CYR THERE! A film about the POWER of HOOPLAHOMA

Cyr There! (See her there!) is a film by Elisabeth Slay, who I met in Shawnee, Oklahoma, while performing an Inspyral Circus Show at the Shawnee Library.
After meeting, Elisabeth wanted to know more about what I do. We filmed an interview and some hoop making at my grandma's house, then she came along with me to Stars and Stripes Park, where last year (2019) we had a weekly meet up on Wednesday evenings. Elisabeth got to experience our Wednesday night Spin Jam, a free event for everyone and anyone who wants to learn hoops, juggling, or work on their own circus skills. The Spin Jam will continue in 2020 as a place and time for people of any age or skill level to come play and join in the circus fun. After her visit to Stars and Stripes, Elisabeth joined me and the performers of Inspyral Circus at the Grand Opening of Scissortail Park in Oklahoma City. Inspyral Circus was founded by the dynamic duo Kelsey and Jeremy Philo, who are featured as giant butterflies in this video, and who were the most important source of inspiration for me when I began this journey. A true power couple, Kelsey and Jeremy have inspired and empowered not only me, but countless others through their inspirational and engaging circus programs. I am so proud to now be a part of the expanded Inspyral Circus Team, working together to spread our magic all over Oklahoma and beyond!
