      I thought that it only accepted 3.5 inch HDDs. Is that not the case?

      Thanks, for Watching Michael, Defanatly work considering if you have a lot of data, or need to access it from different locations, saves having a huge amount of cloud storage or devices with lots of storage.

    Can I use it like a drive bay or does it have to run on a raid setup?

      It has to be attached to a network. If you want to attach it straight to your pc, get a DAS instead.

    This thing is trash at best. Hardly can load images.

      Same here. Expensive children's toy. The thing is, these reviewers who get free samples of these devices will never tell how actually shitty they are in real use. All entry level NAS'es that do not allow RAM upgrades and have less than 4 core CPU's are not worth looking at IMO.
