The problem is that if anyone opens the guide and only sees TTG hour after hour, they aren't going to look for anything else and just assume there is more TTG in the future. In fact they probably won't even have the channel turned on, which means they won't see any advertisements for OK KO, so they won't look up the time to watch it. It's really sickening to me how early adult swim airs now. I call total BS that CN thinks kids will be in bed or whatever by 8, or hell sometimes even 7:00! Let's be honest here, TTG is only as popular as it is because Cartoon Network airs it all the freaking time. It's not popularity it's constant airing that causes these numbers and makes them look way more popular than it is.
I remember when I was a kid and watching the original Teen Titans, there was one particular episode, I forget the name but it was all about how Raven got scared from a horror movie, but didn't want to admit, which caused her to temporally lose her powers while a horror movie setting hit the Titans Tower. It played over and over and over every day. I was obsessed with OG Titans and looked forward to watching any episode that played on any day, but for a while it felt like that was the only episode they'd play when airing an OG Titans episode and I began to hate it. I can't imagine what this generation of kids is thinking, yes I know plenty of kids actually like this TTG, but there's no way they wouldn't get tired of this. And you know, when that particular episode first came out I LOVED it, I thought it was one of the most clever episodes at the time. There's no way kids today are okay with this, I feel like sooner or later, CN will end up turning away its targeted audience. Hell Nickolodeon is apparently beating them in ratings and views at this point.
I'd be upset, but then I'd also like to think this is CN's reverse psychology of getting all these kids that love TTG sick of it, that way they can pay attention to other shows. unfortunately that's probably not the case :/
CN Schedule Idea: Early mornings would be reruns of classics like Ed Edd n Eddy, Original PPG, Codename KND etc. Mid to Late Afternoon would be their Main Shows such as TTG, Steven Universe, OK KO, etc. Evenings would be Specials, Premieres, and New Episodes. (Specials can also include reruns of classics like Big Picture Show or The PPG Movie) However, New Episodes and Premieres take priority over Specials. Some more ideas as well: Reruns of classics on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, (Including some old Hanna Barbara cartoons because lets be honest, some of us dont have Boomerang lol) On the evenings of these days it would be back to main shows. Lets also mention something: Alternating shows, lets say like "TTG to PPG to TTG to PPG" etc. And of course, end the day with a 5 minute warning that the station is changing to Adult Swim. (This was a rough draft so it may be confusing lol)

Is Cartoon Network deliberately trying to kill it's potential audience? It's like they know people wanted to see OK K.O., but they're addicted to Teen Titans Go like a drug, they cancel shows or take them off the schedule completely for long periods of time... only to make more room for more Teen Titans Go. Heck any new show that CN premieres since 2016 usually vanishes from the schedule completely after 2 months, and is replaced by more TTG reruns. The worst part is that TTG isn't even a CN original like Steven Universe or OK K.O., it's made by Warner Bros. Studio and not CN's in-house studio, and yet it airs constantly. Give credit to Spongebob, at least it's actually made by Nickelodeon directly and not by another studio. This is the part about TTG that makes me the most angry is that it's not even a CN original (all while they treat other acquisitions like crap).

+James W I agree with this for the most part. The only main difference is that CN never aired Ed, Edd, n' Eddy all day every day. Scientifically speaking, the more your brain is exposed to something you enjoy, the harder it is to stay happy the more you're exposed to it. Even if kids become excited that TTG is on all day, over a relatively short amount of time even they will become tired of seeing it all the time. Even the amount of viewers they get is starting to drop by leaps and bounds ever since they began flooding the network with TTG.

This is why I don't watch TV anymore, my computer is my TV now. I watch Neflix, UA-cam all day, everyday. Every time I try to give CN a chance, there goes TTG. I try to remind myself which specific show is airing at what time, like Steven Universe, so when I'm done and TTG goes on, I turn off the TV. It's pretty sad :(

Let's be honest here, TTG is only as popular as it is because Cartoon Network airs it all the freaking time. It's not popularity it's constant airing that causes these numbers and makes them look way more popular than it is.
They even mentioned that in one of their episodes.

