Vice President Lai just took this B-18918 A350-900 to Honduras. I had the honor to be a part of his delegation and I enjoyed every second on board this aircraft.
B-18918 is probably the most intresting A350-900 in China Airlines (CI), fleet for number of reasons. 1,) Its the last A350-900 delivered to China Airlines. CI Ordered 14 A359 which where delivered between 2016-2018. 2,) Its the first A350-900 in CI fleet to feature the extended sharklets. Most of CI 13 A359 where delivered with the traditional sharklets. 3,) Its the first and only "Passenger" A350 to wear the carbon livery which where featured in the prototype air frames by Airbus. 4,) This is personnel! I own a 1/400 scale model of B-18918 by Aviation 400 and currently my favorite A350 model.
5. The B-18918 is the selected aircraft by China Airlines for the President and Vice President when they visit diplomatic allies. In January, 2022, Vice President Lai 賴清德 took the B-18918 to Honduras. I own a 1:200 model of the B-18918 and it is absolutely beautiful.

@@noodels5123 If that's the case, why China forced airlines & hotels to remove Taiwan from the name ahead of Taipei ? The Mariott hotel in Taipei have cancelled their agreement with Mariott as they removed Taiwan from the location. Maybe the owner of Mariott hotel in Taipei is patriotic person.
I understand why Taiwan get kick out so many international organizations... not because china want they to be kick out, every time taiwan representative was off topic and talk about Taiwan and China ...... even in youtube why we can’t just watch a video without talk all this stuff...
