Flying Solo is my first Rachel Welch wig and I've been buying styles for about 4 years! I don't know everything about styling and protecting the HD fibers but I do watch videos on care. Flying Solo is so comfortable that I forget I am wearing a wig.

Wow, these new caps are going to be a huge step up for me, as covering my bio-hair with a wig cap first to secure a wig kinda irritates my hairline with itchiness. I’m loving all the wigs you reviewed bit ‘Current Event’ especially caught my attention. Thank you Marlene..🥰

Love the new caps! I can’t wear some of my RW wigs more than a few hours due to itching.
Hi, thank you for stopping by. I'm sorry to hear the caps become itching after a few hours. Have you considered wearing a bamboo cap under the wigs? Bamboo caps are designed for those with sensitive scalp or to prevent the itching. I know Henry Margu offers one that is one size, and Jon Renau's bamboo caps are available in petite, average, and large. xoxo Marlene
How would you compare flying solo to portrait mode?
Hi, the biggest difference is that Flying Solo has a Luxlite cap (partially hand-tied), & left part; Portrait Mode has a weft cap, full mono top. Both styles have Hd fibers. There is also a slight difference in measurements.

Front: 6.5"
Crown: 11.5"
Side: 8"
Back: 10"
Nape: 5"
Weight: 3.5 oz
Here are the measurements for Portrait Mode:
Front: 8" | Side: 8.5" | Back: 9.5" | Crown: 11.5" | Nape: 4"
