    What a beautiful place... and its so nice to see how happy you, Alexis, and the little one are together. We're on our way to Switzerland thanks to you two: the best Swiss travel content creators anywhere to be found. And, being a former New Yorker myself, Alexis adds the extra level of trust to the channel too. If you're in Luzern, Zurich, Zermatt, or Lauterbrunnen, who knows, we may bump into our fave UA-camrs. Cheers

    When I visited Switzerland last year for a week, thought that one more visit of 8-10 days will suffice to cover this beautiful country. But seeing your videos I think that one more visit has to be at least 2 or 3 or may be more

    Great travel guide and tips about Switzerland. This is my favorite and dream country. Very impressive and magical place. What a beautiful waterfall, so clean, clear crystal water. Perfect sceneries. I love your country. Thank you for taking us along here

    My family would take us there every holiday when we were kids. We are swiss but going goin to these 2 places (Locarno and Ascona) felt like going out of the country. There are palm trees and beautiful lakes. Good pizza and good gelato. The houses are often older (Ticino style). And on national day, Ascona has a huge firework every year, firing from a boat on the lake. People would gather near the lake or book a table in one of the restaurants at the lake. Then kids would start lightning their firework volcanoes on the street by the waters. Pizza, beer, firework and Ticino. Really cant get better 😄 Dont get me started on Brisago. Cant imagine a better place to live in (for me at least lol). Thanks for showing others! U caught lotsa great spots👍 Some I havent seen yet myself either☺️

    This is one of my favorite places to visit. The Ticino ticket is great if the place where you're staying honors it. Our apartment in Locarno for our upcoming stay did not. If this is important to you check before booking.

      @@TheTravelingSwiss I wonder if most hotels offer it but not necessarily apartments (even though we booked our apartment through a standard hotel booking site). Just wanted to warn people to check. Thanks for including footage of Brissago. I've been to this area several times but haven't made it there yet. It's on my bucket list!

    Omg this area is so so beautiful! I am planning to stay 11 days at switzerland in September. This area was not in our initial itinerary, but now I am seriously considering to visit here. I think I am going to rent a car for 2 days and take a day trip from Lucerne. I watched ur driving in switzerland video. Do you have any recommendations of driving routes from Lucerne to here? Thank you!

    Did you rent a car to see all these sights or can you do it with Public Transportation?

    • @TheTravelingSwiss
      @TheTravelingSwiss  Рік тому

      You can do it with public transit as long as you’re comfortable with busses (very easy in Switzerland !)

    • @TheTravelingSwiss
      @TheTravelingSwiss  Рік тому +2

      If you’re comfortable with busses it’s no problem! There are busses that go everywhere we went in this video, boats are a common transportation means too

    It's better Ticino or Italy?

    • @TheTravelingSwiss
      @TheTravelingSwiss  Рік тому +2

      Ticino is a very small region, it’s hard to compare to all of Italy, but I think it’s a noce alternative to lake como specifically, the lakes here (maggiore and lugano) have a similar vibe and scenery and far fewer crowds
