- It's time for my perfect Manchester United summer transfer window.
I'm going to run through all the signings I want to make in defence, midfield and attack, how much I think we'd spend and just as importantly who I think we can sell this summer...
At the end of the video, we'll have a new starting XI & squad plus a total net spend. This'll definitely be an interesting one!

What does your dream United summer window look like? This conversation won't change even if Erik ten Hag is replaced because I'm building towards the game model I think INEOS will go for...
Let me know your ideal SALES and SIGNINGS in the comments.
Utd should not overpay for players and sign 100% committed players !!!
You cant sell Antoney for like 25mil. Thats not going to work. He is on a 5yrs deal. With amortisation his bookvalue should be down to approx €70mil. If you sell him you take an IMIDATE HIT to the books. IMO United should be happy to find a loan for him. And doesnt have to cover too much of his 200k wages during the loan. Pray that he performs during his loan and could be offloaded afterwards for his remaing book value.
New business term: "game model". It's misleading. Teams work with a playing style (attack, counter attack or defence) and lineup. More confusion to the business!
GK: Onana, Bayindir, Radek Vitek
Defence: Dalot, AWB, Guehi, (NEW SIGNING), Martinez, Maguire, Kambwala, Lindelof, Shaw, Malacia, Brandon Williams
Midfield: Fernandes, Mount, Mainoo, Youssouf Fofana (NEW SIGNING), Amrabat (NEW SIGNING), McTominay, Dan Gore
Forwards: Jacob Murphy (NEW SIGNING), Amad, Hojlund, Che Adams (NEW SIGNING), Rashford, Garnacho
Sold / Released:
Heaton, Varane, Martial, Eriksen, Casemiro, Evans, Pellistri, Sancho, Van De Beek, Greenwood, Shoretire, Antony, Forson, Hannibal
Basic Rationale:
Guehi is a PL-proven CB who is young and home-grown
Maguire / Lindelof / Shaw can all be 2nd-choice LCB. Lindelof is a good squad player IMO - can be CB/LB and in extreme cases temporary CDM. Brandon Williams is low-cost, low-maintenance and can be useful on both wings. Can use him till/if Malacia recovers fully
Fofana - young French international with contract expiring in 2025
Amrabat - relatively low cost, now understands the team, can be energetic in midfield - Fred 2.0 basically
Jacob Murphy - we don't need inside forwards, we need someone who can create crosses/chances. He is a RW with a right foot - that is extremely rare at the moment. He will create chances for Hojlund and...
Che Adams - relatively young, physical, hardworking, understands the EPL and can be used for Cup competitions
David Ornstein is estimating our NET spend to be about £50m - so realistically it's unlikely we can spend more than £150m maybe £200m tops if we sell ALL of Casemiro, Sancho, Greenwood and some of Maguire/Lindelof/McT etc
I love how us United fans are always so optimistic with our outgoings and how much we’ll get for them. 😂😂😂
I’m prepared for another disappointing summer window. 😔
Hey let us live in the moment bro😆it's not like we don't know the final outcome. We are all getting used to it.
thats what i thought too
who's gonna pay £40m for greenwood or sancho, £35m for maguire or even £25m for antony?
and then, except saudi, i dont see any clubs will pay £30m for casemiro too
nobody wants any utd player coz we all know they were problematic and on high wages
the most sellable player in utd are in the main squad
@@manal858 sancho and greenwood are extremely sellable wdym. both coming at bargains at 30 and 40m in my opinion. only reason we may not sell them for that amount is because of how incompetent this board is at negotiating.
Completely agree with you. I fully expect this summer to suck just as much as all the others in recent years
@@ap7football933
if you ask me if they're worth that money or not, my answer is yes, they're worth it
question is, whose gonna buy them?
i doubt dortmund and getafe will spend that much money for sancho or greenwood
just my opinion tho, no offense regardless
Kerkez is 40 Mil when Gutierrez has a release clause of around 17 Mil. Easy choice. Or just keep Malacia. Main thing is that the Martinez backup can play left back. If you go Bologne go Calafiori as he can also play left back. Glad you have finally seen sense on Branthwaite.
