Same here. Expensive children's toy. The thing is, these reviewers who get free samples of these devices will never tell how actually shitty they are in real use. All entry level NAS'es that do not allow RAM upgrades and have less than 4 core CPU's are not worth looking at IMO.

Can I use it like a drive bay or does it have to run on a raid setup?
It has to be attached to a network. If you want to attach it straight to your pc, get a DAS instead.
What is his copy speed from a computer, for example? Is there enough 1GB of RAM? Not lagging?
What were the Hard Drives that you have installed?
