Jammu and Kashmir acceded to India on 26 October 1947. Accession was same like other 550 princely states that merged with India. And Article 370 implemented in Indian constitution on 1950. So as per accession there is nothing to do with Article 370. It was temporary and its history.

Abdul Basit has been repeatedly, consistently and thoroughly lying and misinforming about Jammu and Kashmir high court and Indian supreme Court's previous orders as regards to permanent and irreversible feature of article 370 and 35A in Indian constitution. Both courts had mentioned that since article 370 and 35A had been brought in through parliamentary resolution and in case these had to be abrogated, its route is through parliamentary resolution only. Courts on their own find themselves incapable of laws enacted through parliamentary resolution. If Abdul Basit has least of active mental faculties, both these laws were abrogated by President of India after getting approved by both houses of parliament with a huge majority. Later on, constitution bench of Supreme Court also ratified decision of parliament and President of India with a strength of 5-0. Abdul Basit must stop misleading people of Pakistan.
Abdul Basit is again speaking blatant lie over families of Jammu getting permanent residency and citizenship at Jammu only. Abdul Basit must know that these were the families got migrated from Pakistan during partition in 1947. These families got settled in Jammu region and were never given fundamental rights of citizenship during last 75 years due to hurdle of articles 370 and 35A. These migrants could never get government job, despite being highly educated, could not have house of their own and could never exercise voting rights. Abdul Basit must be educated and informed enough that all other migrants from Pakistan who settled in other different states of India have been getting basic and fundamental rights under the constitution since last 75 years. See the mean minded thinking of Abdul Basit by advocating that these migrants must have been granted citizenship in other states of India, despite the fact that they have been living in Jammu region since last 75 years. Other states have already absorbed partition migrants 75 years back. Shame on you Abdul Basit for your mean minded thinking.