How about alfie doughty?
@@lavahimawan7916 Given the England tax probably 20 Mil minimum. Also not strong enough defensively and a lot of his actual offensive output comes from dead ball situations. No way he is taking over from Bruno on free kicks and corners. So meh.
Madrid also has a buy out claus of only 8M for Gutierez. Even though they have 2 lbs, I don't see them missing on a 30m lb for so less.@@Hyde_Hill
Shaw needs to be gone ASAP, I'm truly sick of him. He never plays for more than 6 months yet people keep putting him in there starting elevens.
We need a new left back IMMEDIATELY
@@flacohernandez4380shaw ain gg anywhere. high wage and has contract and injury prone.
to simply put he wont leave til his contract is run down
Isn't it smarter to get a left side center back that can play left back?? Like Inacio from Sporting because everytime we buy Portuguese players they barely flop😂
He’s got a 51m release clause tho
Yes, way smarter. We already have two left backs. We need a Hato, Inacio, or Hermoso type signing. Not to mention Amass coming through.
Nah, just closed my eyes and see them getting an injury then just like that we're out a CB and LB
We need Amrabat for what he has shown us towards the end of the season especially during the FA final game Vs City. He would be a great replacement for Casemiro and compliment the proposed Onana
You've got to be kidding.
@@G_dan fortunately, I am a not. What makes you think that I am?
amrabat was not having enough game time but given the freedom he will be a perfect signing
@@abies79plus mctominay can be sold😊
1.Three birds one stone. Sign Pascal Struijk LCB/LB/DM. Paying around 25-30M for one player who can play mulitple positions to a very decent standard. Rather than signing 3 players that wont necessarily start for 35-40M+ each. Struijk could be deployed as a starting defensive LB shifting over to make a back 3. Allow Dalot to invert/stay advanced. Or be a bench utility player adding depth /cover in defense and DM. Use the savings to get a starting RCB. Todibo, van Hecke ect... Also Alfie Doughty could be option to bring in on the cheap to be LB/ LWB even perhaps LW. Would add alot of creatively for around 15M.
2. 10M for Amrabat seems like a no-brainer. Where can United get even a squad quality DM for that price. Granted he has struggled at United. But its still very possible he could turn it around. I think he's shown glimpses of that more recently. Sign Amrabat for the Squad Then mybe sign a marquee DM if doable. With perhaps Wilfred Ndidi on a free could be another option to bolster the midfield option's if we start getting light. The dream signing I want for DM/CM would be Ismael Bennacer. But thats just unlikely to happen.
3. Olise for the right price. Sure. But I don't see RW as that much of priority. Amad as backup. Garnacho has proved to be just as effective at RW. So he should be looking to lock that position down. Because unless Rashford does leave. LW is very much his. Whether that's justified or not. But what is a priority is a creative Winger. I think Jan-Niklas Beste from FC Heidenheim would be a breath of fresh air to that squad. Very much a modern take on a traditional winger. A smart Left footed Left Winger that can take on players 1&1. Deliver pin point crosses. Get's assists (14). But can also cut's inside and scores goals (8). Could play on either flank. But at LW providing crosses to Hojlund/others would offer great alternative/ competition for Rashford and Garnacho. Likely sign him for around 25-30M.
4. Sign Ché Adams on a free. Martial replacement and Back up/ Competition for Hojlund. Decent enough striker to be back up. Had a productive season in the Championship with 17 goals 6 assists. At 27 he could still likely level up.
Money is said to be tight. Perhaps even none existent. and our track record with out goings suggests that wont help much. So being frugal with signings and getting in some free transfers to supplement the squad might be the only way to go.
