When I take Piccadilly line, it's London underground, to commute between Central London to Heathrow, I always hear "Next station is Hyper Corner". "HYPER CORNER". What kind of corner is this? I always wonder. And ended up to know it's "Hyde Park Corner" This was one of my funny experience to know what Elision is☺
That's an amazing example! Good ear! Going from the B to the P sound is a bit effortful, and since they are so similar, the D there often gets dropped. From now on, I'll refer to it as Hyper Corner haha
