I find and meet a lot of friendly people along the way. San Onofre Surf Beach is famous for it's Old Man's surf spot known for it's long rolling waves that are great for long boards and begging surfers.

Yes, I love the Nox however prior to Equinox 800, I used a Sovereign GT and that would be my choice for hunting GOLD on the beach.

Every winter we are invaded by Canada, Lol! our nick name for them are the Snow birds! Many Canadians spend the winter months in SoCal so I have many of Canadian friends that I play golf with during the winter months. Thank you! We will be much better off we the plan is complete.

Yes, Tom is an awesome dude, he played in our group in a golf tournament once a few years ago and I being a big fan was just trying not to choke. Lol! He is smooth and still can out surf most of them today.

Huge Congratulations on the gold Jim, I’m so excited for you. What a great accomplishment by investigating that signal. That just proves the Equinox is a (Dig it all Machine).... for the most part. Great example for the new users why you should never notch out those #’s. On your next trip test it out in the gold mode in the dry sand compared to the beach mode. Try and use the highest KHZ frequency on the 800, in the gold mode. I want to see some testing on that target, I just wonder how many people have skipped over broken, sized diamond rings. The higher frequencies for the low conductors, I really want to see that test. Thanks Jim GL/HH
I was thinking the same thing, normally VLF gets the gold, it will be fun to see. Gold Mode turns the nox into a whole new machine. Certainly dig it all machine, but it still drives me nuts on how a great target can disappear take a scoop and there it is! My only negative about the Nox. Thanks James!