I would rather sign Amrabat as a squad player than Mctominay
Mctominay has been good this season tbf
I get that Mctominay is invisible most of the time, but if not for him this season united would have finished below 10th for sure
You forget Youssef fofana for £20m from monaco
He doesn't want to play for us
@@nelly2503 Did he tell you that?
@@nelly2503 Source?
Yh, definitely need 2/3 midfielders
It's a bit ridiculous to say Olise isn't injury prone based off the fact that he only had bad injuries for one season, and also say Malacia is injury prone. The fact is that we don't really know if either of those are gonna be injury prone in the future.
Jorrel Hato and Lenny Yoro should seriously be being considered, two young massively excited centre backs
I would definitely go after yoro or lucumi for our cover for lisandro and todibo for our center back alongside Martinez
The player that United can bring in imo:
CB: Todibo and keep maguire
LB: Doughty
DMF: Zubimendi, Fofana
LWF: Kvara
CF: Guirassy/Toney
The names above can be brought in of course with the condition of selling players who still have good value such as Case, Sancho, Greenwood, eriksen, lindelof and several Deadwood players such as Williams, Van De Beek, Hannibal, forson etc.
I really hope this all happens we really need some rotations and substance in this squad
Bournemouth would want more than 25m
I think quite a few are low
United fans and Board still live in the world of thinking they'll buy whoever they need while dictating the prices
Rather than looking at who is available.
I've seen Fans ask for Pickford Onana Branthwaite all for under 85M And they're gonna sell Casmero for 75.
They want Onana and Branthwaite for 50m when Everton sold an unproven Stones for 50m.
@@shadow_realm47 I mean you cannot compare selling Stones for £50m to selling someone like Onana for £50m or £60m.
You do know Everton are basically being forced into selling one of their more expensive players before July if they want to avoid another punishment right?
I think Onana for £60m is more than realistic and will happen at some point.
Don’t really understand what you mean when you say that United can dictate the price of whatever player they want, I mean that is just factually incorrect post fergie lmao.
Teams pray for United to come take one of their unproven players from them with a ridiculous fee, take Antony and Maguire as an example but there are plenty more
Another great video Sam, one thing I would say about the left back situation I think that going for someone more experienced makes a lot more sense since we already have Harry amas coming through, malacia still at the club and it’s gonna be unlikely for him to be sold on this summer as in the last few years we haven’t sold players on that quickly, aside from Telles, but he was shite, and since malacia hasn’t been too bad under eth I think he’ll stay. So someone experienced going head-to-head for the left back spot with Luke Shaw would make a lot more sense to do in my eyes
Tijjani rejinders from milan would be a great option for midfield for 30 million quid. Todibo and Lucumi are good.
Luke Shaw still in the starting 11? seriously? let it go guys
when Shaw is fit hes the best lb in the league, his creative output is outstanding and he brings the best out of Rashford, it was Rashford's biggest problem not having Shaw last season.
@@admiralstolensock3277 lol excuses.
@@admiralstolensock3277 shaw has been at man united for 10 years and only played 200 odd games you still gonna keep a player who has missed more than 200 games during his career Asshole?
@@xolasidziya8702not excuses but real analysis. Everyone knows shaw is best when fit.
@admiralstolensock3277 that's a massive "when"
Depay could be an option, back striker back up winger has something to prove here and best of all he'd be free
HINCAPIE £40-45m left sided CB and Left back if needed dont need to buy Kerkez and Lukumi, leave Harry Amas as a backup and gives him more opportunity.
Todibo, Robinson, Fofana, Amrabat, Guirassy. Gross Spend ~ 200M. When accounting for sales, our net spend will probably be around 100M. This is a realistic summer imo. Would love Olise but he'd cost an arm & a leg
WOW!!!! I mean the editing, graphics etc.... I don't know what to say.
Very Good Sam and for UPTV Community.
We gonna do it anyway!!!!
if we sign Wieffer(if LIV dont want him) instead of Onana then the 3 midfielders will be BMW like a car.
