- Like in the original Tekken Tag Tournament, matches involve each player selecting two fighters to fight with.
Players are able to switch their fighters out at any time, allowing the inactivate character to gradually recover some life they might have lost. If the life bar of either of a player's fighters runs out, that player loses the round. If time runs out, the player who has the most cumulative life remaining amongst their fighters wins the round.
Certain pairs of characters, when selected as a tag team, have special intros, win poses, lose poses, Tag Throws, and also Netsu ratings.
The Netsu ratings affect gameplay, and whether a character 'liked', was indifferent to, or 'disliked' another, would result in faster or slower ability to gain a damage boost when their partner was damaged. The special win and lose poses are more lore based, and do not directly map onto the Netsu system, though the Netsu system can give hints as to who will have a special interaction.
The gameplay expands on the tag mechanics featured in the first Tekken Tag, allowing for extended tag combos and combined moves. New techniques include combined Tag Throws which, if timed properly, can be escaped from.
Tag combos (referred to as "Tag Assaults") which can be done simultaneously with both characters participating in the combo at the same time.
Tag Crashes could be performed when the player was on the ground and their partner's health bar flashed red. The game inherits gameplay features from Tekken 6, such as "Bound" hits (hits that slam an airborne opponent to the ground and stun them so combos can be extended) and walled arenas, some of which featuring walls and floors that can be broken through during the fight. Character customization is also featured, similar to past Tekken games.
Additionally, damage scaling has been altered, as grounded or slumping enemies now only take 60% of damage from an attack as opposed to a full 100% like in previous games.
In the Unlimited version, the player can switch a ratio between Tag mode and Solo mode ("2 vs 2", "1 vs 2" or "1 vs 1"). There is also a Pair Play mode, which allows four players to fight simultaneously in pairs of two, much like the "Scramble Mode" in Street Fighter X Tekken. The Unlimited version features the Rage system from Tekken 6 for Solo mode characters, and the new tag partner Rage system from the original arcade version of Tag Tournament 2 for Tag mode characters only.
Rage gives characters more damage per hit when their vitality is below a certain point. Once activated, a reddish energy aura appears around the character, and their health bar starts to flicker in red.
The Netsu Power appears when an on-screen character gets attacked a certain amount of times and the off-screen character's lifebar flashes. If the on-screen character tags out while the off-screen character's lifebar is flashing, the tagged character becomes slightly stronger.

Maxwell Powers is also the presenter of NeoGeo mini online presentation and also voices Asimov from Azure Striker Gunvolt in the English dub, as well as the narrator for the trailer of the game.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Unlimited Arcade or just Tekken Unlimited is a 3D fighting developed and published by Bandai Namco for Namco System 369. It's upgraded version of the original Tekken Tag Tournament 2. The game was released for Japanese arcades on March 27, 2011.
The upgrade features not only 2vs2 battles, but also 1vs1, and as an entirely new addition, 1vs2 battles. Additionally, the gameplay was balanced out for any battle format to be as enjoyable as the other ones.
The PS3 and X360 versions are based on Unlimited if I remember correctly.

Why only the winner poses of characters are in lower pixellated resolution against rest of game that Is perfect? I tried several settings but nothing
Cause those are pre-rendered cutscenes, to make it look great you need to uncheck "Write Color Buffer", but you'll lose colors over characters and backgrounds, it is not worth for such trival thing. Plus the emulator it's in very early stages (this is the first public release), it will improve over time.
