The gems dropped in this!!! I've met people who don't understand what the term self care means and look at me strange for advocating and being protective of my personal time to prevent burn out, and the need to constantly have to overextend myself.
Yes, I see myself as still being in the building phases. But I'm very happy with being able to take the time to recharge if I need to.

It seems a lot of people do not understand that self care goes deeper than bubble baths & getaways; not that they aren't a part of it. It's in your day to day habits & boundaries.
The building stages are beautiful & set the foundation. Incorporating self care into that is essential. Even if it slows you down a bit. 😉
