This song was just played on my favourite radio station I can still recall the days when this wonderful lady came to perform at primary school when I was a student and in later years as an adult I love the way she ends the song with that high note for the word..........be
I've loved this song and lady for the longest. I remember going to Victoria pier to hang with my friends and passing by king street stopped to listen to the "blind lady" her voice made you drift. Nu bell cleaners use to have a morning carol slot and payed this song often in the 70s.
I got licks, because I used to leave the house tell my mom I was going to look for my Aunty who lives at Rum Lane, but find myself at King Street to listen and clap for this lady, my mind just run on her so I searched UA-cam to find her songs, I enjoyed her music so much,
Can some of you please share some memories of my granny with me please, I had no idea she had this much of an impact!
