you all prolly dont give a damn but does anyone know of a method to log back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot the account password. I would love any assistance you can offer me!
I really enjoyed watching you do this. I do have a tendency to go over the 5 minutes mostly because once I am in the flow it is hard not to keep going. I also like that I am able to get a larger view of the spread and see the details up close at the end of this video. I like seeing the details so close.
It’s beautiful to watch you create; your journals are very beautiful-serene one may say; We work differently (there’s just artists choice - many ways to “skin the cat” - I don’t know why we want to skin this poor thing 😂), I will paint the collage, transfer, or just literally paint on my journal, after initial layers - like gesso, molding paste, etc - most often w/ acrylics - just like any painting - that itself takes hours - if I have a collage (I love playing w/those) on top of it - then it’s printing, gluing to a paper and putting under 30lbs press for 12 hrs, so it’s flat - then cutting, arranging different pieces together, painting, embellishing, etc - when I’m ready it goes on painted page; doodling / embellishing - well as you know we can just lose ourselves totally; I tend to work on surface at least 3 times bigger than your journal... although I just have an itch to play with very mini journal; the smaller - the more abstract I get, the bigger - then I tend to paint faces, landscapes, etc; middle size - collage; The choice in which I work depends on how I feel; Anyhow, usually my page can get from 12 hours to 72 hours, or even more. I’ve done entire pages in 12 hours at once; but now I tend to walk away to “rest my eyes’’ - I tend to have better ideas if I rest a bit; It is so important to what you just stressed, to put a layer a day - if you choose to put 30 layers, well that’s your choice - I usually have no problem with it; been an artist all my life, so having the luxury of creating - I’m in heaven; Again, thank you for showing the way you work - it was very inspirational, and soothing. The entire process just beautiful. I love to participate in your challenges ... makes me get to that table, and once I start working, hours just fly; I have my personal challenge and to combine with yours -well, things get interesting; I love that. Thank you, 😘🦋🎨💕.
What a delightful video, right now I am watching a lot of UA-cam as we rearrange my craft room. It was wonderful to see you in real time to get a real handle on what you are doing. The music you chose was perfect, so soothing. Thank you.
Another great video. Another great spread that could be a stand alone art piece (my only caveat to that would be that using dye ink sprays like Lindy’s is fine for a journal, as they likely won’t fade much kept from the light, but would not be appropriate for a piece exposed to light).
I have an old book I repurposed into a sketch book and it's the same size as this journal that you worked with...and I've been stuck as to what I can do with it...also, I recently inherited a sewing machine that I have been testing out on my papercrafting/bookbinding. You have definitely given me some ideas...…….
I arrived at your vid because the thumbnail at th3 side was so beautiful and interesting. I had been on Robyn McClendon’s vid. I think I am attracted by your aesthetic.✌️❤️🇨🇦🙏 Now I’m your new sub.👏
I love all your videos ... you are so talented and you make everything look so easy. I can’t wait to start my journal. What is the size and brand of this journal and what type of paper are the pages (watercolor, mixed media)? Tfs!
Love your work your page and your generosity of sharing. Thank you
Watching and listening to you is like hors d'oeuvres, soup, main course, dessert, cigars and cognac...a salon plus haute couture on paper....
