Through flashback, we learn about Gingka’s father, Ryo, who originally had the bey Pegasus and was defeated by Ryuga and lightning L-Drago.
Synopsis:
Kenta confronts Gingka and Gingka opens up about his past. We learn that Gingka’s father Ryo was the original owner of the Bey Pegasus and an arch rival of Ryuga. Ryuga defeated Ryo in a battle between Pegasus and the Forbidden Bey Lightning L-Drago. Ryo’s final words to his son are to defeat Ryuga so that he can return L-Drago to its rightful place. This is why Gingka has been working hard to improve his skills all this time.