EXTRAORDINARY!!!!
We need change to start ..come on INEOS
Amazing!!, I hope someone from our new sporting team can watch this video man
I like this kind of video Sam. Keep it up bro
Can't understand fans who write Malacia off .. he's had 1 season and though he's injury prone we got him for under 15m I guess .. he's still young so deserves a chance.
The injuries become the dealbreaker. He’s solid but can’t be for us if he’s absent.
Not his fault but the league is too competitive to wait. City just bagged the title again, arsenal are knocking on the door.
I really don’t want Antony but it seems like we’ll have to keep him. His wages are just so high and he won’t play much especially if we get Olise
My perfect summer is (incoming wise)
Theo Hernandez
Bastoni
Yoro
Onana
Neco Williams
Harry Kane
If Malacia recovers,I think we should sign a left back and switch Shaw to a centre back.. in this way Shaw will be a perfect backup for Martinez, but can also be used as a left back.. thus Shaw and Licha can share the workload..
It's a big if because it entirely depends on how fit both are next season..
It seems like a curse that our left footers have remained injured so much.. Shaw, Malacia, Licha, Hojlund, Amad.. it's crazy..😂
Optimistic but interesting. Let's see how ineos do in the transfer window. Great video Sam
This was well thought out. To me, there are 3 signings that are absolutely happening regardless of sales/transfer budget: a starting RCB, a starting CDM, and an “extra” striker. Todibo seems like a tap in at RCB. I’m not the biggest fan of Onana (not sure he’s good enough on the ball for ETH’s 3-1-6 system), but definitely someone with a similar profile. As you said, Wieffer would be great but unlikely. I really like Ederson, he covers so much ground and dribbles like an attacker. Guirassy would be fine at ST, especially if we don’t have a very big budget, but I want someone who can legit push Rasmus for minutes ideally. This is probably divisive, but I really like the idea of Toney… especially if he’s available for 40 mil like has been reported recently. After those 3, I think a new left-sided defender is a necessity. Not 100% sure we’ll get that, but I think we really need one. We need someone who can play LCB or LB at a high level. I’m not the biggest fan of bringing in a pure LB since we have two on the roster and Amass is breaking through. Hato, Hincapie, or Inacio would all be great versatile left sided defenders. Beyond that, I’d keep Amrabat but it seems like any other signing will depend on sales. If Antony leaves we need a RW (Olise), if AWB leaves we need a new CB, if Malacia leaves we need a new LB, etc.
RB* if AWB leaves
Kerkez is a perfect signing! Let Malacia be on loan at Feyenoord; their lb is Quilindsey Hartman and he is out until january 2025. Kerkez is an affordable option, strong guy, has international experience. You can build that position up with him and Amass, while Luke Shaw is setting the standard still in the coming seasons. It is about building a team for the decade to come.
Let's see what Hannibal has learned and if we want to keep him maybe. Youth gets a real opportunity under the current manager, so we need to keep that moment up and not get rid of youngsters -new to this level of competitiveness and engagement- who are still learning fast. We cannot all be alike a Kobbie Mainoo. Keep McTominay and Lindelof and Dalot. Experienced professional players who can perform when the are needed. We need a better bench too. Let's clean the squad up and give ETH a fighting chance with the team for 24/25!
Sell Shaw. He's perennially injured
Thanks
We need 2 DMs, Amrabat and one of Fofana, Wieffer, Hjulmand or Andre Trinidad. Anselmino as CB also an option. Locko as LB also, from Brest.
Love your videos from India 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳 ❤❤
the most realistic idea with cureent utd condition are:
- sign free player with normal wage (i.e hermoso, ndidi)
- get rid of every deadwoods
- promote youth player
dream signings is like gambling
unless utd wanna suffer even more, idt they'd do that
Great video pal
love your videos keep going
For me instead of Kerkez, Lucumi and Guirassy we go for Depay(free), G. Inacio and Amrabat.
