That is a LOT of work to deconstruct where each sample has been lifted from, manipulate and construct it. Props man, absolutely banging. Just shows how utterly skilled Liam is too. Having an ear and creativity to repurpose things like he does
Awesome job man! I love that you used the correct Boing sound sample too, some videos I've seen other people trying to do a remake and they never use the correct Boing sample. But major props to you for using it!
You've reconstructed entire string patch. It's more than Liam did, he simply picked factory preset of Roland U220 rompler (alongside xylophone sample:)
I've been digging the web for U220 samples for a while with no luck. So, I switched things up and started tinkering with some of the dope Roland Cloud stuff to see if I could get close to "that" sound. The real magic happens when you drop a chorus on (almost any) strings. It instantly gives that early Prodigy feel to it :) Liam also tuned every synth / sample to 432 Hz instead of today's 440 in this track. That also makes a huge difference in my opinion. Thanks for tuning in and sharing your thoughts! 👊
@@unAbleton well I happen to own U20, and apart from few unique samples you don't miss much, rest are typical bread and butter sounds you may find in factory libraries of other samplers of that time (Ensonic Mirage and Roland S50 are first that came to my mind which are easy to get).
Thanks a bunch for watching! I'm stoked to hear that you enjoyed it and found it worth your time :) It's awesome that you're going to see them live, they always put on a killer show. Have a blast and soak up every moment. Appreciate your support and for subscribing. Rave on! 🤘🎶
That was awesome I just felt that the ‘boing’ sound was rather on the offbeat that the onbeat but that doesn’t matter for it was an amazing composition
God damn... This is epic! ^^ I wonder who have more talent now you that you recreate it or the band that have fan in the 90's and product it xD I guess both [you'll have definitely a work if somehow multitracks/stems will magically despaired or be burned like 2008 Universal Studios fire]... I wonder now if it's possible to re-create Chemical Brothers - Elektrobank (I don't know if that one was all samples) I always liked that one because of the drums and bass sound hehe
Hey, thanks! The xylophone sample originally comes from Roland U220 just as the original strings. Since I don't have access to the hardware atm., I just used it from the track 'Omen', it's the same sample.
M1 could also have the same samples (it's really the chorus effect that makes "that sound"), but according to an interview with Liam, he used the U220 (A58): "I've had that for years. That's one of my all-time favorites for strings; the strings on there are a Prodigy trademark! If anyone puts a bit of chorus on those strings, you get the sound from 'Out Of Space' straight away."
It's insane that Liam did all this with a primitive (according to modern standards) sampler Roland W-30
Very true altho the worflow within the Roland helped with his work flow. These days we have an overoad of features and get drowned in it.
@@xntricity6446 So true!
Amazing work! Never realised that sample was Peter Piper!!
Thank you!
The sound of 07:40 comes from the Roland D-20.
Wonderful reconstruction! 🏅✌🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽

The Ultramagnetic MC's sample was used also in SMBU as one of the drums samples. It was equalised to take the mids up. Check it out.
Amazing work. Thanks a lot, it's a pleasure to watch.

Xylophone sample origin? Was the same xylophone sample also used for "Omen", the noise in the sample seems the same.
I NEED THIS!!!

it's great but I hear small mistake in one before last chord in strings synth

hey! nice remake dude! just wondering where did you get the xylophone?

@@unAbleton thanks! but aren't the strings from m1? i have the same sound on the korg m1 vst...

@@unAbleton oh alr, sorry 🙏
Please make a Darude-Sandstorm deconstruction
🥰👍
UAO
could you upload it without the boing please lmao or point me towards one
Lmao bruh kind of a dumb comment, the boing is part of the song so why tf would you not include that sample when it’s part of the original song..?
