Very enjoyable review. That little loop of elastic clipped onto the inside corner if the hammock can release one end and clip it onto the O ring on the outside corner of the hammock to hold the mosquito mesh out of the way to watch the stars on clear nights.
Take look at ground setups with tyvek . Love my Hennessy. I changed the tarp to a DD tarp 3×3 so I can have doors and pull out the sides with 1 titanium pole. Im a swede
When you use the snackskins, do you leave the foam pad in that came with it? And if you've added more insulation, would you leave it in as well? I've added the reflective mat from Hennessy.
@@marcwijnja hmmm. I have trouble fitting it in the snakeskins with the pad. Considering getting. The extra large snakeskins. And that’s even without the tarp.
Pro tip. Stop spending so much time working your biceps, and put wayyyy more time on your triceps. Your arms will look not only more balanced, but more powerful too. Triceps, back and legs…you’ll look like a Viking. 🙂 I appreciate the review. But how cold do you think you can go without extra stuff? I do a couple of fall hunting trips in canada (with packs of coyotes coming as close to as 50m at night) with temps going down to maybe minus 5 at night. It’s pretty cold in my DD hammock. I use a sleep pad, and a milsurp wool blanket, but if my sleeping bag touches the sides, I get bloody cold.
It’s mostly genetics but I’m aware 😊 The coldest I have slept in it was around freezing. I used an extra blanket and a -10 sleeping bag. It was doable but pretty colds… I am a big hammock fan but there is now way I’ll put it next to a fire. Therefore I prefer temperatures to be above zevenish (Celsius). Hope that helps!
So I just tried camping in it. I noticed my chin gets pushed down even though I lay as diagonal as possible. My head gets pushed down and into the mosquito net. Do you experience the same thing? I get a pretty stiff neck from it. Wondering if the hammock is too small for me. But I doubt that. I’m only 1,75.
Do you know of any natural mosquito repellent? I have used anti mosquito coils (They work very well) but you have to burn them (possible hazard) and then will die after some time. Is there something you can use to set up a perimeter to block most of them?

Cool! Enjoy 🌲🔥
Great video on the hammock, all the info that's needed before purchasing.
And thanks for the tips .

I leave the foam pad in. That’s about all that fits. If issue more, it goes in my backpack…

@@ephreaym the hammock is not to small! You might have leveled it incorrectly. Try tightening both sides on different hights to test…

Yes I do! I have made a video for you about it! ua-cam.com/video/UmUlImX-e4M/v-deo.html
Thanks for the inspiration G Drop! 🙏
Are you still of the opinion that this is a good hammock.?
Absolutely! I’ve tested some alternatives but this is my favorite 😊
