that was quick and easy! fishing TENKARA rod does it remind you of when you were a kid and mom or dad would tie a string to a stick, then tie a hook or safety pin to the line for you to fish with? what i like/found with tenkara style rod is that it reminds me how i fish with my fly rod with a fly or a hook and worm, wish my fly rod would break down into a small package like those tenkara rods do,, i guess i just need to spend the money to buy a good tenkara rod like i did for my fly rod
Best instructions I've seen for this. Thank you.
This is definitely the easiest way I've seen to tie this. 10/10

You won’t regret it… they are great fishing tools and in small water where short casts are the norm…. They present dry flies incredibly well.
Nice video…great tip.
Awesome video short and sweet thanks
Thanks for the positive comment... much appreciated!
What knot do you use to connect the 4x or 5x tippit to the fly line?
I just attache a Tippett ring to the level line then tie the tippet to that… very easy and quick connection to make.
Superb ideas
Can you use ordinary fluorocarbon fishing line as level line for tenkara?
every time i try, the tag end gets pulled out. ive followed the intructions, im using the same kind of dragontail line
Real good
It’s an arbor knot.
Didn’t know that. I’ve tied some knots so long that I don’t remember the name. Lol
Thanks for the video, very interesting. Can I ask why you wouldn’t just leave the slip knot at the end of the day for next time?
Good question for sure....The slip knot would come undone anyway... its also easier to organize on my Tenkera spool when there is no knot on the line.
@@JuanMoreFish Thank you so much
I couldn't watch, waiting for him to get to the point.
