Are there any apps that can just scan an items barcode and then give you a list of all coupons available? I never know what brand food I'm going to buy or sometimes what items I will end up buying so printing coupons is hard.
I don't have any of those stores but I do have a publix which i assume is similar to Albertsons. All you do is get one of their store coupons ( you can find those in store or in the news paper) and use it with a manufacturer coupon. Some stores will even allow you to use a competitor cupon (another stores ckupon) in place of their store coupon with a comptetitor. I know target also allows this. It all depends on the stores coupon policy really.
Typically you can use 2 coupons in any store if they have their own store brand coupons. You then use one store coupon and one manufacturer's coupon on the same item. The issue is usually store coupons are for store brand items (or produce) so there is no other coupon to stack with it. A lot of the multiple "coupons" they are talking about is actually a coupon plus rebates in an app, which is money you spend up front and then get it later.
Great Tip Coupon Ladies! "Have your items separated with their coupons" But I do want to add to it.From a cashier's perspective: Not all the stores/cashiers are the same when it comes to coupons and their items. I always loved it when customers came to my register organized. It makes it easier on everyone involved (the cashier, yourself, and the people in line behind you) if you are organized. I don't work at a grocery store anymore but I'm in customer service at a clothing store and I still love it when people are organized with returns.
+echomendez So long as they don't feel entitled and are actually raising their children to become respectable people as best they can, they can be a "leech" in my opinion. It make take a village to raise a child but the primary influence is still with the parents.
Michael Ambrose But it's not the truth. She's important. The house would fall a part without her. If she didn't stay home and take care of the kids, how would a man be able to work? Food on the table, kids cleaned and ready for the next day. She is also saving the family a lot of money. So I think she's rather important with her schedule.
Simon it's not NEARLY the same. Trader Joe's has some very cool items, granted, but the variety sucks, plus the quality can be so much lower from the brands at Whole Foods. It happens when one company decides it can be good at everything. I personally prefer to buy from brands that produce specific products. You can't be equally good at growing fruits and growing cows.
I work at whole foods. Trader Joes is pretty sketch. We have all our organic stuff verified through the non GMO Project (as well as NON GMO conventional items ) TJs doesn't do that. We have a rating system for our meat, seafood and now produce. We're very transparent and we support local business. That's why you can find some stuff at certain whole foods and not others. Also, cool random fact, we have complete traceability on our seafood. We can trace it back to the boat it came off of. Don't think trader joes can do that. Sorry to get defensive. Trader Joes for sure has their niche. But when it comes to WF you get what you pay for.
Fr34k1nAw3s0m3 Yeah, you work at Whole Foods and I doubt you can afford to shop there for all of your groceries, unless you have someone in your house with a better job.
+Simon I actually can afford to shop there. These ladies are pretty on par. Even without all their ridiculous rebate apps (which ain't nobody got time for!) you just have to know how to shop there. It's really the best bang for your buck. And you get what you pay for. Quality wise and Customer Service wise.
I was talked into going to a Whole Foods the other day. Bought some cheese I wanted to try, It was very good. At $6.00/ 3 OZ seemed high. Found the same brand from other stores $15.99 per pound, Whole Foods would have been over $30 per pound. Looked at fresh fish. 3 times the price as our wholesale fish market who gets theirs flown in. under ripe Avocados for 2.60 each my local store is 99¢ ea and don't have to wait 3 days to use them. I'll leave Whole Foods to these two ladies who like those great prices. And stick to the co-op.
I've been couponing for years but fell out of the habit for a while. As much as I thought I was a pro, after watching a few of your videos I realize there's lots of new tricks to learn especially when it comes to rebate apps. You've got me excited to get back in the game!
Can you do a video or explain to me how you use your coupons from those apps when it comes to checkout. I do not have a smart phone yet, but would like to know for future reference. TY

Can you do one for CVS and Giant, please. I always shop there. It would be a big help if you showed great ways how to save more, and what day of the week would be better to shop for grocery that's on sale or clearance.
This is a cool video but where are these apps? they say them so quickly and ive never heard of them before. can just show an app to the clerk? they dont have to be from whole foods?