Also, we keep Lindelof along with Maguire and anthony.
I think we can get more for both sancho and greenwood (Combine 100 m).
If we able to pull this off we can get 6 CB and 2 DM, which i feel is better considerring injuries this season.
We have been trying to off-load Van de Beek for several years and no-one seems interested - how long does he have left on his contract? I'm pretty sure that Onana will cost way more than 50m, even though Everton are in the brown sticky stuff.
Rw- Michael olise £55 million
St- Joshua zirkzee £34 milion release clause
Mdf- Amadou onana £60 million
CB- Jean claire todibo £40 million
CB- Goncalo inacio £51 million
LB- Miguel gutiérrez £38 million
All your potential signings and loans and sales are on point.
We'd need some midfielders coming through from the youth team or a well-chosen prospect with potential that we'd be willing to develop
I'd like to see us take a punt on a couple of players - maybe getting in a striker from outside of Europe and seeing if they have what it takes (try them out in early stages of the cup competitions), if they don't have what we need, it's no big loss, and if they find Old Trafford brings out the best in them, that's great
Great video Sam
I hope we keep Evans and Amrabat. Playing in the Europa will take a strain on the squad.
Really good video, make it happen SJR
For 15m we probably should let Amrabat stay to challenge and rotate for the DM-position.
I swear he has made this exact video about 7 times in the last 4 weeks.
Fantastic. I wish it went that way
I would like this as you said. But given the fact the utd board had made some really bad signings in the last summers i dont know if it would happen^^ But I agree 100% and hope it will come like this =)
Sam no way Greenwood is sold for 40m, definitely lesser. Pellistri 5m, Hannibal 7m, Van de Beek 5m, Sancho 35m, Antony 25m, Casemiro 20m
Greenwood is easily worth more than 40 mil, it's only his personal issues that keep his value lower. Any lower than 40 mil and yet again we have been conned.
Onana is a nice shout, but I would prefer Weiffer to him. I think Weiffer is more rounded. And he can receive the ball from the back way better.
Weiffer should be a MUST buy, imo. Can also play CB; his FBREF stats are excellent/way better than Onana's
@@johndirom8999 true. Liverpool stand a better chance of getting him but we should definitely try.
I would prefer Wieffer to him as well. Onana is not good enough on the ball.
Yea Wieffer basically has Onana’s ground covering ability combined with far better on the ball skills. I think him or Ederson from Atalanta would be better signings (and significantly cheaper).
What a Video Sam 👏🏻👍
Look at what Newcastle, Palace, Brighton etc have done and shop like a smaller club
In my opinion, Onana is a scam. He's good and all but we should focus on the winger and center back spots. We have so many better options to put there. We can put McTominay on the right side and have Amrabat as a backup for him or Mainoo. You could also argue Hannibal stays in that position because of his pre-season and his work at Sevilla. Lastly, if u really don't think they’re reliable then sign Fofana from AS Monaco. He has a 20 mil release clause and is cheaper than Onana's price and almost as effective.
This summer is going to be more about sales than purchases. It's clear that Ineos are not going to be spending over £30m on any player which will rule out nearly every player you have mentioned.
Antony is going to prove everyone wrong, the man has talent, it is a lack of confidence ON THE PITCH, most likely due to the probably false allegations against him in Brazil. It is absolutely shameful how he is being piled on
In joyed that video I agree 👍
Most likely outcome is we keep Malacia, McTominay, Anthony, Amad and Maguire.
There's Collyer and Kambwala as back up.
Probably, we'll buy a central defender, a midfield loan and a two year deal for a 30+ year old striker.
Man United should keep Scott Mc Tominay. He is a Clutch player when United needs a Goal. He is a good choice on the bench . ❤❤
You're so SPOT ON with your PIPE DREAM. We can't sell Greenwood period
Keep it up
I prefer LCB Goncalo Inacio. Overall quite agreed. Dream will be selling Anthony.
