We do not see any temples from the pre-British era, known as Hindu temples. During British rule, the Brahmins started putting a Barat of Idols in all our temples to pocket the revenue and started calling it the Hindu temple. Hence, we had no followers of the Hindu religion between the Vedic times and the British era. We still vote for our caste / Polythistic religion. The founders of the nation were wise people in giving us a secular constitution and not a Hindu / Brahminvadi constitution, which the Brahmins of RSS want to create now.
