I am a 24 year old who has lived in Minnesota their entire life. I remember Camp Snoopy, and I go to the Mall of America regularly. This park gives an amazing energy to the surrounding mall, and constantly serves as a spot of joy, even in the cold winter months. I cannot recommend this park and the surrounding mall enough.
Fun fact: the log chute still retains some of the theming from when it first opened. When cresting over the first lift hill, look to the right. The boysenberry sauce from the park's Knotts Camp Snoopy is still there.

my mom and I visit MOA every year before school starts, we didn’t go last year due to the pandemic, but we are going in about a month. definitely recommend going 😊 I love it there
I agree: Nickelodeon Universe > Valleyfair. I had 2 days in the city, and since Sunday was going to storm all day long (plus several tornadoes within 50 miles), I did Nickelodeon Universe. It was a big crowd, but not too bad at all. I still got 10 rides on Spongebob, with one of the shortest lines in the park, plus plenty of rides on the flats. Pepsi Orange Streak had easily the longest line, running one train, slow ops, and it's appealing to the whole family.
Wait... you are telling me the other Nickelodeon Universe that costs a flat fee of $80, is located in a warehouse, and only features coasters with intense rattles isn't as great? Seriously though the reason I love Canobie Coaster over every other coaster reviewer online, is because he's seemingly the only person on this site who doesn't just go for the credits, and instead goes for the full amusement park experience. Can you believe that people like Coaster Studios & Airtime Thrills (Don't get me wrong I still love them) completely skip over river rapids rides, log flumes, flat rides, and often dark rides at every park they go to? They show up, get the credits, and leave. Being a coaster enthusiast just to rack up an artificial number nobody should really care about is quite sad.
Everyone looks for different things in amusement parks. That's not necessarily a bad thing. I love coasters, but parks are about more than that for me. Theming and non-coasters are a big part of the experience.
I only filmed three rides with my mother and Aunt Karen in July 2022. These were Spongebob Squarepants Rock Bottom Plunge, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shell Shock and Fairly Odd Coaster. I will film more rides at this park next year with the help of my 11-year-old cousin Lilly.
Nice review video! A small point I'd like make is that you said "Nickelodeon Universe" soooo many times it became distracting 3min into the video. It's already in the title, so maybe next time you could switch it up and just say "the park" instead of always repeating the parks name
Great video! Hopefully we eventually get Planet Oasis which is that huge mall that’s supposed to come to Columbus, I don’t care when it comes as long as it actually happens 👍
I hate being the grouch about any amusement park, but, wow, do you like this park a lot more than I do. And you especially love the atmosphere, which for me was the worst aspect. The rides and their theming felt coldly corporate to me, and the surroundings felt like a warehouse box or, well, a mall - antiseptic. Still, I’m not saying I disliked the place - just that it didn’t give me the warm and fuzzy feeling an atmospheric amusement park usually does. But we’re agreed that the log ride is the best attraction at the park.
If you weren't a fan of the atmosphere of the Minnesota one, I'm interested what you'll think about the American Dream one. That one really felt cold to me!
Canobie Coaster I’m sure I’ll think the atmosphere is dreadful at the NJ one, but my expectations are duly lowered on that front, so it should be fine. I’m now sort of 80-90% sure I’ll be going on Monday, thanks entirely to your detailed review.
One of the biggest reasons I prefer Minnesota is the atmosphere and I don't see that improving in New Jersey because of the building set-up. But I agree NJ could get a better ride lineup.
Nice review! Have you ever thought about visiting TransStudio in Indonesia? They are really good indoor theme parks with incredible theming and they’re also quite cheap! I recommend visiting TransStudio Bandung.
I appreciate the review of the nickodlen universe in mall of America compared to the new one at American dream mall, where I just visited this past Sunday. The one in n.j does have better rollercoasters, but the orginal nickodlen universe has more attractions. I hope to visit it someday
When Nickelodeon Universe first opened, the Screaming yellow eagle ride was changed to a Danny Phantom ride. But later taken down and changed to TMNT. I wished they'd keep the Jimmy Neutron ride. 😒
i was about 10 when i went to mall of America and rode those rides. i remember there being a pirates ride that you sit in a boat and swing from one end to another which now that i think about it is pretty interesting
Rock bottom plunge is one of the worst coasters I've ridden. The gerstlauer otsr and the rattle caused awful headbanging. And I haven't gotten the tivoli and barnyard credits from there since in October 2017 I wasn't an enthusiast at the time. Love the vids!
I kinda wish they add more plants that reach further up closer to the roof, and that they make the roof a darker less noticeable color, it stands out a lot in all the videos I've seen and makes the area seem bland
As we can see king Bach has presented a rather large train to his friend. The humor in this video stems from the fact that king Bach would like to consume ice cream but his friend resorts at him saying, he can only have a trainful, nothing more. Bach then suddenly changes his expression and body language and reveals he is indeed in possession of a train. And not just any train, it is a massive stainless steel train. This is funny beacuse you would never expect someone to be casually in possession of a massive train to eat ice cream with. It is completely unorthodox and uncalled for. This is why the video is so humorous and was put on the 2012 Epic vine compilation

It really seems like the theming has been great before and after Snoopy. Really the only black mark is the Park at MOA days.

As a fan of theme parks, Disney is great but the log chute is my all time favorite.

Pepsi Orange Streak with one train would be bad. Both times I was there it ran 2 trains without any stacking.
American dream as a Nickelodeon theme park as well!!! Some of the rise look the same as yours but with a different nick tv show thrown on it lol

It's the best one in America, but it's far from the best one in the world. The Dubai ones in particular stand out.

There are some smaller FECs, but the three big ones are the two Nick U parks and Adventuredome.

I think New Jersey could close the gap on the number of attractions, but it will be hard for them to match the atmosphere of Minnesota.
