Neither of them would ever call it good (though better than "Come Dancing", which my pro was on numerous times.)I know some who use it for teaching because the beat's so obvious any idiot can hear it, but no one who actually enjoys it. There's a lot more modern music available that's danceable now.
where are maurizio and melinda in this dance? and why are there suddently andrei and elena in the final, when in the other dances they are not? i'm confused?
My pro was a finalist in Latin years ago. I asked him how they could stand it. He said you stop hearing it after a while but no, the dancers don't like it either. Personally I'd just hate dancing to live music at all--the tempo can vary.

@ballroom93 Also, on ORIGINAL Samba: male dancer and female dancer actually doesn't touch each other and the music is VERY different. The guy who announced them said: "Samba". So these people think they're dancing samba... LOL
@mehsheep234 I'm Brazilian and I can tell.. this is not Samba. The guys are moving their shoulders too much and the girls are just moving their butts. Guys need to move feet and legs as well, and girls must move ALL the body. This sounds like a samba technic on a paso doble dance. -.-
i understand that Blackpool is a high class competition with a high class audience n public,but the music is very boring,thats NOT how LATIN MUSIC should sound.

Disagree. I think Yulia is better overall and in a year or so they'll beat Michael and Joanna.