I remember when I was a kid and watching the original Teen Titans, there was one particular episode, I forget the name but it was all about how Raven got scared from a horror movie, but didn't want to admit, which caused her to temporally lose her powers while a horror movie setting hit the Titans Tower.
It played over and over and over every day. I was obsessed with OG Titans and looked forward to watching any episode that played on any day, but for a while it felt like that was the only episode they'd play when airing an OG Titans episode and I began to hate it. I can't imagine what this generation of kids is thinking, yes I know plenty of kids actually like this TTG, but there's no way they wouldn't get tired of this.
And you know, when that particular episode first came out I LOVED it, I thought it was one of the most clever episodes at the time. There's no way kids today are okay with this, I feel like sooner or later, CN will end up turning away its targeted audience. Hell Nickolodeon is apparently beating them in ratings and views at this point.

Early mornings would be reruns of classics like Ed Edd n Eddy, Original PPG, Codename KND etc.
Mid to Late Afternoon would be their Main Shows such as TTG, Steven Universe, OK KO, etc.
Evenings would be Specials, Premieres, and New Episodes. (Specials can also include reruns of classics like Big Picture Show or The PPG Movie) However, New Episodes and Premieres take priority over Specials.
Some more ideas as well:
Reruns of classics on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, (Including some old Hanna Barbara cartoons because lets be honest, some of us dont have Boomerang lol) On the evenings of these days it would be back to main shows.
Lets also mention something: Alternating shows, lets say like "TTG to PPG to TTG to PPG" etc.
And of course, end the day with a 5 minute warning that the station is changing to Adult Swim.
(This was a rough draft so it may be confusing lol)

Is Cartoon Network deliberately trying to kill it's potential audience? It's like they know people wanted to see OK K.O., but they're addicted to Teen Titans Go like a drug, they cancel shows or take them off the schedule completely for long periods of time... only to make more room for more Teen Titans Go. Heck any new show that CN premieres since 2016 usually vanishes from the schedule completely after 2 months, and is replaced by more TTG reruns.
The worst part is that TTG isn't even a CN original like Steven Universe or OK K.O., it's made by Warner Bros. Studio and not CN's in-house studio, and yet it airs constantly. Give credit to Spongebob, at least it's actually made by Nickelodeon directly and not by another studio. This is the part about TTG that makes me the most angry is that it's not even a CN original (all while they treat other acquisitions like crap).

I think it´s a self destruction of the TTGO, CN seem to know that airing something so many times can hurt the ratings, so if TTGO will be so much that kids get tired of it, then the network will be able to air all the other shows that was in the shadows and bring it up to light.

Are you saying that they are trying to kill it by airing the show to where nobody even the target demographic won't watch it? Cuz that won't work. I was a kid once and I remember watching as many episodes of Ed, Edd, n' Eddy as I could, no matter how many times I had seen the episode. This plan won't have the effect that you think cuz kids don't get bored of things they like until MUCH later like approaching adolescence.
I would give this show another year or two before they cancel it because I think that it's been on air for long enough
+James W I agree with this for the most part. The only main difference is that CN never aired Ed, Edd, n' Eddy all day every day. Scientifically speaking, the more your brain is exposed to something you enjoy, the harder it is to stay happy the more you're exposed to it. Even if kids become excited that TTG is on all day, over a relatively short amount of time even they will become tired of seeing it all the time. Even the amount of viewers they get is starting to drop by leaps and bounds ever since they began flooding the network with TTG.

This is why I don't watch TV anymore, my computer is my TV now. I watch Neflix, UA-cam all day, everyday. Every time I try to give CN a chance, there goes TTG. I try to remind myself which specific show is airing at what time, like Steven Universe, so when I'm done and TTG goes on, I turn off the TV. It's pretty sad :(
That's why Teen Titans Go! is the best Cartoon Network show ever and it's way better than the original Teen Titans and always will be. In the meantime, you can change the channel to Disney XD for watch Star Wars Rebels and Nickelodeon for watch The Loud House.
