    Are there any apps that can just scan an items barcode and then give you a list of all coupons available? I never know what brand food I'm going to buy or sometimes what items I will end up buying so printing coupons is hard.

    I don't know how you use both coupons. I haven't been in a store yet that will allow two coupons on one item.

      What stores do you go to?

    • @TheLutzFamily1

      Fred Meyers, WinCo., Albertsons, Trader Joe's are my typical places to shop.

    • @lucky22licious

      I don't have any of those stores but I do have a publix which i assume is similar to Albertsons. All you do is get one of their store coupons ( you can find those in store or in the news paper) and use it with a manufacturer coupon. Some stores will even allow you to use a competitor cupon (another stores ckupon) in place of their store coupon with a comptetitor. I know target also allows this. It all depends on the stores coupon policy really.

      I know Publix well. My husband used to work for them when we lived in Florida. Now we are in Oregon. :D

      Typically you can use 2 coupons in any store if they have their own store brand coupons. You then use one store coupon and one manufacturer's coupon on the same item. The issue is usually store coupons are for store brand items (or produce) so there is no other coupon to stack with it. A lot of the multiple "coupons" they are talking about is actually a coupon plus rebates in an app, which is money you spend up front and then get it later.

    Great Tip Coupon Ladies!
    "Have your items separated with their coupons" But I do want to add to it.From a cashier's perspective: Not all the stores/cashiers are the same when it comes to coupons and their items. I always loved it when customers came to my register organized. It makes it easier on everyone involved (the cashier, yourself, and the people in line behind you) if you are organized. I don't work at a grocery store anymore but I'm in customer service at a clothing store and I still love it when people are organized with returns.

    You know how to save at Whole Foods? Shop at Trader Joe's instead.

    • @lawsonlena
      @lawsonlena 9 років тому +9

      Simon it's not NEARLY the same. Trader Joe's has some very cool items, granted, but the variety sucks, plus the quality can be so much lower from the brands at Whole Foods. It happens when one company decides it can be good at everything. I personally prefer to buy from brands that produce specific products. You can't be equally good at growing fruits and growing cows.

    • @Abbey_Layne
      @Abbey_Layne 9 років тому +15

      I work at whole foods. Trader Joes is pretty sketch. We have all our organic stuff verified through the non GMO Project (as well as NON GMO conventional items ) TJs doesn't do that. We have a rating system for our meat, seafood and now produce. We're very transparent and we support local business. That's why you can find some stuff at certain whole foods and not others. Also, cool random fact, we have complete traceability on our seafood. We can trace it back to the boat it came off of. Don't think trader joes can do that.
      Sorry to get defensive. Trader Joes for sure has their niche. But when it comes to WF you get what you pay for.

    I was talked into going to a Whole Foods the other day. Bought some cheese I wanted to try, It was very good. At $6.00/ 3 OZ seemed high. Found the same brand from other stores $15.99 per pound, Whole Foods would have been over $30 per pound. Looked at fresh fish. 3 times the price as our wholesale fish market who gets theirs flown in. under ripe Avocados for 2.60 each my local store is 99¢ ea and don't have to wait 3 days to use them.
    I'll leave Whole Foods to these two ladies who like those great prices. And stick to the co-op.

    3:28 I'm pretty sure you can't combine coupons at Whole Foods like that. Places like Target will let you do a store coupon plus a manufacturer coupon, but I'm pretty sure Whole Foods doesn't. Because their store coupons always say "limit 1 coupon per item" or something like that

    • @asantoyo07

    I entered the Whole Food Market / Foggy Bottom, Washington, DC with the intent of purchasing bath soap. I was carrying a reusable grocery bag containing two items I had just purchased from CVS.
    Without touching Whole Foods merchandise, I visually determined that this location was sold out of the brand of soap that I wanted therefore I proceeded to the exit.
    Before reaching the exit, I was stopped by Troy a Whole Foods Associate who informed me that I could not put Whole Foods merchandise into my bag without first paying for it. Further, he stated that there’s a sign had been posted near the entrance.
    I also noticed that the store security officer had moved from the entrance and positioned himself at the top of the stairway used to exit from the lower level of the store.
    I am concerned as to why Troy needed to remind me of a store policy that I had not remotely violated as I had not so much as touched Whole Foods merchandise and why a security officer was placed on “stand-by”.
    Is Whole Foods / Foggy Bottom profiling, everyone, with a reusable bag as a thief. Or, do I fit a particular profile?

I would only use the "Amy's", "Honest Tea" ones. I don't have to shop there as much now that major chains like Target and Ralph's sell Amy's for much cheaper. Ralph's also has their own coupons they mail out every 3 months or so.

    Why would you shop at Whole Foods Markup ?

  • @saintpansy
    @saintpansy 6 років тому

    I remember one of my first jobs was at a food store, it was second day working and my trainer had to leave me at the register she told me to keep scanning peoples stuff. A couple minutes later this lady came through my line and dumped a huge pile of coupons and looked annoyed the whole time i was typing in the codes because i was slow... after that it was my worst fear.

    But with the rebate apps you dont get the money off right then so this would cost way more than $20 up front

    • @TheKrazyCouponLady
      @TheKrazyCouponLady  5 років тому

      Yup! There is a section on the deal breakdown that says what you pay at the register and what the Final Price is after the rebates have been added :)

    • @TheKrazyCouponLady
      @TheKrazyCouponLady  7 років тому

      Hey Kayla! You can search all manufacturer coupons available using the link below! If they're newspaper coupons, we'll tell you where to find them, and if they're printables, we'll link you directly to the coupon to print. Our app is a great resource for coupons! I included a link to learn more below. :)
      Coupons --> thekrazycouponlady.com/print-coupons
      KCL App --> app.thekrazycouponlady.com/

    but WHAT do you COOK with a zucchini, white chocolate, almond milk, .50 cents worth of peanuts, stew beef, and a box of random salad toppings and some gravy? Thats my problem with couponing is that even though you can save so much, its only if you are buying things you didnt want, and allow the sales and coupons to dictate your menu.

    I know u guys were trying to save as much as you can, but you couldn't have donated the 10 cents per bag instead of getting the credit. The donations usually go to local charities. I'm not a millionaire but I still donate the credit every time I go to Whole Foods.

    What they are buying may be discounted but isn't what a family need for weekly grocery shopping

    • @MahalaniM
      @MahalaniM 8 років тому +4

      Anna M. My thoughts exactly. Most of this is crap that are not necessities. You're not actually saving money if you only buy something because you have a coupon, if it's not something you were planning to but anyway, then you just spend unnecessary money.

    • @ayanasimpson2508
      @ayanasimpson2508 4 роки тому

      I disagree. You shouldn’t be out getting family needs every week, or else you are simply buying crap because you have a coupon. Grocery shopping has become a backwards concept: you should make a list and work with items ALREADY in the home, then supplement with what is ALREADY able to be reduced with sales/coupons what have you. Then make meals and whatever you need. Brand loyalty and comfort in the same thing will not work if you live like this.
