Now if you're a Colts fan the thing you love the most about Carson Wentz's stat line is no interceptions to go along with 225 yards on 18/28 throwing from the field with two touchdowns.
He maintained great composure and carried his team to a huge win, in the face of many doubters, and at the best time.
He only has 6 interceptions to 25 touchdowns this season. 3rd fewest in the NFL. Us Wentz fans don't worry too much about him - he handles his business majority of the time.

Wentz was stuck in Philly with no weapons and a shoddy O line, and was constantly turning the ball over. now look at him. hell if we want to look the other way, the Ravens got decimated by injuries and Lamar's been in a slump since the Vikings game. tho when youre relying on Devonta Freeman and Latavius Murray 5 years past their prime in the run game with an equally underwhelming O line and Greg Roman is calling plays i cant say i blame him.

What a nice W! I didn’t expect this at all. I love this Colts D. They are very resilient. Also, Wentz stepped up in the 4th quarter and threw two big passes, which put the game away, after an average first half and poor 3rd quarter.

Wow, definitely a little bit different of a feel from last weeks game. With Jonathan Taylor breaking that long run at the beginning of the game instead of the end it almost felt like we were playing in The Upside Down. Going in without Nelson, Leonard, Glowinski, and Kelly was scary enough. Then Doyle, Fisher and Reed go down in the first...
Colts response: Somebody let me hold a no. 2 pencil ✏ cuz they testin! And we passed that test baby. This game really showed the heart this team has and it was a well deserved win. Wentz has definitely proven he’s a good quarterback when he’s protected. When he has time to make good decisions he will make them along with a good throw
I’m a colts fan through and through but Wentz has proven very little to me. He missed a lot of wide-open throws tonight that would have put this game out of reach. Luckily our defense, even without Leonard, kept Kyler Murray and co. in check. Wentz gets scared with any rush. He had plenty of time to step into a lot of those back footed throws that he missed.
Great win nonetheless.
The Colts are one of the unique stories of 2021. I had faith in them since I saw how good they could be vs Rams in week 2. Beating New England means they're a serious force in the AFC. Wentz has been inconsistent, but this could be one of those playoffs like 2007 and 2012. Eli Manning 2007, and Joe Flacco 2012, or even Foles 2017, all shocked the hell out of me. A so so QB suddenly gets it together for a brief shining moment.
wentz was never inconsistent. the stats show that because jt has been getting a lot of carries so wentz hasnt thrown it much

Colts showed so much in this game. Especially in the 3rd quarter when the Cardinals had all the momentum and the stadium was rocking!! But as the game progressed the Colts slowly took it back. Colts pass rush came alive tonight and this was one of the only other things they needed to come together more to truly compete for a Superbowl. Great win
If only we could do it with just a four-man rush like we did with Freeney and Mathis. Although with their constant pass rush they left major holes in the run game. Could you imagine this team with a healthy Andrew Luck?

I’m an Eagles fan, and to this day I feel that letting Wentz go was a mistake, but I’m really glad and happy for him to be playing the way he is, right now!!! Just the other day I saw Marcus Spears argue with Dan Orlovsky saying he didn’t trust Carson Wentz to win a game at the end! This ought to dispel that idea! Now, I know the playoffs is a whole different world, but the way these guys are playing, makes me think they can make a run in the playoffs!!!

I hope that Hurts grows into being a better passer, but its year 2 and it hasn't happened. As a Niners fan I'm glad the colts won despite they had a ton of injuries they played their heart out. I still like and respect Carson Wentz as a qb. I wish we had wentz as a qb instead of Jimmy Glasspolo. Good Christmas game for sure. I'll also give credit to arizona as well they tried to come back but it was to late.
