Shinobi, most were Intel gatherers. There were plenty in the sengoku era that fulfilled their roles as assassins.
@@Shadowman9348 You have proof of that?

the dialog reveals Kirina's bravery. If only the male characters were as brave.. . . . . .

This is FICTION. Not a documentary.
This movies is garbage.
I thought it was cool
It’s like kill bill or Bruce lee Jackie Chan movie