What do you think of Toby Collyer or Maximillian Oyedele for the midfield insted of buying one
Onana is THAT guy, will only be better in a big team and man he can recover. Provides so much for kobbie and bruno especially if we press high and he has to cover the space in behind
Blowing the budget on Olise will show we haven't learned from last season. Last summer we blew the budget on Mount. Season before we blew it on Antony & Casemiro. We need cheaper signings, and multiple of them. Guirassy for 30M is a prime example of this
Y Fofana over Onana for me all day. Maybe Kokcu for more creativity in the middle. Apart from that spot on
Its not just about tranfer fees. Its about the wage bill too. If we free up enough of the wages we can invest more in new players.
All the time delivering
We want to see how smart INEOS in the players transfer.
Think we maybe avoid branthwaite for now, for his price you could get two CB’s with just at much potential without the English tax. Also Onana doesn’t excite me from Everton, not sure why, maybe he could be great. Good video as always!
15m-20m for Lindelof surely? We could get more for Donny to surely 10m maybe, slightly more?
Lindelof is on 120000. Who will pay him that?
@@playedout148no one
No one is paying 1 million for Donny.
Amadou Onana is a great player. Ive watched him during 20/21 Season at Hamburger SV in the Zweite Bundesliga. Which is a physical league. He didnt got much bullied around. Could hold his own. Got sold after 1 season for almost €13mil to Lille. Who sold them another year later for €35mil to Everton. In these 2yrs he developed pretty well. For 30mil he would be a good signing.
he would cost around 50-60m
Not good enough on the ball. We need someone who is well rounded and can control a game like Rodri.
Crazy idea: what about bringing Lukaku back for around 35mil - yes he is not amazing but hear me out. He has experience and could be someone højlund can learn from plus how his past seasons went he will also not be coming here to steal højlunds starting place, it would be an open competition depending on the performance on the training pitch. With his strenght and speed he would be a good option to rotate højlund with, without having to changr the teams style of play, at the same time taking pressure of højlunds shoulders and making it easy for ten hag to manage their game time.
Love the optimism here. Shaw as a starter is wildly optimistic, maybe more so than us spending over £100m this summer. I would absolutely not have Rashford anywhere near the first team and I'd sell or even loan if possible as he's awful and seem to have a bad influence on the squad. Olise is not a signing we need. Amad, garnacho and Antony (def won't be sold) can play there, garnacho is better on the right and Rashford being useless means we need a left winger.
Just had a look and Amrabat's option to buy is approx. £21.5m. Got to be worth it now that ETH has finally worked out where to use him, move Van de Beek and Eriksen on and there's your money right there. And talking of Eriksen who is my main reason for posting, how about offering him as a make weight back to Brentford and sign Toney? Talk is he would be available for £50m although I don't know how accurate that is.
We don't need a monster out of possession
We need someone who can control the game
Onana is not the guy at all
We need someone who can play football
Fofana is way way better than onana
being real its our first transfer aft spending too much on flops last yr, i reckon
lb - dk who
cb - ignacio (branthwaite british tax and too exp for rotation player with lisandro
rcb - todibo definitely affordable and decent player (will be stupid not to get him) / Yoro would be good but hes gg madrid probably
rb - think if no one comes for awb we gna keep dalot and awb
cdm - need a no6 so we cld keep amrabat or get onana (knowing utd very unlikely we cld get a deal)
rw - olise (obvious signing since greenwood and sancho most likely will leave along w facundo pellistri on loan maybe
thats bout it we will do regardless the amount of players that be leaving on sale or off the wage books
With LB I think we put Lisandro Martinez here the reason why it allows Dalot push up more. Think Shaw should be sold due to his injuries and have malacia as the backup. That allows you to spend on two starting CB pairs with pace and technical ability.
I think you can get LCB’s such as Facundo Medina, Arthur Theate for around 25-35 million both highly technical and can play LB if needed. Then sign Todibo as our main right CB
We also need a back up number 6.
