This video about what is coco peat, how it is made and its usage in gardening
.How a dry coco peat block is converted into wet loose coco peat medium ready for planting directly or adding it in our soil mixes.
The advantageous qualities such as quick absorption of water, high retention of water,porosity favorable for aeration of roots, light weight etc are explained.
The few disadvantages such as lack of nutrients,lack of compactness of the medium are also explained.
The difference between normal soil and soil mixed coco peat are compared etc...

Excellent explaining about Cocopeat, mainly its `disadvantages` of the roots are not stubborn when sand is not added to it. Hey..! you had been a lecturer in any of the agricultural college....Nice. Could I suggest a little more in requesting you to be added to it about (i) what are the prices of Cocopeat blocks weighing 1kg, 2kg, & 5 kg. ? (ii) Are there any loose baggages of cocopeat sold in large quantity such as 10 kgs, 20 kgs, & 50 Kgs. for large farms (iii) Which is the one trusted to be the best Block (any Agro Branding on it) (iv) Can we get it online with its genuineness? (v) Can we add any chemical fertilizers also to it...

Hello Madhavi Garu, I have a very complicated question. I have already prepared the fertilizers which you have taught us but I want to know the right time to feed these fertilizers to plant.. is it at morning or evening? Everyday I water the plants at morning so do I need to add these fertilizers in the morning while watering? Or we need to give these fertilizers at evening seperately? .. kindly answer for this

Hello madam, recently I started terrace gardening with 20 plants and they are growing fine.. I still wanted to grow more plants, so can I use soil less medium with cocopeat, vermicompost, cow manure, perlite,if yes will this be ok for leafy greens? Are there any drawbacks with this medium