Without touching Whole Foods merchandise, I visually determined that this location was sold out of the brand of soap that I wanted therefore I proceeded to the exit. Before reaching the exit, I was stopped by Troy a Whole Foods Associate who informed me that I could not put Whole Foods merchandise into my bag without first paying for it. Further, he stated that there’s a sign had been posted near the entrance. I also noticed that the store security officer had moved from the entrance and positioned himself at the top of the stairway used to exit from the lower level of the store. but WHAT do you COOK with a zucchini, white chocolate, almond milk, .50 cents worth of peanuts, stew beef, and a box of random salad toppings and some gravy? Thats my problem with couponing is that even though you can save so much, its only if you are buying things you didnt want, and allow the sales and coupons to dictate your menu.
Oh I wish you did too. You haven't lived until you been there. I'm not rich by any means and I refuse to buy soap, nailpolish and certain food anywhere other than wf. I hope you get one, it's great, no matter what how the aldis shoppers feel
It will be interesting to watch how WF does now that Amazon has taken them over. So far it looks promising with prices down while quality has not gone down.
I know u guys were trying to save as much as you can, but you couldn't have donated the 10 cents per bag instead of getting the credit. The donations usually go to local charities. I'm not a millionaire but I still donate the credit every time I go to Whole Foods.
Anna M. My thoughts exactly. Most of this is crap that are not necessities. You're not actually saving money if you only buy something because you have a coupon, if it's not something you were planning to but anyway, then you just spend unnecessary money.
I disagree. You shouldn’t be out getting family needs every week, or else you are simply buying crap because you have a coupon. Grocery shopping has become a backwards concept: you should make a list and work with items ALREADY in the home, then supplement with what is ALREADY able to be reduced with sales/coupons what have you. Then make meals and whatever you need. Brand loyalty and comfort in the same thing will not work if you live like this.
Are there any apps that can just scan an items barcode and then give you a list of all coupons available? I never know what brand food I'm going to buy or sometimes what items I will end up buying so printing coupons is hard.
What is the name of this app please?
I don't know how you use both coupons. I haven't been in a store yet that will allow two coupons on one item.
What stores do you go to?
Fred Meyers, WinCo., Albertsons, Trader Joe's are my typical places to shop.
I don't have any of those stores but I do have a publix which i assume is similar to Albertsons. but WHAT do you COOK with a zucchini, white chocolate, almond milk, .50 cents worth of peanuts, stew beef, and a box of random salad toppings and some gravy? Thats my problem with couponing is that even though you can save so much, its only if you are buying things you didnt want, and allow the sales and coupons to dictate your menu.
holds up the line for an hr lol
Oh, I wish I had a Whole Foods store in my area !!!!
Oh I wish you did too. You haven't lived until you been there. I'm not rich by any means and I refuse to buy soap, nailpolish and certain food anywhere other than wf. I hope you get one, it's great, no matter what how the aldis shoppers feel
The problem is the majority of the stuff that is on sale I don't even eat ☹️, but this is great for people who do and love sales👍
full size Milky Way ?
My kids are fun to shop with, they just make me spend more!
Can you do one for trader joes
We will definitely put that request on the list of video ideas for 2015!
AND Earthfare please?
It will be interesting to watch how WF does now that Amazon has taken them over. So far it looks promising with prices down while quality has not gone down.
When you're in Canada and this doesn't apply to you at all cause we can only use 1 coupon per item....
For me, in Australia, it's usually only one voucher per transaction.
Yeah but you still have to put up the money before all the rebates.
I know u guys were trying to save as much as you can, but you couldn't have donated the 10 cents per bag instead of getting the credit. The donations usually go to local charities. I'm not a millionaire but I still donate the credit every time I go to Whole Foods.
you are lucky.... here in belgium, you can not cumulate coupons on 1 item
this is intense, I've never seen couponing like this.. could you list the apps you used
Did she say " 15 dollar bill"?
Is that a iPhone 6 or 6 Plus? btw great video!
The Krazy Coupon Lady is a keeper. I would be lucky if that happened to me .
What they are buying may be discounted but isn't what a family need for weekly grocery shopping
