Mid 70's I was hauling new GM products. When in St Louis, we'd stay at a motel near the river. It had a steak house and bar...with entertainment. I got to see The Kendall's there several times. One night, they came out to play and Jeannie's little brother, about 10 or 12 at the time, sang with them. His voice was as big as his Daddy's and every bit as good! We were all just stunned when we heard him. I'm wondering if anyone know's his where abouts or what happend to him?
I'm the keyboard player, and yes, Jeannie was an only child.... and, yes, it was VERY hot.. whew.!!! Pretty miserable.... they were hosing off the crowd, etc... 'good memories though :O) ...
heywilbur hey I been to jamboree in the hills a few times you said you were their keyboard player so I guess you would know about how they traveled...ie in a bus what type of set up did they have and so on myself I use to play guitar for a band that opened for them I was not with the band at the time just would hear them talk about them so any info you can offer would be great and as for you are you still playing key's....thanks hope to hear from you.. R.A. Beckley. wva.
@@RobertA-gl2im Hi... sorry its taken a year! But I haven't seen this video in that long. Anyway, we had a nice bus... its was a Silver Eagle which was the best at the time, in most people's opinion . There were nice MCI's as well, but Eagles had the cushy ride, etc. I think it was an early 70's model, so it wasn't that old when they bought it, prob late 70's. They bought it from Ernest Tubb. There were horseshoes everywhere :-) ... We had 11 people which was a lot for one bus, but wasn't too bad. I joined them in Jan 1980 and left in mid 1983. When I joined they had just put a new motor in, so the odometer was reset to "00000"... when I left it had 370,000+ and I rode on 98% of those miles... all the gigs anyway. Whew. Makes me tired now to think about it... ha! Cheers, ws
When I watch this, I'm reminded that America isn't just one country. It's a bunch of countries. This sure isn't the America I grew up with--it's like a foreign country.
When people sound good live ,that goes to show you that , that is real talent ! They never faltered in their harmonizing either .
great live video
Actually, Jamboree in the Hills is in St. Clairsville, OH - near Belmont, OH in southeastern part of the state off I-70 near Wheeling, WV.
Exactly, she keeps perfect time with the music, very sexy how she moves

Unless you work for him.
This chick looks so much like Mexico's Alicia Villarreal, except Alicia sounds like a mix of this girl and Tanya Tucker ;-)

She would have been a lot cooler in a bikini
