I used placement and accuracy for 23, idk it just feels so much different now. Receivers get 0 separation, and the balls are constantly overthrown, i just wish madden would get the gameplay down first before focusing on the looks of the players lmao
They have had this glitch in the game. Since 06
For me it’s not even the passing, it’s the WRs dropping open balls, or they get swatted or some shit, while I’m aggressive catching, like it’s impossible to catch with anyone near you
Have you figured it out? I just started playing and this is my problem. They dropped 4 passes after catching it just cause the defender touches them.
@@BillyBong yeah. I have my stuff set to placement and accuracy and I try to free form the passes by hold the left trigger when throwing and I try to aim the ball to where only my receiver can get to it and also without them having to slow down for the ball
@@BillyBong just keep playing around and you’ll end up figuring it out the more you play, takes a week or so and you’ll get the hang of it
@pauliefrankenhauseriii2739 but it's not even me, it's the receivers, they just drop every perfect throw just because they get hit in the leg. How am I gonna get better at that? I have 6 tds and 10 picks in 11 games it's ridiculous. I can't throw the ball any better and the receivers have the ball in their hand and never secure it.

Something I noticed both in your video and from testing is that the text 'Lob pass' isn't showing up. It always seems to say 'touch pass', even if you tap quickly.
there’s a passing timing bar that is separated into four ticks/four sections, the first tick is the timing you need to hit for lob pass. The 2nd and third ticks are for touch, and the 4th tick is for bullet. If you’re touching instead of lobbing then it’s because you’re still pressing the button for too long. Press it for as briefly as you possibly can and i guarantee you’ll get a lob pass

Placement and accuracy is where its at. You can have any QB easly throw 60+, if you can judge the reticle distance.

So when I have a guy wide up 99 Mahomes ultimate team, L2 for free form touch pass it and free form and moved my left stick up its in the green and say out of reach when the ball is right infront of my WR that’s how I am Lossing games can u tell me what I doing wrong
When I try to throw away in 24 (xbox) on the run the QB always stops to try and set his feet which results in a lot of sacks. I've tried this with different teams and QBs is there a way to fix it?
Once you change the options to classic, do you have to do that militarily on every game or once you change it it stays like that

Someone in the comments said it perfectly. Madden is trying to make passing as hard as NBA 2k made shooting in 2k23. These companies need to realize they're making video games. The user still needs to have fun. I've never struggled this hard with passing in Madden.

Maaaan...I have to use the "Free Form" reticle against the Cpu in Regs. (All Pro) 🤬 Rant Time🤣: Michael Thomas and Juwan Johnson from the Saints are only 86 speed and they cooked the Bengals secondary over and over...like 5 straight games. Whenever the Saints desperately needed a First Down, some BS was about to happen. The Bengals have 8 90+ Speed guys in the Secondary and 13 guys faster than Thomas and Johnson🙄🙄 I switched to the Jets and Sauce was getting ate up by Olave. I know it's the CPU and it's gonna do some B.S. but DAMN. I thought this was the year I was gonna graduate to All Madden. I gotta get my "Free From" game up. 🤣🤣🤣
you definitely can't use Classic if you're not using the Elite Qb's in the game.. I tried and threw 7 ints.. never again
Wrong I use Classic same as last year but it is a little harder because the defense movement is better but as he said if your more of a medium range passer than Classic is a GO!

1st Step up in the pocket. (Don’t Drop Back) 2nd press L2 then up on the left stick for deep throws

I thought passing was hard at first but i tried using placement, not placement and accuracy, and once you figure that out it gets really easy tbh. Most my drives are just 50+ lobs for tds
I be using placement a lot too. I think that's the way but I'm not 100 percent sure yet
Placement “& power” is def the way, night & day difference once I switched over…but I think long run if you figure out placement & accuracy you’ll be better off long term vs the way pass coverage is this year
I agree on the placement and power. I'm still trying to master the different power on throws. Right now I'm trying to master a touch bullet pass.

I use placement and accuracy and I'm 13-1 I'm a dot God got highlights to prove it on channel.
Sucks that Madden 24 had to resort to WWE levels of button combos in order to pass. I’ve noticed I’ve ran the ball a lot more with more success compared to the 50 percent passing attempts. It sucks.

Used to be able to use the bumpers to do high and low, mix that with the tap to lob and hold to bullet pass, and you already have the perfect system. Why the developers think this is 2k is beyond me.

Madden is trying to make the passing game like 2k basketball's shooting game. I've never had this much trouble trying to throw the ball. Sometimes I get perfect accuracy, sometimes I don't. Sometimes I have complete control where the ball goes. Sometimes I don't.
This right here. The passing meter is more important than ever and you have to get it just right or its a bad throw. Its such bullshit.

I hate the passing on madden 24.. you throw a great touch pass.. and it has the arc of a bullet pass.. defender just casually jumps 50 feet in the air and deflects every pass.. man it’s so frustrating.

i dont have a big problem passing had to make some adjustments but nothing crazy, all the people bitching clearly don't understand real NFL passing is difficult, you cant just high point a pass on every play now. hell i scored 65 points on someone yesterday. mostly passing in regs, but when i pass I use proper mechanic and throw at the proper angles. had 400 yards passing and 5 td. i like it cause yoiu cant just spam bs all game and if your late on a pass its a int. all that running out the pocket cross body thrown bs not going to work

When you say they nerf the high passes, what do you mean by that? I sure hope it’s not a huge nerf, as I used that option a lot, i always throw it high or over my defenders.
I toss the ball where the computer can’t reach it, are you saying that function is broken now? This is what made me like madden 23 so much. If my opponent can’t affect the ball then I consider that a safer throw over tossing close to defender

I've learned a long time ago, if you can properly make your read a don't move too far back when dropping back, then I'm good. Off script plays is another story.

The lob pass, you can't ever guarantee! I ALWAYS try to lob pass, 75% of the time it ends up as a touch pass and then becomes a pick 6. This game isn't finished. Just looks is updated.

Just completed my first ever corner route with a guy wide open using classic. That’s where it’s at every other time. Poor accuracy, Dirtball, bullshit I’m done with it.
My problem is they drop 50 % of my passes that land perfectly in their hands. Possibly 75%

Man i never even played madden and got 20 touchdowns already but damn the last team in career mode i went against was hard as shit to beat they were just as good as us so kept having to switch up my plays we were tied at the last 33 seconds but i pulled off a miracle and got oassed them and ran like a missle and got the final touchdown it was funny the dude behind me fell 😂😂😂

I don't know what to do anymore. My WRs are free, I throw a perfect lob or touch pass which is led away from the defender, but the ball still doesn't get to them. At least 90% of the throws are swatted away, intercepted or incomplete. The game is making me depressed. I really want to play a football game, but Madden 24 is by far the worst one I've ever played.