Looks good
United should definitely go for Fofana from Monaco
I was just thinking…..
All this stuff about Man City’s 115 FA Chagres instead of fines or stripping them of (previous) titles;
They should work out how much they overspent by add a penalty fee and deduct that from what they can invest over the next 3/4 yrs.
malacia is not injury prone just had one bad injury and a set back during recovery tbh if we do sell a LB it should be Shaw
Logical
Would be amazing if the club only ended up spending £10-20 net spend - great list of signings that would vastly improve the squad
Malacia only had one injury and he is better now and is good
Rather have a second cdm than a backup striker, If onana gets injured our midfield is gone again, but if hoylund gets injured then just put rashford or bruno up there like in the fa cup final
I don't know why no one looks at any free agents like Rabiot, Delort, Depay, Kelly
The problems with Man United is we hard to sell players especially the deadwood . If this summer we didn’t buy enough and sell , next season we might be at 6-8th in the league again . And the injury’s will keep on happening.
I’d love for us to sign:
LB: Gutiérrez
LCB: Hato
RCB: Todibo
DM: Amadou Onana
CM: Fofana
RW: Olise
ST: Dovbyk
Ratty will keep Shaw & Malacia and hope to use youth player as back up
Yoro or todibo RCB, Inacio LCB, Gutierrez LB, Pedro Lima RB(Gem) Foffana/Ederson + if possible J.Neves/J.gomes CDM/CM, Zhergova RW, Zikzee ST. No Hinglish players
If United will manage to sold 100 mil will be amazing but I don't think will be like this.
You are so wrong about the Am position that is where we actually need reinforcements, we barely create anything and neither Bruno nor Mount are good enough we need a player in that position who is good on the ball, can take on defenders, is good in tight spaces, can pass and score.
Like Kudus
I might be biased because I’m Swedish but Lindelöf is a great back up back up cb. He’s not the best but he is cheap and can be a great player. I don’t think they should sell him. Selling maguire and getting cash for him and getting a backup is betting in my opinion.
So Sam says we let go of our 2 CDM and buy 1😂😭he must've forgotten the injuries we've had this season
See how Ancelotti has players who are dynamic enough to play in several positions? Camavinga = CM+DM+LB
Tchouameni =CM+DM+CB
That's how Utd need to sign players. Pep signed a Gvardiol and we all saw his impact in the last parts of the season.
We need a striker to link up with rasmus to start with then more stability at the back let's start with that
in some fantasy world, manchester united would have rafael leao, hojlund and olise on the attack
but that means that rashford and antony would have to leave
Sporting Lisbon nerves would be more perfect in that CM than Onana
This video looks wrong in so many ways from my perspective. Not sure why our fans always undervalue our players when selling, Clearly Lindelof can be sold for 15-20M, Pellistri 15M etc, especially with our new board with Dan Ashworth and Co at the helm!!.
The most important thing should be our squad depth but this looks like a paper-thin, few injuries away from disaster. Clearly, Scott can't become a backup to Mainoo. Two players with extremely different player profiles!!. This should be our squad for next season -
GK - Onana, Lucas Chevalier (11M- Release Clause) & Heaton
LB - Miguel Gutierrez(17M- Release Clause), Malacia, & Harry Amass (Academy)
RB - Dalot, & Aaron Hickey (25M)
LCB - Lisandro, Mario Hermoso(free agent) & Shaw
RCB - Todibo (40M), Evans, & Kambawala
CDM - Youssouf Fofana (25M), Amrabat (20M), Toby Collyer & Maxi Oyedele (Academy)
CM - Mainoo, Aleix García(27M - Release clause), & Daniel Gore
CAM - Bruno, Mount, & Scott
LW - Garnacho, Rashford & Omari
Forson (Academy)
RW - Michael Olise (60M), Amad & Antony
ST - Hojlund, Serhou Guirassy (17M - Release Clause) & Ethan
