PTSD is far too big an issue to depend solely on your spouse for support. She was right to advise him to seek help and it was mature of her to realize she wasn't equip to handle that.
But when she sees that he is not and needs more of a push than suggesting it. She is supposed to turn it up a notch. Seem like she just pushed the problem off to him who was already unsure of how to handle it.
His reality revolves around himself. She was also in the military, she was pregnant, and is in school full time. He makes it like his wife makes zero contributions and needs to bend at all of his wills. He's not marriage oriented. He makes excuses for everything.

Mrs. Terrell is drop-dead gorgeous. She sounds like a very good wife and mother. She works, goes to school, keeps house, and is raising the children. She is pulling all the weight-such a heavy load. My biggest question is how is he smoking all this weed and he's active duty military? 🤔 My husband did 18 years in the Marines and they were constantly making them randomly piss, and at least once every month.

But they talked about the weed thing and afterwards talked about some sort of military promotion. And he was saying he was using a deployment. Maybe they just had the stories chronologically off, but it just didn't sound right to me.

The Judge's advice at the end is point on! Control yourself even though the other person pushes your button! Yes....I've failed a few times, but for the most part, my goal is to keep cool and let the other person look and feel stupid.

I think you may have missed a significant point, Judge Lynn; that being...that the husband may have been struggling with his own sexuality. You may think it's far fetched, or that I'm reaching, but there was something in his demeanor beyond his insecurities. When a MAN is quick to just cuss a woman out, call her out of her name, etc, it may be a "red flag". Doesn't matter whether he has fathered children, or not; been a soldier, or seen horrible scenes during deployment. How he relates to others - women specifically - can be a indicative of much deeper rooted relationship struggles.
From a psychological point of view that is very logical & most likely very accurate as I have seen this in my own circle of friends with the insecure unsure males who mistreat others due to their own sexual confusion which is of course wrong and immaturely detrimental at best but it is a fact that most feel are held in secrecy but don't realize how obvious it is to most. He should seek help or at least let her be happy without him, no one deserves that abuse.
How you relate all that to not knowing his sexuality
Judge Lynn is not a therapist, she can't know everything in 20 mins.

I don’t understand people who hate each other and can’t stop seeing the other person as the devil but still want to save their marriage. Like judge Lynn says if you choose to stay married despite the cheating and bad things your partner did at least let it go and enjoy the present. But many people choose to live in chaos and hurt like it’s their only choice. If your man is a cheater and you know you won’t leave then accept it, accept the person as they’re or leave but don’t settle for misery.

What they see during the wars and the way they are treated EVERYDAY in the military.. My mother's husband and my husband both ex military treated us like they were our commanders and we were their low ranking soldiers.. The longer they're in the worst they are.. BOTH ARE COMPLETELY NARCISSISTIC AND SEVERELY ABUSIVE.. Their abusive childhood was the first blocks that built them into the abusive adults they became.. OF COURSE, THEY HID IT WELL.. WHEN THEY MET US... I GOT OUT AFTER 2YRS OF MARRIAGE.. MY MOM IS STILL MARRIED 42 YRS LATER..SMH.. HER HUSBAND IS STILL AN MEAN, NARCISSISTIC A-HOLE.. BUT HE DOESN'T FIGHT HER ANYMORE.. I think the thing he is expecting is that she can run and manage the family on her own, and then take care of him, both as a spouse and a medical professional.

Marriage is a sort of jail for both people. You do NOT need to be married to be happy or to raise children in a good environment. In the end, the kids don't give a darn that mom & dad aren't married...they simply want to be raised in a healthy, positive and nurturing environment....which they deserve because they did not ask to be born.
