I'm a LONG time Rush fan. I bought Caress of Steel on vinal the week it came out. (ya, I'm old) I have seen them live 32 times. I've never been overly impressed with Rush cover or tribute bands. The odd time signatures, syncopated rhythms, and a vocal range that most rockers could only hope to be able to achieve. These guys are outstanding. The song isn't overly difficult to play, BUT to nail it the way they did is IMPRESSIVE. No lag on the drums, he's directing and forceful, keyboards were dead on, guitar rhythm and solo done tastefully as Alex intended and the vocals about as good as you can hope for not being Geddy. There is only 1 Rush, but for a substitute, I'd go see them, sit front row and rock my brains out. My influences as a player are Lifeson of course, followed by Clapton, Rhodes, Lynch and Jimmy Page. I hope these guys continue to play for years to come. If not in a band, then just for the sheer joy of creating and playing. Music is a gift. It's the soundtrack of our lives. Bless you all guys. ALL musicians, you have a gift so share it. Weather it's on stage, a YT channel or just with the neighbor kid you want to pass along the journey to. -Phantom out!
I was shock this band sounds just like the real RUSH . I'm an older but listen to them since I was16 an now 68 . But still there will never be RUSH band like them. I went 10 times to see them in concert never fail me.
@@suetieman9217 I've been a Rush fan since Caress of Steel! (I'm 62 now) 17 live shows including 2 shows in 4 months in the Grace tour. Great minds think alike!
I'm just going to chime in and say what everyone else is saying. Long, long, longtime Rush fan going back to the early 80s and Permanent Waves. This was an awesome performance! Rush is an incredibly hard band to cover, and you guys did a fantastic job!! It makes me very happy knowing their music is safe in the hands of the next generation.
Great job the best I've ever heard been a bass player. 40 yrs getty and Steve Harris are my inspiration. Song reminds me of high school. We really where going through it as the video
Wow! Out of this world good - one of those rare tribute covers that serves so much to remind us how out of this universe good Rush truly was. Thanks for sharing, hope the crowd realized what special talents you brought to the country club!
Surprisingly great mix! Great vocals, great transitioning from the keyboard to the bass, great tone on guitar, great drums tones and playing. You guys nailed it!
Thanks Scott. An unexpected good capture from a cell phone and our 2nd show together. If you have a second check out the one we played in November. Nice venue called the Garden Amphitheater. If you make it to LA let us know we’ll grab a beer (or equivalent). Happy Holidays…
Damn… that was really good. The best part is that the singer… while within the Geddy Lee vocal range, he wasn’t trying to sound like Geddy Lee, if that makes sense. Basically, he sang as himself, and it happened to work nicely
Wow to the 3 of you!..... It must feel wonderful to have the ability and charm to play that well and own it, really nailed it boys love good sounding music, you guys have awesome talent!!!!!!.......🙋🏾♂️👏🏾🙋🏾♂️👏🏾🙋🏾♂️👏🏾🙋🏾♂️👏🏾
When you sound good with an average sound: mission accomplished. The less good the capture, the better the interpretation has to be. Thus they prove that they are efficient.
That’s a wise and much appreciated insight. This was our 2nd show together. Nothing fancy. Just a raw love for the original and our best (at the time) recreation of the vibe.
Thanks Mike. This was our second time performing live as a band. We’re a little over a year into playing together now. I’m the drummer and love playing with these guys. Check out Jacob’s Ladder on our channel if you want a deeper track!
Based on those biceps I pity the those sticks! Thanks for watching! Please check out our demo video on our channel. Want to boost that one! Hope to see you at a show sometime.

vinyl.
@@titanuranus Time to get a new prescription for my glasses I guess!
The vocals are a definite weak point and the synth's are not quite right. Its not bad considering the difficulty but it needs work.
